Chapter 41
The kids were so happy the following morning they woke up early and made their way to AarYa's room; excitedly knocking on the door "Mama Papa Good morning open the door we want to come in?"
Aarti who had just changed the bedsheets after her shower she still had the towel wraped around her hair. "Hold you horses babies I am coming"
Yash who was bare chest and about to ware his shirt was laughing at the eagerness of his kids "Mama you took to long were you kissing papa" asked Ansh as he ran to the bed then he noticed Yash and made a bee line for him "Morning Papa were you and mama fighting look at the scratches on you back" laughed Ansh
"Mama did papa bite you Look Palak mama have a mark on her back" said the innocent Payel
"Mama Papa why were you fighting is it because that new uncle got papa angry" asked Ansh "I don't like him! Who is he badi papa said he is his son but I thought my first papa was his only son?"
A shocked confused AarYa looked at each other their kids are growing up and becoming very observant.
"Look Ansh both mama and papa are red in the face" laughed Palak both she and Payel were sitting on the bed
"Kids you know some times you all talk too much" scolded an embarrassed Aarti
"They are chatterboex like their mama" answered Yash earning him a look from Aarti
"Papa you did not answer were you fighting because of that new uncle" asked Ansh "Who is he?"
Aarya looked at each other and gestured that they should say before some one else talks.Yash placed Ansh on his lap and sat with him on the bed "Beta remember your mama was married to badi mama's son before she met me and you were born; but he left you right"
"Yes he left us while I was still inside mama, and he never came back for us but badi mama, and badi papa kept us with them. That new uncle is he the one my first papa?"
Aarti who was sitting next to Yash with the girls sitting at the other side touched her son's head and face then kissed his cheeks "Yes beta he is your first papa"
"Well I don't like him I don't like how he looked at my papa, and beside he has his own son now. Why is he here? If he thinks that I want to know him or live with him he is wrong I want my papa only!"
Yash hugged him "Beta no one will take you away from me I promise you. You are my boy my champ okay"
"Is that why you fought" asked Ansh "Because of that uncle"
Yash realized his son was not going to leave this topic so he said "Your mama was playing naughty and she did not want me to hug her so while she was brushing her teeth and bending over the sink her back looked so juicy so I bit it and she in turn used her long nail to stratch me as punishment because I was moving to quickly and she could not bite me."
"Papa you were naughty like Ansh bhayia when he chases us and pull our hair and then we run after him and bite him because his hair is too short to pull." Said Payel
"Yes they are very naughty like papa like beta" said Aarti hugging her girls
"Papa tell them we are not naughty it is just that they look so cute and tempting with their long hair"
"And you cheeks are nice and chubby to bite right mama" answered Palak
"Yes my princess you Ansh bhayia has nice chubby cheeks" and she pinched Ansh cheeks
"Papa make mama stop" laughed Ansh wriggling in his papa's arms
Yash "Now tell me what ad you all so excited this morning"
"Well we have an idea how about a picnic and a game of cricket today please papa our entire family can take part and if G3 daadi ji don't want to come here maybe we can go to the park" said Ansh
"You miss her Ansh?" asked Yash
"Papa I know she plays mean but I think she misses you last night I saw how she lookd at you when you were dancing with mama and then when you were speaking to Radha daadiji, and she was looking angry when behans were eating with Radha daadi. Please papa can we all spend the day together" pleaded Ansh
"Okay beta I will speak to everyone" answered Yash "Now go kids and have your shower then breakfast"
"Yes babies go I will be there in a while" said Aarti
"Yashu our kids are very observant we have to be more careful in future"
"Careful Mrs Scindhia I thought you liked being bad" and he reach forward and claim her lips, then moving to her neck
"Jaanu stop I have to go to our kids"
And I have to arrange our cricket party we should have it at SM in the back garden what you think. Pankaj bhayia and Vidhi bhabhi can convince ma and buaji to take part and make the arrangements there."
"Our son is very observant and concern for G3 ma, he is growing up; and on the other hand he don't like Prashant dispite the fact that he is his biological father"
"Children are pure innocent souls they tell you exactly as they see and feel things we can't hide the truth from them for long"
At the breakfast table the kids were so happy they spoke non stop SP who had spent the night kept on encouraging them while Aarti and Radha tried their best to get them to stop and eat first but Akash came and joined in on the fun. Yash confirmed that they will spend the day at SM that Pankaj and Vidhi are making the necessary preparations. Prateek will be making snacks and the staff here will cater the lunch and deliver to SM.
Radha "Beta you sure G3 ji won't mind us there in her house?"
"Ma the kids want to spend the day with their entire family Pankaj and Vidhi's kids are there on holiday and they also want to spend time with G3 ma and buaji."
"Radha it is still my house and like it or not we are one large family. I know you will feel uncomfortable there but we will be outside in the garden for a few hours all our kids and grandkids will be there. If G3 has a problem with that then sorry for her she knows that you are also my wife and the mother of my sons too. This time there today is for her benefit she can choose to be a part or ignore us. Yash and the kids are reaching out to her, expressing their love for her by including her in our family's happiness. As the saying goes the ball is in her court."
At the SM Pankaj got some of their workers to set up a tent, table and chairs n the back garden; they made a makeshift pitch for the cricket game even invited the workers and their family to spend the day along with their servants Pankaj informed Yash of the new development.
Paridhi was not in the mood to help in the kitchen or play ceicket in the hot sun but Prateek told her that this is family time and the kids want to spend time with her also so she could stop complaining and pretend to be happy. That this is a new year and she better start thinking exactly what is important to her and her future is she willing to stay here as his wife and a member of this family or move back home to her parents.
Maya "Bhabhi the brats want to play cricket and we have to go sit in the hot sun and pretend to be happy. Won't it be fun if the Dubeys come shall we invite them?"
G3 "Yes I will give Shoba Ji a call after all they are Aarti's loving parents and her husband" she give an evil smie
After G3 call Shoba an invited them over Shoba spoke to AArti who was in the car with her family "Beta G3 ji called she invited us over to SM for the day she said that you all are having a cricket match and Ansh wants to spend the day with his family. I know she is up to no good but Prashant and your bauji wants to come over"
"Ma come if you want to you and bauji are my parents but Prashant better not try to come close to Ansh or cause any trouble there."
Yash "What who invited Prashant there!"
"Calm down jaanu G3 ma invited them but you and I are mature adults so much in love with Each other and he has his wife and son we can co exist together for a few hours. Look Radha ma is entering SM for us today she and G3 ma are not friends they are both married to the same man and have his kids if they can behave maturely so can we."
"Honey I don't like the man he abused and abandoned you during your pregnancy if he tried to come close to my boy I will loose my cool."
"Relax baby Ansh is a smart boy he knows you are his only papa"
They arrived at the SM and went straight to the back garden under the large tent where they placed their stuff. The two other Scindhia couples were all ready there they greated each other; Yash told that the Dubeys would be joining in. Akash who arrived with Ishita and his kids asked Yash if he was okay with that? Even the other couple was curious and waited his answer ready to give their opinion.
Yash " As long as he don't cause any problems for my wife and son then okay he is welcome look he is Dubey bauji and Shoba ma's son and Aarti loves having her parents around the kids love being with them I can tolerate him for a few hours."
"Bhai we don't like him look how he used and abused Aarti Bhabhi and never accepted Anshu but if you are willing to tolerate his presence then we will respect and support your decision" said Prateek
"Thanks chote all I want is for my family to be united and happy but unfortunately other don't want the same; it was G3 ma who invited them today"
"Ma why would she do that I think buaji put her up to it" said Pankaj
"Bhayia what ever were ther reasons we will show them that we can all get along and have a good time" answered Yash
In route Shoba told Prashant "Beta we are spending the day with the Scindhias G3 ji invited us I am sure both she and Maya ji have there own reasons. They are not nice people their motive is to cause trouble for Aarti. Beta please don't play their game"
Ma Aarti is my ex wife yes it is strange for us to spend time together given our history but I am happy married to my love Neda we have our son. Why would I want Aarti or her son; we have both moved on with our lives"
"Prashant the Scindhias elder ladies are traditional they believe that you are still Aarti's husband and have full rights over her. They never approved of her for Yash or accepted Ansh as their grandson; those two ladies can do anything to keep them unhappy, especially since Yash is not G3's biological son but Radha's SP second wife."
"WOW! Mr Scindhia has two wives and kids, wait is he divorced from G3 auntieji?" said a surprised Neda
"No" answered Dubey "He married G3 ji in India when he was a teenager and Radhaji in London when they were in college together."
Both Neda and Prashant looked at each other and smilied this information will come in handy for future use.
They arrived at the SM and settled in G3 made sure she got into conversation with Neda she wanted to know all about Prashant and Aarti's past.
The two teams picked Yash had his Ansh and the girls on his team along with Akash, Pankaj took Prashant and Prateek. Aarti and her sisters in law were cheering along all.
They all had lots of fun Yash carried his Anshu to bat and Prateek bowled to him he proved to be a good bat's man Yash "Anshu very good beta'
"Bhayia all that after school game payed off see how our Anshu has improved; now the next game will be football right Anshu"
"Yes chachu but first papa's and my team will defeat you in cricket" he laughed running to Yash who took him up and the give each other hi fives and laughed.
Prashant watched the duo and laughed he saw the pure love between Yash and Ansh that was a very good thing in his book he looked towards the tent and saw Paridhi holding his son in her arms talking and smiling at his baby boy. Even Neda seems to be getting along with Paridhi and Ishita.
"Really you all will defeat us" said Pankaj coming and tickling Ansh taking him onto his shoulders while the others had a short break.
The girls were with their Aarti mama who was giving them juice and snacks and making sure her babies were comfortable in their cricket uniforms.
The game re started and so did Aarti's cheering for her babies her girls were having fun trying to hit the ball and Pankaj and Prateek was having fun encouraging them with their bowling.
Yash was having fun with his brothers but he kept his eyes on Prashant making sure he went no where near to Aarti or Ansh
Prashant made friends with the workers who were also playing on the teams he thought to himself let Yash worry he has not realise yet that I have no interest in Aarti or her son I just want to make sure that the boy is firmly secured in to the Scindhia family so that even my kids and I will benefit from that relationship in the future.
Maya whispered to G3 "Prashant is not interested in that woman or her son he is keeping his distance and she is not showing any signs of being jealous of his wife or new son, look she is even playing with the baby. Don't she car that he is her husband"
"Maya maybe she really loves Yash and after all they are divorced and he is married to some one else"
"G3 bhabhi she took the seven rounds around the holy fire with him he is her husband for seven lifetimes no piece of paper can tell me otherwise, what she is doing with my nephew Yash is a sin that thing in her womb is a sin"
"Really Maya then both Yash and Akash are sins also Prateek because I was still married to your bhayia and her married Radha then I got pregnant with Prateek when he was married to Radha none of us are divorced but Aarti is divorced"
"It is different for a man we women are thought to look the other way and accept our husband's faults or have you forgotten Bhabhi that a women is only suppose to have one husband in a lifetime"
Shoba intervened "Maya ji times have changed Prashant and Aarti are divorced in the eyes of the law; they have both move on and married other people and are very happy with their current life partners. Your ancient ways of thinking have many women in this country suffering at the hands of their abusive husbands and their families. Maya ji I want to know why do you hate Aarti so much is it because she got a second chance in life and she found her true soulmate and you did not get that chance being a widow at a very young age."
Maya was angry "How dare you cross you limits and speak to me like this"
SP who came and sat close by to play with his grand daughters said "Maya answer Shoba behan tell us clearly why do you hate Aarti bahu"
Maya was shocked she did not know her bahyia was close by and he heard their conversation she begun stammering "I.. I ...Don't..."
"Open your mouth Maya and tell us" continued SP when his sister went dumb he said "Nothing to say now a while ago you had plenty to say. Next time think before you opened your mouth to speak rubbish. Shoba behan is a guest here in our house so mind your manners, and don't go looking for trouble"
Aarti and Ishita were loudly celebrating Yash, Ansh and Akash's team victory but Paridhi who had come across to the big tent heard the interchange of words between Shoba and Maya then SP she returned and told her sisters in law about the tense atmosphere there.
Vidhi decided that it was time for lunch "Come Paridhi let us organise for lunch to be served while Aarti and Ishita went to inform all about lunch.
"Yash buaji was spreading her venom and bauji stopped her so things are tense over there"
"I bet she was saying nasty things about you and Prashant I knew it was not a good idea to have him here. I saw how both she and G3 ma were talking pleasant to Neda"
"Yash forget them and let us enjoy lunch with our kids and family"
Vidhi, Paridhi and even Ishita choose to eat with G3 and Mayaji the kids also joined them at their table they all tried to include the older ladies in the general conversation but Maya only spoke to Palak and Payel she ignored Ansh. While G3 answered in monosyllables to the bahus
The kids continued playing with the adults until after evening tea and snacks then all left for their respective homes. Pankaj and Vidhi asked Aarya and family to stay for dinner the agreed and ordered pizza for dinner much to Maya's horror. The four brothers and their wives were forming a close bond and they hoped that their G3 ma could also start showing some interest in reuniting the family. Radha kept a low profile and stayed mostly in the garden or terrace she did not want G3 to feel that she was encroaching in her home. SP spent his time chatting with his sons and playing with his naughty grandkids.
Back at home Aarya was just to tired after putting their naughties to bed so they decided to take a nice warm bath together to relax then sleep but Aarti's hormones started to go into high gear and Yash just could not help himself being so close to his hot sexy wife.
