LOST IN LOVE
Pia woke up with the first ray of sunlight surpassing the French windows across the room making a haphazard pattern over the couple. The fresh morning light was caressing the young couple taking the essense of their love and reflecting their shadow like they are one. She felt a tingling breath over her neck and looked over to find Abhay sleeping peacefully besides her. His right hand encircling her bare waist, his head buried in her neck and holding her shoulders with his left hand . A blush got crept across her neck reminding their passionate encounter last night , Abhay was so gentle and so passionate. He make her feel his pure love even during their love making. She smile looking at him. He is looking like a baby snuggled up to her. How she wish every day will began like this...his arms around her ,their legs entwined. She was already in her dreamland when she felt his arms tightened around her. He opened his eyes and called her name still in half sleep. His voice is so sexy even in sleep she thought. By now he is fully awake and is looking at her lovingly like savouring her each and every feature of her beautiful face . They shared an intense eyelock before Abhay leaned down and gave her a soft kiss
"Good morning love. Did u sleep well" he asked seductively and she blushed
"yup pretty well"
"So should we try it again" he said winking at her and she hit his chest "What ?I m asking u to just let me sleep for a little more time and u r hitting me?"
"I know what u mean by SLEEP now get up we have a lot to explore today"
"Can't we just forget sight seeing. I guess spending our honeymoon in the bedroom only will serve the purpose of honeymooning"
She giggled at his suggestion and moved out of his hold to head towards the bathroom wrapping the sheet around her and shut the door before he could catch her "Abhay go and take shower in the bathroom of other room. I don't want to get late for ur surprises" she shouted from the bathroom
"Why the other one I suppose this bathroom is big enough for both of us. Comeon be an accommodating wife" he said pouting
She giggled and started the shower and Abhay sighed and collected his clothes to go get ready. They had their breakfast prepared by the Italian chefs Abhay has especially hired as he know how much Pia loved Italian. Abhay's love antics could not be stopped for a second. How is he supposed to resist her when she is looking so damn fresh and beautiful. Today she has chosen a pretty black silk sleeveless romper and Abhay was wearing a grey shirt and tight fitted blue denim jeans. The staff secretly admired this new couple. Sure seeing them one can believe that couples are made in heaven
"Abhay where r we heading to?" Pia asked excited as they were driving in their car for the last 30 minutes.
"Just 10 minutes sweetheart why r u so impatient" she sulked and Abhay gave her a dimpled boyish smile. He stopped his car at a deserted spot where all she could see was vast green field around and before she could utter a word he blindfolded her. She just can't understand what he is upto. After a while they reached their destination. Abhay swept her off her feet and carried her upto a place. All she could hear was a loud sound of something swirling around her. He put her down and opened her blindfold. She was astonished seeing a helicopter in front of her and two man ready to greet them with bouques in their hand. Pia was too surprised to say anything.
"Abhay what is all this" she asked still dazed
"Well I guess a helicopter. Why didn't Miss Paris Hilton studied properly during her prenursery" he mocked her and she hit him on his arms "Ouch what's with u and this hitting . Are u enjoying this too much then may be we should head back to our bedroom. I will just surrender myself to u. U can do whatever u want there." She glared at him and he smirked "Ok Ok I have booked this helicopter tour to see Venice from above before actually visiting it. This can help u decide which places u want me to take u and help me decide which places r good enough for our romance without anyone disturbing us"
She laughed and reached over to him and gave him a kiss. Finally they get settled inside the helicopter to began their little journey "Abhay this is a very unusual and levish surprise. By the way where r we exactly" she asked resting her head on his shoulders
"Well we have actually departed from the little airport on the Lido island, between Venice and the sea." The helicopter ride was amazing as it passed right over the heart of Venice, and give them views from above the eastern end of town. With this bird's eye view of the lagoon, islands and sea they get a good overview of Venice's geography. Abhay keep on telling her about the different places stopping their conversation just to kiss her time to time.
They finally get down the helicopter to visit the main city of Venice. Abhay took her directly to one of the most important places of Venice i.e the St. Marks square which has always been the location of important government buildings and other facilities central to the goings on in Venice. They were standing in front of the church
"This is St.Marks Basilica CHURCH OF GOLD" Abhay smiled at Pia and they entered the church hand in hand to take the blessings of god. Pia prayed solemly for the well being of Abhay and their never ending love. Abhay on the other hand wished to fulfil Pia's life with all the happiness in this world and grant him the ability to be able to protect her and their love always. As soon as they reached in front of campanile the bell tower of the church Abhay pulled her close and kissed her deeply. This kiss was nothing like others. It was soft and intense like a symbol of sealing their love in front of god
. 
Abhay insisted on visiting the the Museum of Archaeology; and the Correr Museum although Pia found this quite unromantic but agreed for Abhay's sake. "Look Pia these r the ornaments of a Italian princess..she was one of my friend's grandma" Abhay showed her the necklaces and anklets "I turned him into a vampire. He was devasted by the death of his whole family. The enemies almost butchered him when I came to his rescue and finding no other way to save him, I turned him" Abhay was nostalgic
"I m so sorry Abhay.When did this happened "
"Almost 180 years ago. I m sorry didn't mean to bore u just want to relive my past"
"U miss being a vampire.. don't u?"
"Well honestly I do but now I have u so I know I will soon become used to being an ordinary man" he looked into her eyes and smiled meekly
"U r not ordinary Abhay u will always be special for me. Don't let ur insecurities guide u" she pleaded almost crying thinking that its all her fault and that Abhay might be regretting being with her. Abhay sensed that he has done wrong by showing his emotion. He cupped her face and kissed her moving his lips gently over hers and removing all her confusions. She felt tears slid down her cheeks as he deepened the kiss "I m so sorry babes I didn't mean to hurt u. I was just stupid i m really sorry" he pleaded
"No its just that I don't want u to regret any of ur decision"
"Pia these r the best days of my life. Nothing is ever more important than u. Don't ever think like that Ok. U r everything to me" he kissed her cheeks sucking her tears and she smiled in return and hugged him
"Ok now u have to make it up to me"
"How? Should we go back to our villa" he asked hopefully and she giggled
"Mr. one track mind can't even think beyond it. I m asking u to take me to shopping in one of the most expensive malls here"
"U don't have to ask just order" he bowed in front of her and she grabbed him with his shirt and pulled him for a kiss. After kissing each other for what feels like eternity Pia felt her stomach growl. She pulled away and Abhay laughed
"Looks like before u will bankrupt me, I can at least get something to eat."
"Yeah poor u. Its time for lunch"
They went to one of the most famous restaurants of Italy in the St. Square's itself. "Pia I Figli delle Stelle 's lasanga is very famous should I order that for u" Pia nodded and they ordered some pizza, lasanga and wine. Pia laughed watching the way Abhay is munching his pizza "This is so delicious,Heaven!" he said taking another bite.
"Abhay, can you please stop moaning like that." Pia said looking around uncomfortably. Abhay stopped and burst out laughing.
"What? I m get to taste this human food after centuries of just having that tasteless blood. Can't I even enjoy it or may be u r jealous that something else other than u is making me moan like this" he said innocently sipping his wine and Pia smiled shaking her head. Her Abhay is seriously unbelievable. Rest of the meal passed in a blink with Abhay flirting outrageously with her and Pia enjoying every moment of it sometimes blushing and sometimes smiling thanking the almighty for giving her Abhay.
They finished their lunch and wandered down to Piazza San ,Marco , ofcourse getting lost down various lanes and stopping every once in while for a stolen kiss. Piazza san Marco was the main square in Venice. It was surrounded by restaurants and shops as well as Basillica of San Marco and the Doges Palace. People and pigeons filled the square.
"Oh look someone's getting wedding pictures done." Pia gushed as she pointed towards a newly married couple. "Its so grand." she exclaimed.
Abhay was taken in by her enthusiasm. "Yeah, it's pretty amazing." he said taking in the beautiful buildings and rich history. "Should we get married again" he asked in the flow of emotions
Pia laughed "Mr. raichand its been just 3 days of our marriage and u r planning to have another one. I see u love getting married quite often how many times did u tried it before"
"Only once. But u r right I love getting married and u know what's my favourite part of the wedding" he asked and she nodded her head in no innocently "The wedding night" he whispered in her ears and she blushed . Before Abhay can pull her for anther kiss, Seeing a little girl walk by with gelato, Pia pulled Abhay along to a little icecream shop.
"I'll have a scoop of chocolate, and strawberry please.Abhay what do you want?' she asked. Abhay looked at her huge icecream cone. "I'm not sharing." she said. "Get your own." Abhay laughed and shook his head.
"I'll have a scoop of the butterscotch."
You mean a scoop of the black forest right?" she said licking her lips as she looked at the coffee gelato. Abhay shook his head and laughed.
"I guess I'll have a scoop of the black forest."
Pia licked her icecream and moaned again. "Icecream is the best thing ever invented. . Here let me try the coffee." she said tasting his.
"Yummy, good pick!.May I try yours." Pia looked at him and then her scoop.
"Fine." she pouted.
Abhay laughed. "You're acting like a child, hoarding her sweets."
"So be it." she said. "Let's go." They walked and explored and laughed some more. Stopping off at one of many Venetian mask stores , they picked out little trinkets as gifts for family.
"What do you think of this one?" Pia asked as she picked up a gold and black mask that covered just her eyes.
"I like it." he answered. "You could wear it for me tonight." he said softly.
Pia smiled slowly. "I could."
"Yup, with some sexy lingerie...or not." Abhay added with a big smile.
Pia blushed. "We'll see." she said walking up to the teller and buying the mask.
Their next stoppage was The Giudecca island which was peaceful, different, and has lovely views over the lagoon to the main part of Venice.There are some good benches at the end outside the expensive hotels (Zitelle vaporetto stop) which are almost unoccupied . They sat on one of them that look across to the Ducal Palace and St. Mark's Square.
"This is a great, quiet spot for some moments of togetherness." Abhay said and they started kissing each other like they will never stop
"Abhay this is beautiful . Its like a dream come true"
"If this is a dream I promise we will never wake up" Abhay said nuzzling her neck. They sat there for some more time kissing and cuddling when Pia saw a kid gawking at them. She excused herself from Abhay and moved towards the small cutie pie. Abhay started moving towards Pia when he got stopped by a group of giggling girls. They asked him to take their photograph in front of the river. He wanted to refuse but when he saw Pia glancing at their direction and fuming, he could not help himself to tease her a bit. He flashed his dimples in front of the girls and took their digital camera to take their pictures. The girls insisted to let them take a picture of him with them one by one and he nodded in approval just to make Pia jealous. He could swear he has seen smoke coming out of her ears as those girls leaned towards him to pose for the snap.
"How come a hottie like u is all alone in this city of love" one of the girls who was wearing the shortest outfit flirted fingering his chest over his shirt. Before Abhay could move away Pia pulled him towards her from back and almost shouted
"He is on his honeymoon with his wife. So if u all r done with him please let her wife also discuss some important matters with him" the girls smiled awkwardly and left while Pia move forward without looking at him. Abhay hold her wrist and pulled her into his arms "Leave me Abhay. Why don't u just go catch up with some of ur female fans" she snapped
"But I just want to spent my precious time with my beautiful and sexy wife" he leaned to kiss her but she has moved her head back leaving him to kiss the air
"Let go off me u besharam. How dare u flirted with other girls while u r with me"
"I dared to do so so that I could see this all worked up jealous face of urs which is good enough to turn me on" he smiled at her brilliantly and leaned forward and this time Pia let him kiss her. How could she remain angry with Abhay when he is giving her those breathtaking smiles. Later they had their supper having a more cosmopolitan romantic moment over the rooftop Skyline Bar of the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel at the far end of the island, towards sunset.
Later taking a pleasant stroll they visited the Zattere, The long promenade runs along Venice's southern shore they enjoyed the sunshine, cafes and restaurants and had a romantic dinner at a small restaurant which they discovered together by chance after wandering down quiet lanes and canals, .
"This will be always OUR hotel" he said while munching his noodles. When he didn't got an answer from Pia he looked over as he saw her glaring at a girl who was throwing looks towards him. He smiled at her childishness . He held her hand "Comeon Pia stop this all jealousy drama. U know I m all urs"
"Yeah Mr. Raichand we will see how will u reacting when u will see me flirting with a stranger"
"Pia u r ruining our mood" he said irritated
"I m at fault right and now u r shouting at me" she said in a heavy voice
"Pia when did i..." he asked scolding himself for saddening Pia
"Our honeymoon isn't over and u r already being a meany" she said flipping madly through the menu. "Hmm...Here it is. Lets order this" she said triumphantly. "I am in love with you..." she trailed off looking up at him realising that she is overreacting
"You're right.. I'm really mean" he said looking away from her. Pia smiled and getting up she went and sat on Abhay's lap taking him by surpise.Winding her arms around his neck she whispered against his ear.
"Te Amo" Abhay smiled as she kissed him softly hearing whistles and cheers coming from the people around them. "I love you." she whispered against his neck. "Hum Apse bohut ziyada pyar karte hain" she said against his lips and "Hoo thunay prem karoo choo" she said hugging him tightly. Abhay smiled and hugged her tightly back. "I never thought I even believed in that all consuming type of love until I fell in love with you.That's when I learned that it did exist and only certain people are fortunate enough to experience it."
"I am one of those lucky people" he said softly, looking into her tear filled eyes.
"You make me so happy Abhay" she whispered. "I don't even remember life without you now and nor do I want to.All my days...my yesterdays, todays and tomorrows are all yours." she said softly cupping his face with her hand. Abhay kissed her palm.
"Can I get you something else sir?" the waiter asked breaking their romantic moment.
"No, I think I have everything I could ever want" Abhay said still looking at Pia.
"Excuse me sir" the waiter said.
"Sorry, just the bill please." Abhay replied still staring at his beautiful wife. How did he get so damn lucky.
They finally returned to their villa all exhausted. They slept in each others arms feeling happy that tomorrow they will wake up together.
The next few days were spent doing a lot of the same. Abhay and Pia made love every chance they got and in between they fit in sight seeing. .. . The second night there, they took a long moonlit gondola ride in which they were so engrossed in each other they barely noticed anything else. The gondola driver singing a pretty ballad for the young romantic couple Long delicious romantic meals consisting of different foods and delicacies that sometimes they'd never even heard of but were always willing to try They spent hours in little cafes, drinking cappuccinos or wine and eating yummy Italian pastries and talking and people watching and kissing which would lead to touching which would lead to them rushing back to their villa. Venice is filled with lanes along canals going every which way, half the fun for them was getting lost and coming across something completely new. They spent a lot of time on their private beach relaxing and making love of course. Abhay's undying desire for her has left her speechless at times. He was always like a man on mission. They have experienced love in its most wild, paralyzing and sweetest form. Life was perfect Pia thought to herself as she drifted off to sleep in Abhay's arms on their 4th night. She didn't even want to think about leaving this beautiful place where it was just her and Abhay and their love.
On the 10 th day of their stay in Italy Abhay and Pia walked out hand in hand and waited at the ferry stop "Where are we going?" Pia asked.
"You'll see." he said with a smile, kissing her hand. Before Pia could ask anymore questions the ferry came and Abhay helped her on. It dropped them off close to the train station.
"We're taking a train somewhere."
"Yes, we're going to Verona." Abhay said with a smile.
"Verona!!" Pia said excitedly. "As in Romeo and Juliet Verona????" she asked practically jumping up and down. Abhay laughed at her excitement.
"Yes, that Verona." As they boarded the train and found seats Pia leaned in and kissed Abhay
"Thank you," she said softly putting her head on his shoulder.
"You are welcome." he said. As they traveled, Pia received a phone call from her sisters they were asking about their trip and teasing her. Even Abhay talked with Misha for sometime answering her every query and dotching her teasers, Pia smiled to herself seeing the way life has changed. The train ride took just over an hour and as they stepped off the train Pia was instantly transferred back to her college days when she had read Romeo and Juilet for the first time and even performed as Juliet with Abhay as her romeo
"You know I've read Romeo and Juliet probably about 50 times?" she said looking around with a smile. "I can recite it from memory now."
"Sounds like you. I can still remember each and every scene we have performed together during rehearsals when I got lost in u and recite my dialogues with full emotions without any effort and I also remember the way u used to forget ur dialogues by merely looking into my eyes " Abhay said taking her hand and Pia laughed
"Old days" she sighed
"Everything has changed now right and I have also become romantic now. Ain't I?"
"I know what a romantic you are. I've just stepped off the train, barely in the city and I can feel the romance in this city already." she said happily. As they left the train station and made their may into Piazza del Signori, the central square, Abhay pulled out a piece of paper. Looking it over, he smiled.
"We can do whatever you like here, there's lots to see and take in but there is one stop we must make." Pia gave him a questioning look.
"Okay." she said. They walked for a while taking in the sights and sounds. "
Abhay stopped to ask someone about something and nodding returned to Pia. "We're not far." he said as they started walking again. Soon they turned down a side lane and Pia stopped. There infront of her was the famous balcony from Romeo and Juliet. Her eyes filled with tears, as she remembered the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet.

" I can't believe I'm really here." she said as she stood infront of the balcony. Abhay smiled.
"Do you want me to pinch you?" he asked.
"No, kiss me." she said turning to him.
"I can do that" he said with a soft smile giving her a kiss as they stood under the famous balcony. Pia looked around at all the people. Young people sitting and writing notes on little pieces of paper. Some crying. "Do you want to go inside Juliet's house?" Abhay asked. Pia nodded, as they walked in she was taken aback by the frescoes, and paintings, the genuine antiques that sat throughout the house.
"Amazing." she said. They spent some time exploring and as they left Pia grabbed a pen and paper from her bag and scribbled down a little note.
"What did you write?" Abhay asked.
"I wrote a wish, a wish for us to always be as happy, as we are right now.And that I love my Romeo." she said leaning her head against his shoulder. She looked up and Abhay gave her another soft kiss.
"Are you ready to leave then Juliet?" he teased. One last look around and Pia nodded yes
"However I love romeo and Juliet I m really happy that our story didn't end like them"
They made their way to the famous Ponte Scaligero bridge for a beautiful view of the city. Leisurely taking photos and cuddling and kissing as they looked out at the beauty of the city. Next they stopped off at the Castelvecchio, named the Old Castle. Pia loved castles, the history and sheer magnitude of them always overwhelmed her. And she learned that Abhay felt similarly to her. .. It completely turned her on when he said something out of the box or had her look at something in a way she hadn't even thought of. "I love you." she said as they made their way out of the castle.
"I love you too babe." he said smiling as she swung their arms happily. They made one last stop, back to the Piazza del Signori, the central square. Grabbing some water they wandered through some more shops, and listened to some musicians playing near by. They finally returned to Venice spent some more days over there exploring each and every corner of the city. They even stayed in Rome for 5 days roaming across scores of beautiful romantic lane, restaurants and parks and Abhay enjoyed wandering among the ruins of Ancient Rome, the winding lanes of Medieval Rome and admiring the palazzi and fountains of Renaissance Rome.
On the 15th day of their honeymoon Pia stared out at the blue blue sea infront of her and thought, We're in paradise. This had to be paradise, it was so beautiful, so perfect she thought They had just arrived in Hawaii islands which is more of a fairyland than reality covered with white sand beaches, lush forests, volcanoes, and dramatic coastlines.
"I've always wanted to come here." Abhay said as he gazed out at the sandy beaches infront of them. "So when we decided on Venice I thought this would be a perfect way to extend our trip. "
"I love it." Pia said as her gaze moved over the cliffs and hillsides that made up the islands.
"I know, so do I" Abhay said squeezing her hand.
They trekked back down to the main strip. Eveerything was built along the cliffs they had to pretty much hike to get anywhere. But they were not complaining becoz it just meant they would take more kissing breaks along the way.
"Abhay can you please put sunscreen on my back." Pia said sitting up.
Abhay smiled wickedly. "I can put it on your front too." he said.
"No thanks" Pia said shaking her head. "Just the back will do fine."
They were laying on the sand beach, relaxing.Abhay kneeled down next to Pia and kissed the back of her neck. Pia held out the sunscreen and he slowly took it, kissing the other side of her neck. "Abhay!" Pia said. "Sunscreen please!"
"Yes Maam." he said kissing the center of her back where her bikini tied together. Hearing Pia's sudden intake of breath, Abhay smiled. He lathered his hands with sunscreen and started massaging it onto her back.
"Are we going scuba diving or snorkeling today?" Pia asked.
"Scuba diving." Abhay replied kissing her neck again.
"Are you done?" Pia asked.
"If you're talking about the sunscreen, then yes I'm done. If you're talking about wanting to make love again.Well you obvoiusly know the answer to that.I wonder if there's a private place around here." Pia stared at him, her mouth open.
"Besharm Raichand! Please behave.I am not going to any private place with you.We're going scuba diving now.I thought after last night you would have been satisfied." Abhay grinned.
"You should know I am never satisfied when it comes to you." I"'m always wanting more." he said huskily as he leaned down and kissed her. As they broke off the kiss Pia felt breathless. Maybe a private place wouldn't be so bad she thought to herself. Pia stop it you're getting worse then Abhay she thought as she looked up at Abhay.
"We're going scuba diving!" she said. Almost as much to herself as Abhay. The rest of the days went by in a blink as They spent lots of time in the water, trying different water sport like scuba diving, jet skiing, and even surfing of course doing lots of kissing and love making. The water sports were much harder then they looked. Pia was horrible at it, but Abhay was a pro in everything he do. His vampiric perfectness is still there inspite of losing the powers. Abhay help her in everything she do taking advantage of every situation. They also spent a lot of time walking through the different islands, exploring, buying little things for their home or for their families. They tried different foods and Abhay fell in love with a particular pizza place. He started going every day . They would also have long leisurely dinners and listen to musicians playing lively music. Sometimes people would dance and Pia and Abhay would join in laughing. They explored every inch of the island on foot Stopping at picturesque points to take pictures. They also spent lots of time on the beach, relaxing, sleeping. Because they definitely weren't sleeping at night.
Much too soon their holiday ended and it was time to go home. As Pia packed, she looked outside at the pretty garden, and at the beautiful view. "I don't want to go back." she said as Abhay came along and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"I know, me either"
"This trip has been just amazing.The most amazing trip I've ever taken.i loved every minute of the last 1 month." Pia said as she felt her head suddenly whirling and her grip on Abhay losened
"What happened Pia? Are you ok? " he grabbed her tightly trying to hold her still
Pia couldn't keep her head straight and felt nauseated. She ran to the washroom and vomited. When she came back she felt weak and dizzy.
"Pia, are you ok my love?" he hugged her and caressed her back. He was genuinely worried. "I told you not to eat the pizza so late at night, you'll get digestion problem" he was telling her while still hugging her tightly.
"Abhay i feel so week. I need to sit down." Abhay took her to the bed, and laid her down on the bed.
Her body was turning cold so he turned the fan off and put a blanket on her.
"Pia, let me call the doctor" he picked up the phone and called the doctor mentioned in the hotel manual and asked him to come quickly as it was an emergency.
Dr. came within half an hour, and in the mean time he had given Pia some milk and bread. She was feeling a little better but still very week. Doctor checked her and gave her some Vitamins.
"What happened to Pia doctor? Is she ok ?" Abhay asked holding her hand
"Its not the time to get worried Mr. Raichand.Its time for celebration. U r going to be a father soon congratulations" Abhay and Pia remained still for some time unable to react. Abhay silently took the medical prescription from the doctor and the doctor left. He can see Pia's eyes r filling up and he himself can't stop the tears flowing through his cheeks. He hugged Pia passionately "No Pia don't cry. This is the happiest moment of our life'
"This is a gr8 feeling" she separated from Abhay and touched her stomach. Abhay also bend down and kissed it.
"Thank you Pia. Thank you for completing my life. I'm the happiest man in the world today. This is the dream I never even dared to think about. I promise my baby will get all the love of his daddy" and he leaned down and kissed Pia
Pia smiled and closed her eyes to Thank God for this beautiful day. Within a month, she had been blessed with so much that she doubted if all her happiness had been given to her now and nothing left for later. But little did she know that this is just the beginning of their fairy tale
