Firstly thank you for this very light-hearted, beautiful, amazing, awesome story! it's beginning to be a close second to MTB, I am still stubbornly holding onto my love for it but this one is running a strong race 😆. I loved it; I do not know how many times I read the update but a grin like a silly girl every time I do!
Keeping to the theme of the story, Aarti's exit from his office can be likened with a storm that quickly passes yet leaves undeniable evidence at its wake: Yash is still under her effect even after she is gone. Then he worries for her well-being in this weather, gives his surprised brother his car keys to drive them to safety. Here he shows his release of the mundane, he does not care for the car any longer as his concern for Aarti takes over.
Once outside Aarti is still reeling about his ogling her which only she seemed to have noticed as Paridhi comes to Yash's aid, here she subconsciously reveals her attraction to Yash to her sister, voicing what he made her feel. Sure he lusted for her but she did too and she pins his attraction down to lust because she cannot fathom that he may feel anything else for her in so short a time. Yet Yash's insistence that Prateek drive them to where they have to be dispels her notion that he is lusting for her because he is looking out for their well-being. We also see her headstrong nature and determination when she opts to go for the interview despite the odds. One of the traits that attracted Yash to her when she came to her sister's aid.
I loved the next scene the most! His parents' reaction to his news is priceless! "No Suraj he's not running a fever" 😆 I really love this characterization of them as modern open-minded parents! It's also easy to see the easy bond they share with each other as a family.
His parents are of course dumbfounded by this news! The fact that he wants to marry a girl after one encounter tells them the depth of his feelings without his having to say it, especially to his mother. Here again Yash surprises Prateek by choosing to go with his motorbike. I think his feelings for Aarti set him free, to express himself without boundaries, the first of which is taking a right on his motorbike. And we of course learn that he intends to take his wild lady for a uhm... possibly wild ride! 😆 😉 if it's a prelude to their marriage, no one will be getting bored! 😊
The Dubeys wonder just what the Scindhias want only to get the shock of their lives. Their wild daughter caught the attention of the Yash Scindhia in just one encounter for him to want to marry her. His decision about Prateek/Paridhi quickly decides her father's judgment on his responsible nature. The other being that despite what he does not doubt Aarti's tirade in his office was he still fell for her; meaning he loved who she really was at first sight.
Then Aarti comes home with her hilarious continued tirade! Oh I really was in stitches at this point! I also loved her change of adjectives and cringed on her behalf knowing she was giving herself away, showing just how much he affected her too. Here everyone realizes that this potent attraction is mutual. ❤️
Awww her reaction is so endearing when she stumbles on the Scindhias in their house! I loved and laughed hard at how Gayatri quoted her speech when introducing Yash! "Sorry I have habit of forgetting things" simply priceless humor! It also made Gayatri realize that Aarti is right for him, especially when she asserted her opinion of their proposal with her outfit.
Our chatterbox is of course tongue-tied when she faces her prince charming, uhm I mean hoity-toity 😆 While Aarti relaxes Yash by ruffling him up, he shuts her up and slows her down in a moment she might have said more things in compulsion.
Surprise, surprise! He wants to marry her! Who does he think he is? In wanting to teach him a lesson she gets taught one herself. Not only did it increase Yash's attraction for her but she thought they would reject her due to her wild nature only to learn that she will be free to express herself: surprised by this open minded (future) mother-in-law of hers.
The said lady's suggestion makes her think she may subconsciously be receptive to the idea of marrying Yash and now he suggests a bike ride! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT THE MOST! I know it will be hot for sure!
Di, thank you once more for this amazing treat, now I can patiently wait for my favorite MTB.
