TOI: Vahbiz feels lucky to be an actor!

TV Actress Vahbbiz Dorabjee who is currently seen as Panchi in Ekta Kapoor's Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani on Star One always wanted to be a model and was quite ardent to turn her passion for modeling into her profession.

When she was in school she used to say 'I want to be a model' when all others said, doctor, engineer, designer, etc. But destiny had other plans for her. After winning the title of Miss Pune, she did a few advertisements and was quite happy the way things were shaping up. She was quite sure of modeling but never knew that one thing will lead to another and she will land up acting in a serial. Acting was never on her agenda though she always used to participate in dramas in school and college days. It's only later she realized her passion for acting.

She did three short films with Subhash Ghai's academy Whistling Woods. She is happy to be an actor and fortunately she can also pursue her passion of modeling side by side. "I had never thought I will become an actress but destiny had plans for me. I got Pyar Ki Ek kahani and I thank my stars. This show has given me quiet a lot of name and fame. I am quiet happy with the way career is shaping up," says Vabbhiz.
