I was missing the forum. Though I am not as emotionally vested in QH, as I was with IPK, I like what I see so far. Are we going to follow the same pattern as we did in DC IPK? Or are we just going to discuss the episode?
I also don't watch this everyday. I record and watch a few epis together, so I may update/cooment on a few episodes together.

My post below is in reply to someone else on this forum. Her question was whether Asad is justified in throwing Zoya out. My response to that, and in general on QH I have seen so far...

Zoya - To be honest, I like her at times, but most of the time I find her a wee bit irritating (may be a bit too loud for me). I believe that if you are a guest in someone's house, you have to respect the rules of the house. She has been lacking in that respect. Yes, she shares a beautiful relationship with her phupi and Najma, yet, I feel she goes a bit over board, and seems to take things for granted. I thought she went a bit overboard with that "I am sorry Zoya" password thing. Also, I know she is messy, but it wouldn't hurt to pay a little bit more attention, especially if you are in someone's house. I can relate to Asad here when he minds it. If someone did that in my house, I would mind it too😊

I do however believe that somewhere deep inside is a more sensitive and emotional Zoya. Her conversation with Dilshaad yesterday was beautiful. I would love to see more of this side of Zoya.

Asad - I like his personality. He is a self-made man. That is always a plus. He is also a bit too traditional when it comes to his thoughts on women. If he thinks that women wearing pants, or women who are outspoken are "loose" characters, then it is definitely his own problem. However, beneath this superficiality, I see a very caring man, who feels extra responsible towards his sister, since their father left them at a very tender age.

He also believes that Zoya is his responsibility when she is in their house. So, if he thinks it is unsafe for them to go to the match alone, he is justified in getting angry. But may instead of sounding like a tyrant, he might have tried to reason it out with a little bit of "pyaar". The outcome might have been different then😊

From Zoya's point of view, yes, she can do what she likes. She has always done that. However, she is a guest in their home. So, on that account, she should have respected his wishes. And even if she went for the cricket match, she shouldn't have involved Najma, simply because here Asad has the higher authority.

More on Asad - I love his caring attitude towards his step-siblings. It is interesting that he wants nothing to do with his father, but at the same time has embraced Ayan, and loves his two step-sisters in his own way. I wonder if this is a way of holding on to his father in some way??

I love Dilshaad/Rashid/Shireen angle. No matter what Rashid does, he will end up hurting the other woman! I guess he never could get over Dilshaad, but then who knows why he was coerced into marrying Shireen. Was he simply a weak man, or is there more to the story?

Finally, a question to you, that my hubby asked after watching 5 mins of one of the episodes, and getting the story from me in a nutshell. If Rashid married Shireen 17 years ago, how on earth is Ayan and Nikhat older than 16?? Is there a major gap in story telling here??

Anyways, this became too long. But these were my two cents...

So far, I am liking Asad Zoya scenes... Zoya is naughty... and I think the whole I'm Sorry Zoya... although OTT... did make me laugh... mostly 'cos I was thinking from Asad's point of view.. how irritating it must have been for him !

We all know 4 Lions' tendency to go overboard with OTT... yet they still remain no. 1 for me... as I can't seem to connect to any other serial, apart from theirs !

I love to subtle romance between Rashid and Dilshad too.. wonder what their story is ! and even I have the same Q as ur hubby... why 17 yrs... when clearly.. Ayaan has passed college and Nikhat is in her last year... Maybe there is something missing here, which we'll get to se later !

Shireen... Sab kismat ki lakh hai... isme kya shaq hai ! The less I say about her... the more Beenz will !!! 😆 I dedicated Shireen to Twisted Beenz !

I like Nikhat n Najma too... Humeira needs to work on her acting skills... and the younger one... is cute !

Zoya's past is to be revealed too... let's see... I'll give this program a wait and watch... maybe with time, we'll love it... as we have done in the past with Geet and IPK !
