Misha looks up at the gorgeous man and makes a bratty face.

Misha ( narrowing her eyebrows)- Are you making fun of me?

Boy ( smiles )- No. I am genuinely offering help, young lady.

Misha ( tilts her head )- In that case , pick up the books , dude because Misha Dobriyal can take care of herself.

The boy nods and picks up her books as rest of the boys watch.

Misha ( taking a good look at them )- Who are you all, by the way? I don't think you guys belong in this college.

Boy ( giving her the books )- We do, Miss. Dobriyal. Migration students. I mean , we have migrated from some other branch of this university'..Psychology Honours '. 2^nd year'.

Misha ' Oh, I see'. So , you fell in love with the architecture of Mount College or what? That you had to migrate like Penguins?

Boy ( laughs )- No, Miss. We don't fall in love with non-living things.

Misha ( smiles )- Witty! I think we will get along' ( gives out her hand)'.you are lucky that THE Misha Dobriyal is offering you her hand in friendship.

Boy ( shakes her hand)- Sambhav Jibraan '..so, friends we are!... ( introduces the rest)' this is Bikram , Ruhaan and Jack'.

They all smile at her and Misha shakes hands with them. At that moment , Abhay appears and he sees Misha laughing with the group'.

Misha ( to Sambhav)- Sambhav is a nice name but it is too desi for me'. So'.yeah! Sam will do. What say?

Abhay looks at Sambhav and their eyes meet . Sambhav winks at him and Abhay clenches his fists in anger.

Sambhav ' Sam, it is'.

Misha( picking her bag)- Coolness! Gotta go , dude. See you around.

Misha trots off and Abhay approaches the gang. They all straighten up.

Abhay ( with a dark smile )- So, finally! You sure can't live without me, Sam, can you?

Sambhav ( chuckles )- Sure , man. Having chasing you for over a 100 years , I sure have fallen in love with you, Abhay'..( gets mean)'. Like Maithli fell and now, I have heard some woman is driving you crazy'..

Abhay shoots him a glare and is about to pounce on him , when he sees Piya walking towards them with Pancchi. Sambhav notices that Abhay is looking beyond him and he turns to look at the object of his attention. As soon as Sambhav turns around , his eyes go wide in shock and he appears frozen as does his gang'..

Jack ( his eyes stunned )- M-Maithli'..

Sambhav ( shakes his head )- That cannot be Maithli! She is with us'.who the hell is this!

Abhay ( turning Sambhav's head towards him with a jerk)- Exactly! That is not Maithli! She is Piya Jaiswal' a living stupid moronic human-being who is Maithli's doppelganger !

Piya is conscious of all those men looking at her wide eyed and Abhay looking away. She checks herself to see if something is wrong with her. And then, hurries away wondering what is wrong with all these men'..

Bikram ( aggressively )- Sam! Are you sure that Maithli is still'

Sambhav ( raising his hand )- I know what am talking about, Bikram. Abhay is right. That chick is Maithli's doppelganger''

Abhay ( furiously )- Don't CHICK her Sam! You won't be an all that scary werewolf if you lose your teeth.

Sambhav ( smiles )- Aha'. Possessive, huh? Abhay, my man' ( holds him by his shoulders )'. That is not Maithli '. Or are you developing a soft corner for this curly head?

Abhay ( turns away)- Buzz off, Sam! You know that I will always love Maithli'.

Jack ( teasingly )- No point, Abhay. Wait another 500 years , Abhay but Maithli is lost '..you chose to save your clan and sacrifice Maithli. So, what true love are you harping about ?

Abhay grabs Jack and almost stuffs him into a wall and nobody from the human crowd notices.

Abhay ( hurt and disgusted )- I did not sacrifice her,. Jack! You and your whole breed betrayed me. And trust me , the day I find Maithli , your whole pack of wolves is going to fall like a pack of cards'.

Sam( jerking Abhay away from Jack who can hardly breathe )- Stop it, Abhay! To find Maithli , you need to find the Witch's Compass! And that is so NOT going to happen.

Abhay ( glares at Sam)- It will happen, Sam! I am close to it'..till then, you and your chums enjoy your stay at Mount College!

With this Abhay storms off. The gang looks behind him'..

Ruhaan ( worried )- Sambhav, nothing has changed. His yearning for Maithli is the same'..

Sam ( smiles darkly )- This yearning is our trump card. Ruhaan'.what we should be fearing is that curly head'. A doppelganger of Maithli is a terrible news. We have to find out who she is , dude'..didn't you sense the heat between Abhay and her when she passed by? We are animals and nobody knows the chemistry of genders better than us!

Jack- But Abhay hates Piya!

Sam ' No, he doesn't. I have chased Abhay for more than 100 years and nothing can unsettle him except an unsettled heart''he has a connection with Piya'.can't you just smell it?

Kabir is standing outside the accounts office when Anushka comes out , stuffing the receipt into her bag. She spots Kabir standing at the door, lost in his thoughts.

Anushka ( tapping Kabir on the shoulders )- Kabir?

Kabir ( breaking out of his thoughts )- Oh'.are you done?

Anushka ( smiles )- Yes, but what are you doing here? I thought you had gone by now.

Kabir ( shakes his head )- No, nothing. I thought you might need help with the faculty and stuff. So, I stayed back.

Anushka ( smiles )- Oh wow! That is so so so sweet of you, Kabir. Thank you.

Kabir looks at her in disbelief.

Anushka ' What? Did I say something wrong?

Kabir ( looks at her )- Do you mind if I ask you something?

Anushka ' As long as your question is decent , go ahead. Why not?

Kabir ' Who is Abhay? I mean , are you related to him?

Anushka ( nods )- Yes'. I am related to him' I am his sister.

Kabir is stunned.

Kabir ' His sister??????????????.... No way! You are not arrogant or harsh like him. You don't turn black into some kind of a fashion statement and there is nothing weird about you.

Anushka blinks her eyes at him and Kabir realizes what he has just said.

Anushka ( laughs )- I think you all need to stop thinking about Abhay and concentrate on me ' the nicer sibling.

Kabir ( holds his ear )- Oucch! I said all that about your brother. I am so sorry, Anushka.

Anushka ( seriously )- Don't be. I don't blame you all. Abhay doesn't like people. I think it's best if you all stop paying attention to him' he just likes to be left alone.

Kabir ( nods )- Hmmm'. He sure is weird. I mean you should see how your brother treats Piya'. That lovely girl with charcoal curls? He hates the sight of her.

Anushka ( turning away )- It may sound stupid, Kabir'. But it is for the betterment of Piya'

Kabir ' What do you mean?

Anushka smiles quickly and shows him her wrist watch'.

Anushka ' Time to go visit the faculty, Kabir. Won't you show me the way?

Kabir nods at her suspiciously and shows her the way. And as they both disappear in the building , T eyes them angrily.

T ' Kabir and Anushka? Piya's boyfriend and Abhay's sister'. Hmmm' time for some fun, Lady T!

Piya enters the gates of the Raichand Mansion holding Maya's hand and it is about 11 in the night. Maya looks terrified and even Piya looks a little scared.

Maya ( pleads )- Don't be silly, Piya. Let's go back. You have literally dragged me to this place. I don't want to mess around with the Raichands.

Piya ( aggressively )- Shut up, Maya! I cannot see you suffer everyday and cry your nights into pillows, okay? '.High time, Abhay took up the responsibility of you and your baby. Come along!

Maya ( helplessly)- But Piya!

Piya doesn't listen to anything and drags Maya to the mansion. She rings the doorbell and after a few seconds , a butler comes and opens the door.

Butler ( holding up a lamp)- You? You are Abhay Sir's college mate , aren't you?

Piya ' Yes! We are here to see Mrs. & Mr.Raichand . It is urgent.

Butler ' But'

Piya ( barging in)- No buts! We want to see them and unless you call them , we are not going anywhere.

Maya ( quieting her )- Sssshhh'. Piya! Don't scream in this house. Abhay hates loud sounds!

Piya ( jerking her hand away)- You are still thinking about what Abhay likes and what he doesn't?

Butler ( going up the staircase )- Hold on , madam. I will just go and inform that you are here.

The butler goes up and disappears into the dark.

Maya ( flustered )- Piya! This is not needed' I am weak, I know but I can handle this. Let's get out of here.

Piya ' No !

Just then, Abhay appears at the top of the staircase, his hands in the pockets of his black silk pajamas.

Abhay ( looking down )- Piya Jaiswal!.... I think you are on the wrong address. You should have gone to some zoo '.suits your irritating voice and your uncivilized behaviour'.(stepping down )'. And may I know what wind blew you in here?

Piya ( crossing her arms across her chest)- The same wind that will blow you out of this house! '.Where are your parents? I want to speak to them' ( holds Maya's hand)'. For Maya's sake.

Abhay comes down and leans on the railing , observing Piya while Maya shakes her head at him in apology and steps back.

Abhay ( staring at Piya )- Mom-Dad sensed that some wild animal by the name of Piya Jaiswal is going to barge into their house, so they went out for an evening walk'and I am dying to know that what is this Justice-To-Maya-Obsession with you? Why don't you just mind your own business?

Piya ( steps towards him)- Maya is my business! She is my friend and you are ruining her life.

Abhay ( looks back at Maya )- Maya, darling'. Am I ruining your life?

Maya ( not knowing what to say )- Abhay, I'

Piya ( furiously )- Don't you dare darling her!

Abhay turns his eyes at Piya and a dark smile creeps across his face as he rubs his chin naughtily with his thumb'.

Abhay ( shamelessly)- Then?.... What should I do, not-so-sweet-seventeen? Darling you?

Piya ( make a face )- Stop being disgusting, Abhay!

Abhay ' What is so disgusting about it, Piya? I mean, what else are you expecting from a womanizer like me? '.That's what I am' right, Maya?

Maya doesn't know where to look.

Piya ( coming on to Abhay )- Why are you talking to Maya, Abhay? Talk to me!

Abhay ( looks at her tenderly)- But I don't know how to talk to animals, Miss. Jaiswal.

Maya just shakes her head and turning on her heels runs out of the mansion. Piya is so furious that she doesn't even notice that Maya has run away in tears.

Piya ( furious)- ANIMAL? I am an animal?

Abhay ( looking bored )- Okay, you are not an animal. You are a woman '.oops' a young nave girl. So, young lady , what are you doing at a man's house, all alone with him nearing the middle of the night?

Piya ( disgusted)- What else can a low life like you think? I am not interested in you!

Abhay comes closer and gently runs his fingers down her hair and Piya feels the hair at the back of her neck stand up'.

Abhay ( whispers in her ear)- You should think of some better and hotter excuses to see me, Piya'.this 'not-so-interested' stuff is just not working anymore.

Piya feels her heart coming to her mouth as Abhay holds her wrist and sensuously runs his forefinger over her pulse'

Abhay ( softly )- You need to control your pulse rate , Piya' your blood is going to spurt out of your veins any moment'.

Piya flinches and moves away.

Piya ( looking away catching her breath)- Abhay Raichand. I give you two days' time. Accept Maya and your baby or else' I give you in police'

Abhay ( smiles )- Be my guest'..

Piya doesn't look back at Abhay and keeping a hand on her heart , she quickly gets out of the house and finds tears rolling down her cheeks'..

Abhay walks back into the darkness with absolutely no expression on his face'.
