I agree with you but i also says that there was not much that you can pick out from that scene other than the similarity and deep love from Abhay's side. 😊

@ bold i think you have missed my whole point, please read my topic again!😳

i haven't said that the scene between Abhay and Maithli was vulgar or was wrong, have i?!, in fact i LOVED it, it was passionate in a subtle way, hell i wouldn't have mind it, even if it was a bit steamy!😆 moreover i drooled over it😳

my point is, i hope they are married, i hope they didn't make love without getting married first thats all!

because they have showed us that what Abhay had for Miathli was true love, hence if they are not married then i feel it will be wrong to associate that what they did was of love!

@ blue, are you kidding me!, he was shirtless and she was in silk night robe or pajama! and what she said and he said to her were clear that they have slept together! and that it was the morning after!

i hope you are catching my drift

Wow, you took the words right out of my mouth. I thought the EXACT same thing when I saw the scene. What kinds of things are the creatives preaching? Just because your love is "pure," you can sleep with one another before marriage? What about our values and traditions? Scenes like this promote this type of behaviour in the young youth that follow this show. I have been born and raised in Canada so most would assume that these types of activities are part of the norm here, but never have I forgotten my values or been tempted to cross such limits. I really really really hope that according to the storyline, Maithli-Abhay eloped and got MARRIED!

shivani thank for your in put, and i respect your point of view

@ blue, i beg to differ with you, its not high everywhere, teenage pregnancy is less in conservative countries who follow certain rules of morality, to an extent that its not even noticeable.

teenage pregnancy is only high in those nations that encourage sleeping around and take it lightly!, i dont know about India but i am from Oman and i know most of Arabic and Islamic countries have the less rate on having illegitimate kids, and why is that ?because in our religion premarital sex considered as a huge sin.

i am not saying we don't have people who don't follow the rules , yes there are Muslim girls and boys who indulge in these activities, but compared to other more open cultures, what we have can not come even 5% of what they have!, and that says something doesn't it?!

@ brown i am not judging anyone! but dear our deeds are a part of our morals too, its a package so what one does in the bed room is a part of it too, hence if one lose their purity its like they lost apart of their morality, maybe not all but still a part of it!

i believe love never is selfish, nor immoral, if two people love each other they can wait till they are bonded in a scared bond like marriage,

other wise it will be total chaos, as anyone will sleep with anyone whom they think they love or fancy! and thats whats happening in more modernized countries!..and it has consequences, more teenage pregnancy, more abortions, more illegitimate children and more STD!

however my topic wasn't about all this, it was more about what media is doing by associating true love with premarital sex!, hence making it more appealing especially to under-aged, and that is totally wrong!

i hope i didn't offfended you in anyways 😊

Oh I respect ur views very much and I like that u opened this topic. It needs to be discussed especially for young girls. Hmmm though teenage preggie rates are high here I wouldnt say sleeping around is promoted here... And what Iam trying to say is that ppl who do indulge in it probably feel like their love will grow more if they do it and yes perhaps it is due to the candy floss crap that is shown in movies. Young girls who have a bright future ahead of them and have barely any committment whatsoever should not consider such a big step. Theres a large proportion of ppl who do end up regretting it.
Yea personally I believe its not wise to indulge in premarital sex cos it can have more cons than pros..... but ummmm well Iam not sure if morals are reduced because of it? Perhaps that depends on the perspective of the culture u grow up in na? Of course amongst us Indians as well as Muslims and also Christians its strongly looked down upon. And yes I agree it is more pure to abstain and wait till after marriageSmile
And I get what ur trying to say... that the media hypes/glorifies this stuff so much that young girls can get the wrong idea about it being almost a norm which is certainly unacceptible. Once again lovely topic and I like that ur open to everyones viewsSmile

@ bold exactly!, its like they are giving a new meaning twisted meaning to pure or true love!

@ 👏 thats exactly how it should be!.. i mean it doesn't matter where we live or where we go we should never forget the values, sadly some people imitate others and forget their own identity!

@ brown i am hoping that too i hope EK won't fail us, lets wait and watch!😊

do you mean the scene of Abhay and Maithli? or the fact that they might not be married?!

if you meant the scene, i found it very beautifully shot, there was nothing vulgar in it dear!, it was passionate but in a subtle way! i loved it, i drooled over it😆

my point is, i hope they have got married before they have slept together, because so far we have seen Abhay madly in love with her to an extent that he sacrificed his life for her, as he said, so the most decent way to project their true love is by showing that they were legally married, so there will be no wrong message sent!
