The precap was bold.. A female lead takes initiative to take a step further in the relationship. How ever how will this play out now? How is Preet going to handle the rejection?? What is going to change in their equation now? It's awkward!!!! This can also impact their best friend status, the trust, the comfort, so many unanswered questions for Preet. Will she try to understand him and give him space or be suspicious of his behavior? Whatever the CVs have in mind, it seems interesting and there seems to be a lot of potential to explore on the Rizan revelation story line as well as the emotional roller coaster between Ishaan and Preet. Hope they will not disappoint the viewers!!!!

The precap was indeed bold as per Indian TV standards.. Otherwise most of the female characters say 'Chee' 'Sharam karo' etc etc... 😆 BT is breaking stereotypes set by themselves...The way Preet withdrew her hand... This rejection from Ishaan is going to affect Preet for sure..

Preet is going to be devastated and guilt ridden, thinking it is her fault and maybe her guilt will induce guilt in Rizwaan. Its going to be painful for the both of them. Lets just see what happens.

I think once Preet withdraws herself after having let known Ishaan of her true intentions, now Rizwaan eill realize that he too want the same thing as Preet, now he will realize that he too loves her and wants this relationship to work out as much as Preet. Of course Preet will be devastated after Ishaan's rejection... can you imagine how much it took for Preet to take this first step? She herself has a traumatic past, one that has haunted her throughout.. she fears a man's touch, her own husband's touch.. She knows she loves Ishan but she also thinks Ishan might not give her the same place in his life as kavya's mom.. She had so many doubts about Ishan's feelings, she had this fear buried deep in her mind, the scars of her past still haunting her yet she took the courage to listen to her heart and take that first step of approaching her man and asking him to accept her... Poor Preet, little does she know about the conflict going on in Rizwaan's mind.. That rejection is sure to hurt her, maybe make her feel guilty or even stupid.. She may withdraw herself therby affecting the friendship they share... I hope this stress situation makes Rizwaan realize the mistake he made of turning Preet away from him...

Coming to the main topic, I absolutely loved the scene as it was refreshing to see a female lead speaking in clear words about her desires and not being all shy and coy to express her wish. Its bold yet natural. I am shocked to see that a couple in ekta show actually talks like normal people, share significant convos. Novel indeed! I also think Preet will withdraw herself or feel more awkward after that flat regusal from Rizwan. Dont blame her though. In turn it will make Rizwan more guilt-stricken and confused I supposed. Tough times ahead but an interesting point to explore. Hope the writers deliver.

My thoughts on Friday's episode and the precap:

I feel preet is being a bit contradictory and inconsistent. Just a few episodes back she said that all her fears have been put to rest because there can be no one better than ishaan for her because he is someone who can give up his life for her. Then again in Friday's episode she blurts out the "stuck with you" dialogue. At this point she has already decided in her mind that she wants to take the relationship forward, and now this small incident makes her say "stuck with you" which feels like she doesn't trust/love Ishaan completely yet. Agreed that the darkness scares her due to what she has been through in the last, but at this point I wasn't expecting her to freak when she is with Ishaan in that storeroom.

The other thing is, why does preet want to consummate the marriage? During the karmachauth episode, after Badi maa advised her, she made up her mind to take the relationship forward. Then in the next episode when Ishaan saves her, her decision is strengthened. Even in Friday's episode Badi maa tells her she should fulfill her duty, since Ishaan has also done so. So my question is why preet want to get close to Ishaan? Is it only to fulfill her duty because she feels guilty to not have done so yet? Or does she want to do it because Ishaan saved her , and she feels obligated to do something in return for him? Or is it out of sheer love - like it is in normal couples? Because since epi 1 it's evident that she loves Ishaan. But she never wanted to have a physical relationship with him. So now why the change of heart? How is it that even before Ishaan saved (which led her to feel secure with him) she was ready to get close to him in the karwachauth episode?

Now my take on what you posted as per my comprehension about the situation and the character of Preet.

I am stuck with you was a spur of the moment reaction to get out from this. At times we do say lot of things to our closed ones, be it parents, spouses or best friends without much connotation to it.i dont think that reflects Preet's trust issues with Ishan as she repeatedly voices her feelings saying that I trust you the most and I know you can never break my trust which eventually has become Rizwan's weakness. Though I would surely say that Preet is yet to heal from the trauma of that sexual molestation and thus she freaks out , gets nervous and that forces her to even saying things which might end up upsetting her husband , but thats how her trauma is , still very fresh, oozing blood and darkness just act as catalyst for her and in those moments of fear, she does not even bother about her husband's presence or feelings I suppose. Rizwan understands this somewhere and thats why was trying to make her realise that with fear and the mental block she is carrying, she can never get back to normalcy in true sense. Plus both of their feelings are yet to be communicated in real and thus there is still lot of hesitatation in this relationship which at times gets reflected in actions or words.

Now coming to her wishing to take the relationship forward, no its not obligation, its mix of lot of emotions. Love, desire, sense of insecurity and even trying to find her place in her husband's life, who carries a baggae of love relationship from previous marriage as per her belief. Obligation makes you grateful and its like I have to return the favour. Love or desire does not work like that at all. Badi maa said to her that dont get late expressing your true feelings and desires as it might be too late for the happiness she deserves. That remained with her and as Rizwan keeps distancing himself for his own reasons, her fear of getting too late and the husband becoming indifferent grows stronger I suppose. No only that when Rizwan did not reciprocated in her efforts on that karwa chauth day, she felt insecure too thinking that her husband is already much distant thanks to her unwillingness and now is disinterested.in previous episodes she also admitted that she doubted her husband having extra marital affair as their marriage is incomplete in a sense. Its sense of insecurity about the relationship too, which she treasures and its her only reason for survival. So as she believes that she has done injustice to her husband by not giving his right, she wants to gap the bridge and mend the strained relationship. Plus she does have some genuine feelings for Rizwan and must be a natural way of expressing her love shedding all her inhibitions. Thats what I have understood.but as per precap, if Rizwan ends up refusing her so sternly, I believe it will make her more insecure woth a stronger belief that her husband is yet to move on and she has failed to make her own special place in his heart.
