Time skip three days later
The family was once again in the hospital in the doctors cabin
"The results are in G3ji has a form of blood cancer we have managed to have found it while it is still in stage one she needs to start chemotherapy and then there is blood transfusions that she will need also we have narrowed the search for a compatible bone marrow donor it is both your grandson Ansh and bahu Aarti while Aarti is pregnant and can only be a donor after her baby is about six months old, Ansh is the only candidate now we are still searching through the country for a match."
How is that possible Prateek and I are her biological sons we should be the one for the possible match"
"Mr Scindhia that is why we want to speak to all of you together let me introduce my colleague Mrs. Prasad she is a specialist in genealogy and but is also an hematologist-oncologist our lab tech. pointed out to us that Ms Aarti is a close relative of G3ji while Mr Yash is not related to her. Aarti ji could be a daughter or neice of G3 ji. While both you Mr Pankaj and Prateek are diabetic and have a high cholesterol levels you both are not suitable candiates. In fact with your history of fluctuating blood pressure you both are canditates for a heart attack in your young age. My advice is for you both to start looking after your health to prevent further complications."
Aarti was shocked listening to the doctor she is a close relative to G3 maji what how is that possible. Yash held her hand even tighter she thought she was the one holding on to his hand for support but now she needed his support.
SP reacted "What my sons are headed for an early heart attack and Aarti bahu is related to G3 when G3 learns of this she might be the one suffering the heart attack"
Yash "Dr are you sure my brothers are that unhealthy and my wife could be a close relative"
"Yash she is not related to you but to your brothers and yes they have to watch their diet and medications"
"But Prateek is only twenty five he is still a baby to have all these complications" said Radha
Dr "His diet and the stressors of life have him in this state plus both his parents are diabetic and hypertensive"
The doctor continued "I want each of you to have session with the councillor she needs to get to the root of G3 ji's problem I will keep her here for a couple more days for her physical recovery but the psychologist want to keep her here for another week. I have taken the liberty to made the appointments for each of you beginning from after you leave my cabin remember we still have to inform her about her cancer, she already tried to commit suicide once we don't want a repeat of that. Therefore all new information will be given to her in stages according to the psychologist's plan okay.
The Scindhia family had no choice but to agree SP was the first to speak to the councillor while Pankaj, Vidhi, and Prateek visited with G3.
In G3's room she kept looking at the door while in conversation with her sons and bahu
"Ma if it is Yash bhayia you want to see both he and Aarti Bhabhi are waiting outside they have been here every day"
"Well then if that is the truth why have they not come in and spoken to me"
"Maybe because they are afraid of your reaction" said Vidhi
"My reaction I took care of that man since the day he was born and yes I may not approve of Aarti but she is his wife; since when are they afraid of me and my reaction, they were never afraid in the past so what is this nonsense now about"
Aarya heard her outburst and entered the room "Namaste maji" said Aarti
Yash went up to her to embrace her but she stopped him "Namaste Aarti go home and rest you have to take care of yourself and the baby; and you Yash what kind of a husband are you have you forgotten my teachings you have to take care of your wife and unborn baby not have her stressing herself all over the place. I am fine and getting better daily there is no need to worry about me I am speaking with my psychologist It is a pity that years back I did not have someone like her in my life to discuss about my life; but then again I was brought up to tolerate my husband's behaviour and stay married to him at all cost; my family would of be too embarrassed and hurt if I had left him and they would not of accepted me back in their home"
Both Yash and Aarti looked at G3 in shock that was not the response they expected from her "Why are you both looking at me like that you know it is never to late to accept and learn from one's mistakes"
Prateek "does this mean that you will forgive and accept Paridhi?"
"Prateek that girl needs to grow up she is very disrespectful to her elders, refuses to learn about traditions and customs. When she becomes mature and can stop being a selfish person I will think about it. You know I always believed that she is not the right one for you; until she proves me otherwise I would pefer it if she keeps her distance from me"
"But ma I love her very much"
"Preteek if you want to live with her at her parents so be it go be a hen pecked husband all your life just like her father is"
"Ma what are you saying" said Yash "how can you give your consent"
"Prateek is a grown man let him make his own decisions, he loves his wife and she cannot live in a traditional joint family so I am allowing him to go live his life"
"My don't say that I love you too and I will make Paridhi understand"
"Prateek where is Paridhi right now?"
"She went to the radio station her show is on right now"
"Exactly a member of her family is hospitilized her saas and she went to work. Aatri who is pregnant and my stepson's wife is here even though she know I don't like her; but you are my youngest son your wife should be here with Vidhi bahu to ensure that I am comfortable; making arrangements for my discharge and return home. But no her job is more important and I am just an old fool of no importance"
Pankaj answered "Ma don't work yourself up Vidhi and I are here we will do the needful"
Yash "Ma Aarti the kids and I will be moving back to SM"
"No you don't need to do that Vidhi can manage she has been doing so for years and Maya is there to help continue living your life you have your own mother to look after"
Yash felt so hurt he tried to answer back but felt Aarti's hands hold onto his for support and she give a quick gesture with her eyes.
The conversation came to an end as the psychologist and a nurse entered the room "It is time for Mrs Scindhia session if you all could please excuse us' said the Dr.
In the carpark Pankaj told Yash "Don't take what ma said to seriously give her time she will come around and welcome all of you at home"
Prateek "Ma just don't understand how committed Paridhi is to her work and she has an appointment with a producer for a TV show. This is what makes Paridhi happy trying to force our traditions down her throat will only lead to disaster
Pankaj "Prateek if you want to live at home you have to follow their rule"
"Bhayia bauji have two wives and two separate families both Ishita and Aarti Bhabhis work part time what rule am I to follow? Ma's rule she don't like both Paridhi and Aarti Bhabhi if I give in to ma I will lose my wife. Yash bhayia you stood up for Aarti Bhabhi and look how happy you are; if I continue to live at SM I will live in the spare rooms occupied by Yash bhayia when ma first exiled them and we will cook for ourselves so Vidhi Bhabhi you won't have any extra work because of us."
"Prateek speak to your wife don't make plans" advised Yash
Pankaj "Yash take Aarti home she needs to rest now Vidhi and I will return to visit ma this evening there is some pending work I need to attend too, and I am sure you also have some work to attend too. Don't worry the psychologist will help ma to understand the various situations around her and tomorrow we have our turn to speak to the psychologist."
Yash was not too happy to leave just as yet he wanted to spend more time with his ma but Aarti is his first priority and she looked tired; it was time for a meal, Yash knew if she missed one she will faint from low blood sugar not good at all for her and baby, so he had to agree and took Aarti to the nearest restaurant ordered egg and chicken dishes. For the past month she had cravings for non veg foods and Yash happily allowed her to have what she wanted even the dr agreed for the extra protiens in her diet.
During their meal Aarti "Yashu I know it pains you that G3 ma did not give her blessing for us to return to SM I know how much you miss your home and your family."
"Aarti so what if she did not ask us to return we can still visit and I have full faith that the psychologist will help her to accept us back into her life. Tomorrow we will speak to the psychologist"
"Yashu ma has a deadly disease when she finds out her world will once again come crashing down we should be there to support her. Paridhi show try and understand and show some support G3 ma is a mother figure to her but she just don't care I wish her parents are able to put some sense into her head soon."
"Aarti my love let us enjoy our meal; so my darling loves chicken now I wonder what our baby would be like a strong boy like me or a beautiful girl like her mother"
"My boy will be like himself a mixture of both you and I"
"Lord another chatterbox in the family"
"I am not a chatter box Mr Scindhia"
"Really you and your two daughters don't stop talking until bedtime"
"We have important things to discuss things you won't understand like girl stuff"
"Well my beautiful big girl time to go home you need your rest look your feet are swollen."
In the hospital G3's room
Psychologist "Mrs Scindhia I spoke to your husband and Radha this morning they told me about their life Yash and Akash'
G3 "so what do you want from me you know my hasband has a second wife and family'
"Mr Scindhia told me how both he and his father kept the truth from you regarding Yash's identity, the fact that Yash had a twin brother Akash who lives with his mother and that the frequent business trips away were him actually living with Radha and Akash. Mrs Scindhia I want us to explore how all this made you feel your marriage, relationship with your sassural, husband, and your own family parents, and siblings'
"Why what happened in the past let it remain there'
"Mrs Scindhia those events played a major role in you trying to commit sucide you cannot spend your life using pills to sleep away your pain or to numb your feelings that is not healthy you have to discuss everything with me and your family. Mrs Scindhia your family loves you and are very worried for you think about your sons your grand children they have so much to learn from you"
"My sons I thought I had three sons but it turns out I only have two and my baby girl that I knew nothing about died at birth and Radha's son Yash was given to me in her place. I loved that baby boy the most he was my pride and joy. In appearance he is the one like his father tall and handsome just like his father, his business sense like his bauji and dadaji. Even as a small boy he started his savings and worked part time with his dadaji and bauji on little projects like birthday parties. I was so proud of him he was three years ahead of his class so they moved him up quickly and he entered collage early completing his degrees then working with his bauji. The clients loved him they kept asking for his personal involvement every time he had to start a new project he would come to me and say ma bless me then he would tell me all about it explain about the different thing the client wants ask me my opinion. My husband never discussed about their business with me as far as he and my FIL was concern I was there to cook take care of the house and family business was a man's job all decision taking is only for men and my sassuma was just like them she wanted me to accompany her to the temple take care of the cooking the house and of course her grandsons. I think she knew about Radha but turned a blind eye and wanted me to do the same"
The conversation continued for another hour or so G3 felt at ease when she was finished talking to this woman was like talking to an old friend the psychologist had a way of prompting her to talk make he want to share her innermost feelings.
Back at Radha's SP spoke to Yash "beta if Ansh is a match to be a donor for G3 I think we should use him"
"But bauji he is so small to undergo that trauma I don't want my son to have unnecessary pain."
"Yash I have spoken to the Dr Ansh will be well taken care off they won't be much discomfort for him'
"Bauji he is just six years old how do we explain to him"
"Yashu leave that to me I will make my baby understand" said Aarti coming to sit next to Yash.
"Aarti there is still hope we will find another match"
"Yash the drs said my DNA is a close match to ma's Yash she can be my bua or masi so many questions If I was not pregnant I would be her donor"
"Bauji ma's siblings and her nephews and nieces have you inform them they should also be tested maybe one among them could be her donor"
Yash beta I have informed them and they will be arriving from tomorrow I also requested that none should mention about this to G3 I don't know if they will follow my order regarding this matter."
"Bauji any of ma siblings has an affair where by I can be the shameful result that they placed me in an orphanage"
"Aarti what are you saying you are my wife not anybody's shameful result"
"Yash I love you too but the fact is I was placed in an orphanage by some one who left my birth chart and give me my name Aarti"
SP "G3 had a younger sister her name was Savatri she was about ten years younger than G3 and very beautiful their parent had allowed her to complet her collage education and her marriage was fixed with a Business man in Delhi, but she fell in love with a collage mate of hers from Mumbai and the talk was just before her roka with the man chosen for her she ran away with her lover. It was also mentioned that her brothers found her after many months and their was a child born but that child died with it's parents in a car crash. I used to spend many days with Radha and Akash back then so I don't know the full story"
"Bauji do you think I could be that child?" asked a hopeful Aarti
Yash "What how come I never heard that story ma said that her younger sister died and that she was educated the first girl in their family that went to collage and she was a lawyer. That why she wants Vedicka and my girls to get educated."
"Aarti beta I will ask G3 brothers when they arrive for more info about their sister and jiju. I just hope they share because now they are not on speaking terms with me because of the revelation about Radha, Yash, and Akash."
"Bauji I will also try asking them I mean if we don't find another donor then we have to use Ansh if they truly care for their sister they will tell us the truth.
Latter that night in Aarya's room Aarti was lying in bed thinking about the posiblity that G3 could be a blood relative of her's
Yash came in and saw his beauty deep in thought with a slight smile on her lips and her hands rubbing her tummy "What is my baby thinking and is she speaking to my baby boy" and he came next to her on the bed and begun rubbing and speaking to his baby "Beta mama is already turning you too into a good listener like your Ansh bhayia and papa or another chatter box like her and your didis?"
"Yashu if you don't have anything nice to say about me then go to sleep" said Aarti faking anger
"My love I am paying you a compliment and you are becoming angry. See baby how mama is naughty but I still love her" and he kissed her on her cheeks then on her tummy
"Yashu do you think I am related to G3 ma if she is my masi do you think she will accept me?? I wonder if I reminder her of her sister wait bauji said she was a lawyer like me"
"Aarti my love relax don't go building castles in the sky just yet we have to go slow okay honey"
"Okay but this mama is hungry for something"
"What strange cravings do you have now" and he made to get up from the bed but his darling held him fast
"I want you my love all of you so strip and get into bed now!"
"What my bossy wife is planning to have her way with me"
"Yes you better believe it come on nah Yashu play some romantic music and do a striptease dance for me" said a naughty Aarti her eyes shining with mischief
"Remember after you have our baby I am going to be a demanding hubby and you will have to do the striptease act for me."
"Stripteases, oily massage, gymnastic pose anything my handsome hubby wants as long as my reward is lots of love and physical pleasure."
