Barkha Bhisht

Barkha Bhisht-"In my opinion Delhi is very rude"

I have been staying in Mumbai for around two years now, and I don't think that it's even a per cent rude. When I came here, I didn't know anyone, and people here were so friendly. Outsiders take offence because; people here demand their own space, which is quite normal. In my opinion Delhi is very rude. The people there are not at all friendly. They thrive on a particular culture and don't easily accept others.

thanks for sharing.
personally, i dont think the survey is even valid since it's based on biased parameters. politeness is defined differently in different countries. holding the door and writing thankyou letters don't show politeness, not in my eyes anyway, cuz i was brought up in india and I find such expression of politeness rather superficial. that's just my point of view. ANd based on such gestures, it's absolutely impossible to say that bombay or any other place is rude cuz each place has its own way of living and crudeness shudnt be called rudeness.
