They got married because of a responsibility... Kavya. Then they got busy with family and business responsibilities. Also Ishaan first only cleared that he cannot forget his first wife and nothing can ever happen between them, thought Preet looked willing to take the next step in their marriage. Toh ab Preet usse zabardasti toh nahi kar sakti.. (Woh agar Neeti hoti toh usne kabka Ishaan ko attack kar diya hota!! Par woh Neeti nahi hai) In any relationship.. Even where partners are physically close, after a while they reach a plateau.. But between IshReet there was never anything physical, thyme just live like roommates. Every accept of a relationship needs to be worked upon. Be it physical or emotional. Ishaan and Preet give everything to the emotional aspect in their relationship, but the physical side remained stagnant.

me thinks over the four years sparks were ignited. Their family knows and in all probability my theory works. That's what I feel.

I really felt strange after narration of story. 4 years is a long time. We have seen many marriages of convenience in shows for example Ram & Priya in Bade Acche Lagte Hain. They fell in love after 6 months and their relation started on a bad note i.e. fight & all. Next in the queue is our most popular Raman & Ishita, They too fell in love after 5-7 months of marriage, indirectly acknowledged it after 10 months of marriage. Their relation had a horrible start, can't with stand each other. These two are from BT itself. One more i remember Punar Vivaah - Yash & Arti. That was also a marriage of convenience, though they started acknowledging their relation after Arti's pregnancy. Yash was also determined that he couldn't give his 1st wife place to anyone. But gradually in 6-10 months of marriage he accepted his love.

Exactly, I remember very well in Episode 2 Ishan told himself that "Preet, jis din tumhe sach ka pata chalega us din tum baki har koi gunah mera maaf kar dogi Preet par iss raaz ko nahi..."

In the montage they look angry I agree. But Promo 1, very 1st, when they check everybody they look at each other, they have a faint smile on their faces.. and In Promo 2, wen family asks them to spend their anniversary, Iqbal was definitely smiling :) Then in 3rd promo, they look distant.. so maybe it can be d course of d show, right now like we're seeing, they do like each other, then what may have caused d distance? maybe preet came to know Ishan's raaz so smthng went wrong between them.. so then maybe family will try to get them back together...
