But, I was also, guessing that maybe they are werewolves and she is thirsting for some kind of potion that makes them humans instead of turning into wolves..........okay I am drifting off, vampires thirst for bloods sounds better than some werewolf's potion.

But, when I read the interview I was surprised when he said he is not playing a vampire in the show in spite of so many signs that indicate so. But, like you said it might be an old interview and Ekta probably changed the track. But, since, the interview was on Star One Channel homepage.......it didn't really specify any date to indicate rather it's an old or new interview..........so, I thought that Ekta probably wants the audience to think he is a vampire by showing all these signs and and in the last moment surprise the audience by having him as something else while the audience is left scrunching their hair with confusion.

Indian showmakers are known to do that, they never portray their shows in a full circle that makes sense and will just change things in a span of second thinking the audience's brains will also change just like that. But, unfortunately for them our brains doesn't not change like their stories in fact we are left wondering, "what? What was that for? When did this happen? Why would they show this when they wanted to show this?" Judging from all the indian serials I have watched I guess its a tradition. 😆

Though I do agree that to judge someone's skills you don't have to be one of them. But, I don't think the word "judge" has to do with you ability to recognize what is crappy and what is not. To you a definition of a crappy song will be different from what others prefer. Our ability to judge stems from what our perception is. We aren't born with the ability to sense what is right and what is not but, from what we have learned and perceived to be. I know some songs that my friends absolutely think are just downright good but, I think are the worst compositions ever written it doesn't mean that the song is that way, it just means that we have different taste.

About Kabir, a lot of girls like him because of personality his character is portraying. He portrays a guy who gives importance to a girl, flirts her, makes her feel like she is the most beautiful girl ever, is caring, and a great friend so, I can understand that girls will vouch for him as he is a guy girls want.

As for Abhay, he is playing a role of a non-human, arrogant, emotionless, and cold person so, at times if he is expressionless probably has to do with what the role demands of him and the how the director wants him to portray it. I think the show has just started and all the actors/actresses in this show just need to be given a chance to get into the skin of their character. And further down the road with time things may exceedingly improve. I don't know about others, but when I saw Shahrukh Khan's first movie, Deewana I was like W*H? I mean not to offend anyone but, back then he couldn't act the way he does now.......that is just one movie that I don't like him in and I remember thinking at the point, "who in the world put this guy in movies, he can't act nor does he have any looks?"

But, he improved gracefully and is known to be the "King Khan" of Bollywood today. So, up until now, we have only seen Abhay as an arrogant, rude, and cold person so, we can't judge anything about it yet as we haven't seen many layers of his personality so, Vivian should be given a chance. From the looks of it, I think he is doing his best.

@ brown, did you read the article where they said that Ekta changed the script and the story 7 times! till she was satisfied, i guess that means they have lost many days of footage that was already recorded! so i hope Raichands being vampires is the final result of her choices!

i haven't watched many Indian series!, but from whatever i seen this is so true!..as i used to watch MJHT but then lost interest long time ago , and when i randomly saw an episode i was like woo what happened!, i started to watch RBO but it didn't grab my attention for long! though the story makes sense!, same applies to Geet! its good but the story is very slow so! i lost interest as soon as it grabbed my attention!..

DMG was the only show that i loved to watch and then we know how it turned out to be the most idiotic and illogical track ever!🤢

now i am hooked to PKEK😳 i just hope Ekta wont spoil it for us!, but she already started her

twists and turns! now Maya a 17 yer old girl is pregnant with Danish's baby! and he abuses her!😕 and we thought he and Panchi are so much in love🥱

thats the issue with most of the people around here. Their own buddies can write 2 page long thesis on how one of the characters needs to improve his expressions and blah blah, and as soon as someone other than their 'own' kind comes in everyone jumps and tries to play around with words.

And about his comparison with Kabir, the only thing i compared between them was their acting skills. When Kabir was standing there quietly watching Piya and Abhay on the dance floor, his expressions were very strong. He wasn't laughing or even talking, he was just standing there. I cant see the same sort of strength in Vivian's acting (besides the dance with Mithali, or however you spell that).

I understand its your opinion and everyone has the right to their own opinion. But, the Kaheela wrote this post in reference to the bashing people are throwing at Vivian and the show. And I did read both of your posts. She did comment that it is your opinion while you may think he doesn't act good but, a lot of others think he acts good. I mean, I don't think she was stating that your opinion is a fact she was just basically saying that everyone sees things in their own way.

There was no sarcaism here as it is true that no one really has a true judgement but, everyone has their own likes/dislikes from how they see it. For instance, I personally don't like Katrina Kaif's acting skills as I find that she doesn't excel in portraying it realistically like Rani Mukherji or Kajol. But, there are people out there who find Katrina's acting skills remarkable.

In this case, it depends on what the definition of "great" acting means to them and how they want to see it. As I said before, Vivian has just started off on his character and his character hasn't reached any potential of depth so, as the story unfolds and we see more sides and developments to his character, then we can actually judge him.

And you just went ahead and attacked her for bashing a "certain" actor in a previous forum which didn't even have anything to do with her post. First of all, if she even has bashed a certain actor in another forum then why bring it up here when this is a different forum and not even relevant to her post?

Since there are no set standards, I think the burden is on Ekta and Vivian to portray the character in a way that the eccentricity of the character isn't lost, but at the same time, the acting isn't below par.

A good example would be Mr. Raichand. I don't know the name of the actor but he's doing extremely well! His personality, voice modulation, delivering dialogues etc. are very good. ⭐️ I don't know anything about the principles of acting but this guy, at least in my opinion, is doing a great job. 👍🏼 Vivian should take a leaf or two out of his book. What say?

I know what you mean about DMG, MJHT, RBO, and Geet. All these shows started off really good with a strong storyline but, after a while Indian showmakers don't know how to make the story flow and captivate the audience's attention. They drag things tooooooooooo much. I can honestly say that I have never watched an Indian show from its first episode to its end becuz, they get so off the track, boring, directionless story, and not to mention extremely long. I'll just watch it but, if the story gets boring, I don't waste any time in the serial.

I am expecting her to turn things around with this serial becuz, its based on the supernatural so, there are so many themes and topics she can explore with. But, the way of telling the story must be very strong instead dragging things or showing unnecessary pointless tracks that don't even coordinate with the originial plot. And DMG is the most horrible show I have ever seen so, after watching such disaster piece of show, I was afraid to watch another indian show again in my life but, I willing to give PKYEK a chance to see how Ekta portrays it.

and about Vivian, He's hot he can dance, but he can't act. And to judge someone's skills you really don't have to be one of them. If thats the case then we can listen to crappy songs all day and watch stony acting all night because the 'majority' of the viewers are just plain viewers who can't judge, but thats not the case. If he's up there playing the lead AND he has the looks to pull it off, his acting should match that. I wont care if they show him flying tomorrow or turning into a giant, cuz he's a supernatural. but his acting NEEDS to improve.

I didn't know the guy playing Kabir before this show, but compared to him Vivian's expressions are so...i dont know. Not at all what he's trying to portray.
