Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh

Hello IF-ians!

On March 23rd, 1931, a couragous freedom fighter of India gave up his life for India's Independance. This freedom fighter was non other than Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh fasted for 63 days while being in jail. He was in jail because he was demanding equal rights for Indian and British political prisoners. He was later hung for shooting a police officer who had killed a veteran social activist, Lala Lajpat Rai. This encouraged many to speak up for their rights.

There have been multiple movies made of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji. For example The Legend of Bhagat Singh -- Starring Ajay Devgan and another movie on Bhagat Singh Ji has been made with Bobby Deol.

Today, we all salute him for taking such a great step in helping India get it's independance.

Hey Gurprit thanks for posting.... u wrote it well like i said 😛 😛... this day will always live on and on going throught everyones hearts who really care.. an noticed what impact Shaheed bhagat singh did in india but it didnt just affect india it affected everyone it made people look up to him.. etc but yet there are people who have forgotten as time goes past... which is wrong.. he should always be lived on in memory n heart.. 😛 an i hope there will be people like him today n in the future.. 😛...
