i just read the entire story and i have to say it was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!

being a writer myself i usually grade my stories higher ( yes you can call me a narcissist. ) but when i read your story i was like now that's what i call an amazing work!

i've been to hyderabad once when i was in 7th grade and that too it was a school camp, i dont remember much other then salarjung musuem! you have described hyderabad so beautifully and vividly that i felt i was transported to hyderabad and i am actually looking at Asad and Zoya bickering and drinking iraani tea with biscuit!

i had read the prologue many times but i never read the first part cuz back then i had this notion that AsYa live in bhopal so i want to read bhopal but i soon got out of my stupidity and read the first part.

the first part itself blew me away. it was so intriguing... with the 1st part itself you had me under your spell and then i read the rest of the parts and it was just mind blowing!

it is the best story i've come across till now! and i cant wait for the next parts!

PART six

Asad was jogging down pedestrian track adjoining tank bund. Sun rising above the lake presented a picturesque scene. He was relishing the warmth of sun rays when someone came up from behind.

" good morning Mr. Khan... " the chirpy voice belonged to Zoya, his new found friend. He was sure.

"Good morning.. " he greeted her, "aap ne mujhe.. I mean, how did you spot me?"

"Obvious Mr. Khan... I knew you would come up here. Didi says its her fav spot by the lake. kinda guessed you could be here.. "

"Yeah.. the view from here is breathtaking. Hyderabad is a cool place to live. But aksar log apne kaam mein itne busy hothe hai ki notice hi nahi karte.. kuch logon ke paas khud ke pariwar keliye bhi waqt nahi hota.. "

"strange.. I know.. aap yahan roz aate hai?"

"hmm.. yes. " he smiled looking at her.

Her face was glowing in the morning light. Cool breeze caressing their souls, they stood mesmerized at the view. It was half past six, the sun was full orange spreading his hue all over the blue sky.

"Its beautiful Asad... "

He looked at her. She looked beautiful too.

"I mean Mr. Khan.. " she corrected abruptly.

"Aap mujhe Asad keh sakte hai.. "

"aur aap mujhe tum.. "

They share a laugh. Asad was enjoying his new found company. No wonder Zoya was as enjoying as well.

"Sun rises here everyday and everyday you can make a new beginning.. apne past ki galtiyon ko bhulakar ek nayi ummeed ke saath aage badne ka hosla deta hai yeh suraj.. " Asad commented his eyes on the lake.

"Past ko bhulaana itna aasaan nahi hai Asad.. "

He turned and saw her eyes were moist, full of sadness.

"I used to love this city. Enjoy the long drives, morning sun... but that was till Ammi and Abbu were alive.. "

"I'm sorry... " he apologised quickly.

"Don't be.. Its all my fault that even after fifteen long years.. I can't move on.. "

"you can Zoya. In fact you did.. Just look at persons who are wid u.. who love you! Consider yourself lucky.. And be the one you want to be. Insaan tabhi khush hota hai, jab woh yeh banjaayye jo woh banna chahta hai.. "

Zoe was amazed at the softness in his tone, more amazed at how it calmed her down.

"Thank you.. Aage badne ki chahat toh hai.. Bas himmat ki zaroorat thi.. " she smiled.

"Toh kya banne ka iraada hai?"

"Ek clinic khol doon bachon keliye.. Also for women, social work you know. Mera MBBS is shehar keliye kaam aayye.. I'll be glad. "

"You are a doctor... ?" he was slightly amazed.

"Well... yes. "

"From New York?"

"Correct... "

"And you wanna do free service for kids n women here..? "

"pretty much yes... "

He laughed, "wow... some NRI you are! But that's really.. aapka dil sach mein bada hai.. "

Zoe smiled, "Iraada acha hai par.. Sochne mein aur karne mein bahut pharak hai Asad. I dunno where to start.. Pehle mujhe ek achi jagah chahiye. Ek shop or a room.."

"Intezam hojayega.. "

"Par.. tum.. aur.. "

"Its OK zoya. Aap meri nayi naveli dost jo hai.. Aapko jagah miljayega. But promise me, aap mujhe jail nahi bhejengi.. "

"No no.. never! that's really nice of you .."

"Oh its nothing..."

"You're right. Manzil tak pahunchna mushkil toh hoga par use paane ki khushi usse kahi guna zyada hoga.. "

"right.. "

"aap kya banna chahte hai?"

"hmm.. bahut mushkil hai! Dad and Ayaan want me to join business. Par mera Media House hai.. jo losses se ghusarrahi hai. I wanna bring it up. Magazine aur music studio banaana hai.. "

"wow... "

"haan par.. raasta saaf nahi hai Zoya.. "

"I can't believe it! Aap mujhe encourage karte ho par.. khud ko nahi? Acha I'm gonna do it! You will win Asad.. " she patted his back.

"thanks.. " he smiled.

She laughed.

"What?"

"You know how strange it is Asad.. Hum humesha ladte the. Lekin aaj.. ache dost banke ek doosre ki sapnon ke baare mein baatein kar rahe hai.. I think we will be good friends...aage jaake!"

"Galat.. great friends... "

He offered to drop her home. Aaliya joined them mid way, delighted to meet his new friend.

"Bhaijaan is sweet.. Hai na?" she asked and Zoe couldn't help but nod.
She gave her mail id while bading them good bye. Not a good bye exactly. A beautiful journey has just began.

Next Part :

Zoe opens her clinic. Asad joins her in social service. Zoe is thankful for all he has done and is all praise for him. She then urges him to meet bank manager and apply for loan. With Zoe's birthday lined up... things are gonna change☺️😉
Will Asad succeed in his mission? How will this sweet friendship ripen into love??

I loved it to the core.
ASYA finally became friends.
So Zoe wants to treat the poor and Asad wants to save his media house.That's interesting.
