Haseena, Chand, Maya, Anushka are gathered around a fireplace deep in the woods in the middle of the night. They all are wearing black hoods and holding hands. Haseena looks very angry. Anushka is looking back into the woods again and again….
Haseena (furious)- Where is Abhay? He was to bring the rest of our kin here. This ritual is incomplete without him and it is for his benefit!
Chand ( looking into the fire )- Piya…. It's Piya who must have kept him away….just like Maithli did!
Haseena ( her eyes glow with flames )- NO! Abhay is ours! What Maithli couldn't do , how do you think this Piya can?.....The moon and the constellation are in our favour… Abhay must get here….
They all nod and then, closing their eyes, they concentrate…..
All of them ( in whispers)- Abhay…….Abhay…..come soon…. Abhay…….
The voices shoot through the jungle and reach Abhay's ears who is just getting into his car. He turns around and the voices echo with his name….Abhay leaves the car and we see him zoom through the forest.
As the clan open their eyes, Abhay is in front of them with at least 10 people behind him – all of them shrouded in black. Abhay's brilliant skin stands out in the moonlight as his pupils go a disturbing purple….
Maya ( darkly)- Right outside Mount College. That is where you were , weren't you?
Chand – We saw you. Piya?
Abhay ( fiercely )- Why don't you ask this so-called mother of mine? She gave Maithli's clothes to Piya ! And I want to know why! …..Do you want me to kill Piya someday in rage?
Haseena ( extending her hands towards Abhay)- You are too precious to lose, Abhay. And this is no time to discuss your love life…..come.
Abhay makes a sour face at Haseena but Anushka nods at him and Abhay relaxes. He takes Haseena's hand and they all raise their hands to the sky…The fire burns higher – the flames leaping to the sky.
Haseena ( looking up )- Summoning the dark…..we the creatures of dark seek refuge! Powers unite and join our blood…..so that we spare human kind!
Abhay ( closing his eyes )- Kindness to our veins!
A storm builds up in the woods and we see rays of white light shooting from all corners of the woods right into the bodies of the group. They don't move as the rays merge into their still bodies. The storm stops and everything goes silent. The flames also begin to die down…..
They open their eyes and look at each-other.
Chand – This is what saves us from eating up mankind! …. And you make it possible, Abhay….
Haseena – You are the chosen one, Abhay. You stand between us and the human-beings. So, if you don't want us to suck blood out of the towners…..( lovingly pats his head)… stay with us.
Abhay just glares at her. Just then, they all see a group of human figures on the horizon – tall, muscular men behind the trees. A voice rings out from amongst them.
Masculine voice ( booming in the jungle )- Of course, you would do anything to keep Abhay , Haseena…..
They all freeze upon hearing the voice and seeing the shadows…. Maya grips Anushka's arm…
Maya ( shudders )- Them…. It's them….
Haseena ( recognizing them )- You…. Who are you?
Man in shadows – As if you don't know, Haseena… just like you go crazy at the smell and sight of blood , we hunt you all down to all corners of the world!.....You know how much we love VAMPIRES.
Abhay steps forward at this and he looks angry.
Abhay ( looking into the shadows)- Aha, I was wondering where you all have been? I sure was missing all the fun…..all this while.
Man in shadows ( laughs )- Abhay , Abhay, Abhay! You are the only vampire I never feel like killing……so no wonder, I killed your girlfriend the last time we had a showdown.
Abhay ( growls )- I am not foolish , SAM! …. I know you did not kill her ! You have done something to her ! And trust me , I will find out where is she!
Haseena ( stepping back )- Abhay …. RETREAT! We are not fighting them.
Chand – Don't be stupid, Abhay! They want you. They are just provoking you!
Sam – Of course we are provoking Abhay because we want him! Why else do you think we have come hunting?
Maya ( stepping back looking at the full moon )- It is … it is their hour. Abhay… COME ON!
But Abhay does not budge…
Abhay – They cannot afford to kill me….
Sam ( growls )- Yes, Abhay…..but we sure can take you away… or even better render you as good as dead.
Abhay ( smiles )- You wish!
Just then , we see that all the men in shadows turn into beasts with their wolf eyes glowing in the dark…The vampire clan steps back and we see them disappear into the woods with an impossible speed but Abhay does not budge.
The werewolves step into the moonlight – all set to pounce on Abhay. And as they do so, Anushka comes out of nowhere and stands between the pack of wolves and Abhay….
Anushka ( smiles darkly)- I have been telling you this for ages , Sam….Abhay is UNREACHABLE…..( glares at the werewolves and a strong wind sways the forest as she spreads her arms)…..Fire in the belly of earth…. EVOKE!
As soon as she says this , a fire border springs out of earth and leaps at the werewolves who roar and run for their lives…..Anushka turns and looks at Abhay who is just looking at fire….
Anushka – They have arrived Abhay….
Abhay ( nods )- And they are so going to regret this arrival…..
