Chapter 42

After a few hours of rest Aarti started insecure and Yash sensing that she was awake turned and opened his eyes.

Aarti sniled and asked "Yashu is my belly getting bigger"

"Baby you are only four and a half months right now I love your tiny baby bump"

"So you will not like my body when my belly gets bigger" and tears came to her eyes "You won't love anymore" and she begun to bawl

Poor confused Yash sat up and tried to hold his crying wife who pushed him away and continued to cry

Yash ST man oh man women as such emotional creatures what did I say that was so wrong "Aaru honey my sweet baby I will always love and want you even if you get big and fat"

"Big and Fat I am going to become a whale" and she bawled even louder

"Baby don't stress the baby has to grow and he/she will need space you are so beautiful and I feel so proud that you are having my baby" and he held her close to him happy that she allowed and did not push him away.

"Really you are happy." She sniffed and cried in between And you love me'

"I love you so much my big baby and I love my little baby inside of you" and he caressed her tummy then kissed her tummy.

Aarti felt a little better hicuped and hugged her hubby and allowed him to lie with her in his arms her head on his chest "Yashu I know you love me and I am sorry for being a baby but I can't help I see how all the ladies look at you and soon I will look like and overstuffed samosa."

"Well you will be my overstuffed samosa to taste and eat" he tickled her back and kissed her head

"Samosa Yash I think I am going down to the kitchen and make some" she said likcing her lips

"Aaru it is two am lets sleep a little more nah"

"No I want my samosa there must be some in the fridge or some frozen skins after all this is a resort." And she got up put on sweet pants and t shirt and left for the kitchen with a hurriedly dressed Yash in hot pursuit.

In the kitchen Aarti found what she was looking for and proceeded to make a snack of samosa and chutney with a sleepy Yash keeping her company. Then she found ice cream in the fridge and sat down with a bowl of the cold treat feeding both her self and a half asleep Yash.

After her snack of samosa and ice ceram a happy Aarti returned to bed cuddled in Yash's arms only to wake him again at six am "Yashu wake up I feel sick" and she ran to the washroom to vomit. A frightened Yash ran after her and begun rubbing her back and comforting her helping her to tidy herself the carried her back to their bed, making his way to the kitcken to get her some juice.

Meanwhile at the Dubey's Prashant and Neda were discussing about the day and the Scindhia family then Neda said "Honey I think we should inform ma and bauji about you health and that I am pregnant again"

"No baby they don't need to know as yet the doctors said my treatment are working so far and I want them to know and love you completely that they will ask. Aarti who? And her son what son? You and our children is all that matters to me and in case I don't make it I know what a bleeding heart Aarti is she will not let you or the kids suffer or ma and bauji and anything Aarti wants Yash make sure she has it" he laughed and hugged her.

Neda hugged him "I love you Prashant and I hope you will be okay to spend many years with our children they need their papa and I need you. Your ma is kind but she loves Aarti a lot they have a special bond, do the books together, and are very protective of each other; bauji can't do much because Aarti helps with the business, all I can suggest is try baby and show him how good you too can be with business matters how much you have change. Afterall you are his son and Aarti is just a stranger."

In the Scindhia mansion the following morning

"Paridhi I am speaking to you! I said don't go to work Vidhi Bhabhi needs your help today ma's and buaji's friends are coming over stay and help Vidhi!" he was walking briskly behing Pradhi who was quickly walking towards the main door

"What am I the maid? There are plenty of paid servants here to help Bhabhi I have a job or have you forgotten that I am a popular TV host. I don't have time for this nonsense of playing house wife that is Vidhi's department not mind"

"How dare you disrespect your husband and elder Bhabhi" roared G3 "You just march into the kitchen and help Vidhi bahu and stop this foolishness of working!"

"Excuse me you can speak to your other bahus like that not me!" answered back Paridhi

"Paridhi how dare you talk back to my mother!" shouted Prateek

"And how dare she treat me like a mindless servant it is her's and bua's friends let them cook for them and just leave me out of this!" she shouted back

SP entered the lounge "What is this commotion going on here in my house Paridhi bahu how dare you disrespect your husband and saas have you no manners!"

"I Have manners that is why I am not saying what I really feel about this house! I have a job and I am leaving to do it!"

"Really well you better not come back if you can't respect this family and our rules"

"Rules what rules you allow Aarti, and Ishita to work instead of shrivelling up here like an old raisin I am going to work; and I don't need to return here my parents also have a mansion with servants and they love me!"

"Paridhi is that the way to speak to my father?" shouted Prateek

"Why so I cower and go into the corner like you, Pankaj and Vidhi? I am an adult with a mind of my own you knew this before we got married and I thought that you were a strong modern man not a cowardly child blindly following your parents and elder brothers! You are not a man but a wimp"

Maya who was listening to the exchange of words came up to Paridhi and slapped her twice across the face "Mannerless woman how dare you speak to your elders like this you are a shame to your parents" at the same moment a frouis G3 also slapped Paridhi other side of her face.

Paridhi "You know I can sue you for this wait and watch if you feel I will take this lying down" and she stormed off she took a picture of herself with her iphone and called her papa. Paridhi had the read handprint across her cheeks.

"G3! Maya! What have you done you know we can go to jail for those slap!" shouted SP

"Paridhi! Wait! Paridhi" shouted Prateek running after his wife who was crying and speaking to her parents over the phone."Pari don't go in anger come inside"

"Why for your ma and bua to hit to hit me again and you are standing there not defending me!"

"Paridhi you know why you were slapped so don't play innocent!" he did not notice that she was still on the phone and that his in laws were hearing their conversation.

"Prateek leave that insolent woman alone and stop causing a scene outside " said G3 coming outside "What are you still doing here leave we don't need the likes of you here in this house or family!"

"Ma go inside this is between Paridhi and I"

"What you are answering me back for this stranger!"

"Paridhi is my wife and both you and buaji had no right to slap her!"

"Don't take that tone with me young ma! For who this mannerless girl"

SP came to the door "Get inside now! Prateek bring your wife in here right now!"

All three came inside "Prateek I thought you were mature enough to handle married life well obviously I was wrong! You should of explained to Paridhi before marriage the type of family we are the expections we have from our bahus instead of allowing your crotch to rule you! You should of used your brain and realise thet she does not fit into this family. If you insist to remain married to her one out of two things will happen she stops working and become a housewife like Vidhi bahu or you both move out the choice is yours."

"Ji how can my son move out of this house his home he just have to divorce this wretch"

"Yes your son not mind you threw Yash and Aarti out when he did not listen to your unreasonable demands"

"Yes I understand now you want that bas***d and his poor orphan wife to return here to get my son's right of property; then you will bring the next bas***d and his cripple wife yes that is your plan"

"G3 what nonesence you are speaking who in their right mind will want to return here under your dictatorship!"

"See even you agree she is a dictator" said Paridhi

"Paridhi shut up and don't make matters worst!" shouted Prateek

"Prateek I want to live in my parent's house if you love me you would live there with me!"

"My son will not become a live in son il law!" shouted G3

"Ma I said before this is between Paridhi and I our life our future"

"What you are actually condersing leaving me for this girl" said a livid G3

"G3 she is our bahu and it is their life Paridhi I told you before that the bahus of this family do not work outside the house or dress in revealing modern clothes but you insist to do both. I know you think I have no right to speak to you because I have two wives and sets of kids but you live here with G3 and you are married to her son she has maintained the Scindhia family tradition and expects both you and Vidhi bahu to follow.If Aarti and Aripta lived here too they too would have to follow the rules"

"Bauji you allowed Aarti Bhabhi to work with Yash bhayia and they lived here"

"Yes she worked with her husband not with a strange man parading around in shameful clothes, and it is on a part time basis not full time like you ignoring your family."

"I have dreams and plans for my future Prateek knows this in fact he supported me while we were in collage; now he is ignoring me and wan't to force me to follow the family line. I can't just stop my life and become a mindless robot like Vidhi Bhabhi, and overworked non paid servant. My parents brought me up give me a good education and told the sky is the limit. Maya "You mannerless girl how dare you speak to your father in law like this" and she slapped Paridhi again but this time paridhi slapped a shocked Maya back.

"You are not my parent to slap me and if Prateek don't come and live with me in my parent's house I will go to the police and lodge a complaint against all of you people" and she walked out with prateek following

"Prateek! Prateek where are you going I will kill myself if you leave me!"

"Prateek she is just a drama queen who wants to emotionaly blackmail you" said Paridhi and she further told him "it is me or them your choice"

Vidhi who was sliently observing called Yash and told him what was happening he called Pankaj and they rushed over to find Maya and Vidhi pounding G3's door begging her to open it with SP just standing watching the male servants who brought a hammer and another object to break the door down.

Yash "bauji do something"

"What Yash I am an old man with a heart condition"

Yash, Pankaj and the two servants broke the door down they found G3 lying on the bed in an unconscious state and a few empty bottles of her medication lying next to her. Yash took her into his arms and rushed her to the hospital with the family in tow. In the emergency room they pumped her stomach and started treatment

Vidhi called Prateek who rushed to the hospital with Paridhi and her parents.
