Replying within half-an hour.
Starting to reply to your queries now.

As I've said in my last post that I give up.I really meant doing that.
I never said that you are asking me to stop following something that has been conveyed to me by my Prophets[pace be upon them].I said that we muslims don't raise a question when we know that Allah has asked us to something.Just like we keep 'roza' in Ramadhan, the same is the case with many of our cultural beliefs.I think there was a misinterpretation due to miscommunication.😆
All Muslim women who don't follow pardah as guided by Allah will be accountable to their creator on the judgement day.
This thread is not about a religion but the cultural believes of Asad and to explain why Asad does not likes western outfits.Muslims don't have a cast by the way.Allah never made one.For Allah all people are equal.
Zoya and her family is surely going to be accountable on the judgement day for some serious issues of dress code.I have deliberately not mentioned this thing before. If Allah has asked women not to wear clothes that resemble a men's apparel,it should be followed without a question. But then again, Allah never imposed anything on the followers of any religion. This why relaxations are seem to be adapted every single second in the way cultures and religions are followed in this globalized era.

If God wishes women to behave in a certain manner and Asad simply asked the same to his sister then Asad didn't commit a crime.I agree that this is what Asad thinks and believes. He should have been a bit lenient to Najma. But frankly speaking Najma lacks a convincing power.Had Zoya been in Najma's place,Asad's angry glares could have had no impact on her.
This is why I've mentioned in the end of the first post that Zoya is surely going to change the outlook of others towards certain things in life.
If you remember today's episode,Dilshad has said the same and I was very happy when she said that Asad needs to learn that people from a difficult culture can also be good and must be treated with respect.Asad can be a bit unreasonable at times,I agree.
*********************************************************
If you ask me as a Muslim girl,I would like to say that I have stopped wearing jeans after class 7th.Noone asked me to do that.I simply didn't feel like wearing it and was not much comfortable in it.
My parents encouraged me to go for kurti jeans but I could never get at ease in that dress.I've wore skirts till class X coz of my school and I certainly didn't have any problem in wearing it.
I'm just like Asad in the fact that if I stick a few things to my values,I won't let any circumstances and I any situation, place or person affect me.I can bring a change in myself only if my heart agrees for the amendment in my personality.
It's my personal request to send me a reply to this post as pm coz I don't wish this thread to get closed coz of religion based issues.

I'm glad that you are still posting your quesries and are willing to discuss this matter with such a cool mind.
That is really thoughtful of you Payal di.
I love you for being so mature and understanding .
Take care!

@ Roshan I don't remember the page number of your post and my reserved post in relation to it.
Here is my feedback:

I agree with every single sentence that you had posted.thanks a lot for sharing a real life example.
I'm glad that you could understand logically what I was trying to say.
Thanks a lot for your wonderful appreciation in the thread as well as through pms.
The conversations which u and Zaria had were quite wonderful to read..I loved everything what you two have discussed.
this thread was created to open minds of few people regarding the culture of Asad.
I'm happy that I could do a little bit for Asad by making this thread.
I'm really grateful to you for all your love and support.
Plz keep encouraging me like this with your amazing comments.

@ Raju I exactly don't remember my reserved post page number for replying to your reviews.
We disagree on a few things as well as agree on others.
I can understand what you are trying to say but calling Asad an orthodox is not correct.Sometimes people can become rigid for a particular thing and if we call them a conformist because of a single statement then that is not fair in my eyes.
Regarding what Zoya can do Asad I would ask you to refer to my replies for the the posts made by bary.I'm nsure you'll get to know my views when East meets west and both will fall in love eventually.
Thanks a lot for sharing your amazing views.I really enjoyed reading and understand your point of view.
Take care!
Kindly keep motivating me always with your sweet comments.

I liked dilshaad' s dialogue that asad has to learn that if someone's culture is different doesn't mean they are bad

Exactly Nandini. This is what I said in the first post.
When Asad and Zoya will get to know each other then both are going to bring a little change in the perception, attitude and behaviour of each other.
I'm eagerly waiting to see how Asad and Zoya will tolerate eah other for sometime in the same house before they start liking each other.
This show is getting interesting day by day.
I'm glad that all of us are loving it so so much.
Thanks a lot for raising this point here so wonderfully.
Take care!

This post has turned into a religious propaganda!!!!!😡 Some people have a tendency to misinterpret scriptures and brainwash people in the name of Allah.

And why the hell cant one question ill practices. Sati was questioned so will purdah .

Do you even realize that such sexist posts hurt create a negative atmosphere. And I don't believe that alah has advised women not to dress similar to a man. Don't try to use religion as a tool for oppression of women.

I think you misinterpreted the whole whole purpose of this thread.
This thread was meant to have a peaceful discussion on a scene ages back.
By ur username,I believe u r a non-muslim.
Regarding purdah, those who question it,I feel extremely sorry for them.
Which sane person would compare Sati with Purdah?
Sati is where women were forced to die whereas purdah is meant to protect women from the evil eyes.
How come both are similar?

Also, this thread is about the culture of Asad and not the religion of Asad.So it's better you may not bring out religious issues here and create conflicts.

I respect your sentiments and I hope you may respect mine.

Purdah is not a thing to oppress women.
Islamic women follow purdah coz it has been guided to them to do it by our Prophet and is mentioned in Quran[pbuh].I request you not to challenge the traditions of any religion/culture in this forum. We need to maintain the decorum of the forum.
I would request you to atleast respect the traditions and culture of Islam just like Islam respects any other culture.

Regarding your belief of agreeing to acknowledge the fact that Allah has asked women not to wear apparels that resemble men,I can't do anything.
You are free to believe whatever you like.

Please don't think of the negative atmosphere. This thread had a lively discussion in peace and all the forum members were quite mature enough to discuss such a sensitive issue with much peace and understanding at the time it was opened.I'm really hurt to see that you called this post a sexist one. It's really sad.I completely disagree with you and my thread is not a sexist thread, let me make this very much clear to you.

Reading your post I felt as if you were much offended by this thread.I'm sorry if this thread has hurt you in any manner.
I hope I have answered all your points.
Take care!
