Abhay walked into the house and as soon as he stepped in, he saw his Mom and Dad waiting for him- sitting quietly on the red satin couch , Haseena's diamonds glittering in the dim lights. Abhay shot them a look and not giving a damn , he ascended towards the stair case , taking off his jacket. His father stood up.

Chand ' Abhay.

Abhay stopped at the staircase , gripping the railing but did not turn around. Haseena also got up and joined her husband.

Abhay ( in a low growl)- I did what I was told to do. I am tired now. I need some sleep'( calls out )' Johnny! ' Johnny!

The servant comes scurrying to Abhay.

Johnny ' Yes , Sir.

Abhay- Did you change the bed sheets of my room?... That lady guest had slept in them.

Johnny ( nods)- Yes, Sir. I did. I threw the sheets used by her as per your orders.

Abhay 'Hmm' good. Leave.

Johnny does an about turn and goes off, disappearing into a dark hallway.

Haseena ( tilts her head )- Not done, son. I thought you'd like to sleep in those sheets. They have Piya's fragrance.

Abhay ( glares at her )- Why don't you decide for once and all what you want me to do? Hate Piya or sing songs of never ending love with her'.And by the way, may I know what gifts you have been showering on her?

Haseena ( shrugs her shoulders )- Nothing. I just tried to make her feel nice.. the poor kid was so terrified'. Of you.

Chand ( smiles)- That is good. If she is terrified of Abhay , she will always stay away from him. ' am I right, Abhay?

Abhay ( raising his eye brow )- If she doesn't hate me , then, I don't think I will be responsible for her doom'..and I won't care even if she died'.she is not Maithli.

Haseena ' You still love her ?

Abhay ( looks upset )- None of your business'. ( looks at them sharply)' and stop trying to be my parents. You understand the meaning of that , don't you?

Haseena and Chand look at him angrily and Abhay goes off to his room'.

Piya was standing in front of the mirror as Maya slept peacefully in her bed. Piya's face was flushed red and her eyes swollen from crying. Piya could not get the sight and feel of Abhay kissing her cheek out of her mind and she looked very upset.

Piya touched her cheek where Abhay had kissed her and she felt her cheek still warm.

Piya ( sobbing )- I should have slapped him across his freaking face but I didn't! Instead , I came running in like some babe in the woods'..why couldn't I do anything! Why didn't I do anything?

She sits down on her bed and wipes her tears.

Piya ' How am I going to face him tomorrow in college? 'He is going to laugh in my face and I can already see that signature smirk on his face'..

Maya gets up and notices that Piya is crying and sitting curled up in a corner and rushes to her.

Maya ( kindly )- Piya! ' Piya, why are you crying? What happened? When did you come? Piya? Piya?

Piya ( wiping her tears )- Nothing, Maya. It's nothing' just .. just a little sad. Am fine. Go and sleep.

Maya suddenly puckers her nose up.

Maya ' Piya?... What'. What perfume are you wearing?... it is' it is driving me dizzy.

Piya looks at Maya and then, smells herself.

Flash : Abhay pulling Piya into his arms .

Abhay. It was Abhay's fragrance that was on her.

Piya ( gets up)- I am going in for a bath'..go to sleep. We have an early lecture tomorrow'.

Before Maya can ask anything further , Piya picks up a towel and disappears into the washroom. As soon as Piya disappears, Maya slaps her forehead.

Maya ( worried )- Abhay! That is Abhay's fragrance ! '. Oh no.. that means Piya was with Abhay! '.this is bad news. BAD NEWS!

Just then, Maya spots the black gift box and she immediately opens it. She pulls out a dress ' a green linen dress and Maya stands stunned.

Flash: Maithli running in the fields wearing that dress and screaming at a mischievous Abhay to find her.

Maya ( horrified )- How the hell did Piya get this dress?????????? There is no way Abhay could have given it to her! ' He is going to kill her if he sees her in this dress'.what should I do now!

Maya stuffs the dress back into the giftbox and looks at the moon ' a storm rising in her eyes'.

Pocoooo!!! Awesome!!! Wow!! Abhay is living in denial as usual😆

Abhay n Piya can't even stand each other fragrance..
I'm happy atleast somewhere Abhay shouts @his parents.. Oowowo..the last part was mysterious..can't wait to find out.. why wuld Haseena give her Maithili's dress..
