Suicide is the most selfish act anyone can attempt, especially when it's meant to emotionally control them. Yet Gayatri did not mean it as mere threat because she nearly died. She has lost so much and is bitter as a result. Most of it is through her own doing though. She never had a real marriage, her priced son was not hers, now her youngest chose a woman over her. I can understand her state as it's a lot for anyone to take, not excusing it just trying to get into her psyche. She has to change her mindset before she can accept her reality and find happiness in her old age at least.

But as it happened, her selfish act resulted in the discovery of a more serious illness. She was dying a slow death and wouldn't have known until it was too late, now at least she can be saved, I think... Not sure what you have planned.

In a sense I see this cancer as symbolic of her mindset. It is a deadly disease that attacks the body just like her mind has been under attack and infested with malicious thoughts. Along with the cancer her mind needs treatment. Only then can she allow her heart to love freely.

She has certainly inspired intense reactions from her family. I think SP is behaving too self-righteously! He is the core cause of the mess that his family is in as far as I'm concerned. It's clear he has no love for her but does he have to be so harsh?

I think Paridhi is selfish and immature! She will lose Prateek if she doesn't change... But Prateek should have been up front about his family to her so she knew what she was letting herself in for

Now let's wait and see just who will be Gayatri's savior. Of course she won't realise it at first but just by moving back AarYa would be saving her as deep down, at a part she won't acknowledge, she misses her son and her granddaughters...
