oh finally..after so many days...

Chapter 3

A whole month has passed but nothing changes between them.They stay apart without a single word exchange between them.It is as if they don't exist for each other.Abhi becomes more and more busy with his office work and his new project.Pia is admitted to the best university of the city.Pia is busy with her studies, classes, playing and taking care of Ri and some household chores.

One day Abhi is at home for breakfast, but still with his Laptop. He was wearing a black shirt with blue jeans,a total casual look.

Mrs.Fernandis: Pia beta, is it paining a lot?

Pia(in a painful voice):No ma..I am ok!

Ri:no mom bhabhi bohat jorse giri thi, aur girke uth vi nahi pa rahi thi,phir maine uthaya unhe.

Pia rolls her eyes at Ri and she keeps quiet.

Mrs. Fernandis:beta ur teeth were bleeding. Tumhe dentist ke paas jana chahiye. Jana kya chahiye tum ja rahi ho!

Pia's face turns white.She says in a frightful voice "nahi mom mai bilkul thik hu.Dentist ke paas jane ki zarurat nahi hai"

Mrs.Fernandis not listening to her daughter in law looks at Abhi.

"Abhi aj Sunday hai aur tum Pia ko le jaoge, no excuses and waha se shopping, Pia keh rahi thi ke she needs something par mai uske sath nahi ja payi, so aj tum yeh dono kam karoge, that's final!"

Abhi(in a disturbed voice):why me? U can take her there or someone else can go with her..

Mrs.Fernandis: mai Ri ke sath uske friend ke ghar ja rahi hu,party mei..maine Ri se promise kia tha ke mai jaungi uske sath varna Ri rona shuru kar degi. And aur koi agar Pia ke saath jayega toh yeh bahana banayegi.

She says looking at Pia, while she looks down.

So Abhi unwillingly has to go with Pia.

They get an appoinment for the afternoon. Pia gets dressed in a pink long top and black jeans, her hair was left open.

They r in the car and by that time Pia's face has sweeled up like a baloon.A strip of cloth is tied around her face from below the chin to the top of her head.Her face is white with fear and she is making a weird noise like "Eee...'" irritating Abhi all the way.

They don't have to wait long and Pia is kind of forced into the doctor's cabin.

Dr.Sen:hello Abhi how r u?

Abhi:hi dr.I am fine, she is the patient.

Dr.Sen:oh! meet u last time at ur wedding.Too bad have to meet u again like this. Let's see what is the problem.

The doctor makes her sit on the chair.

Dr.Sen: her one molar tooth is broken. Need to replace it.

Pia quickly tries to get up and doctor asks Abhi to hold Pia to the chair.Abhi holds her as he could n't refuse the doctor.So the work is done without any further troubles.

In the car,they r off to the mall asthey were ordered to.Pia crying with with the cloth still tied.Abhi is irritated enough,speaks "can u plz take that off? U r not going to the mall like this, and stop crying. Goodness,Ri also never cries like that."

Pia unties it and sobs.

Abhi (in a serious tone):how did u fell? Tum giri kaise?

Pia explains,"woh, main aj subah mom ke sath church gayi thi aur'"

Abhi(still angry tone):tum church mei giri thi?

Pia(innocently):nahi!ghar jaldi aana chahti thi na so Ri ke toy pe slip karke gir gayi.Actually church se aane mei late hi gaya nah'

Abhi(same tone): kis chez ki itni jaldi thi tumhe?

Pia(softly):mera aur Ri ka favourite cartoon aane wala tha na isliye'

Abhi looks at her in disbelief and notices that she is serious!

Abhi did not knew how to react'.
