His popularity is not limited to a only one show or character like many other actors. Infact his roles have been so diverse that he has a new fan group for each of his characters. And his fan base comprises of all of these characters. So the ones who want to prove that his popularity is because of their fav character are offended if fans of any other characters are acknwoledged,which is ridiculous. Now if his identity revolved around a single character,it wouldnt have been the case,but since its not, they want GC exclusively for themselves,which is quite ridiculous.
But for Gurmeet all his fans from all his shows are equal,as it should be...And I never understood what biasness some fans keep talking of.Gurmeet has shown respect for all of his shows. I remember an old interview which asked about not so good trps of PV( when it was in fact getting TRPs of 2.7,and was no 1 show on Zee). He could have discredited his previous show,saying that it never got high trps and was never a top show, like others to prove their current venture better. But he politely pointed out that PV was doing very well for a new show,and was gradually gaining more popularity.Similarly in this twitter session,he was decent enough to actually acknowledge and appreciate all his costars,instead of naming one better than the other,like other celebs.
That is why I love this person so much. He takes all the muck,all the baseless attacks,yet never retaliates,is never rude ,and never makes a negative comment about anyone. It is amazing how he is always so positive and away from all the pityness and bitterness.And those who attack him should take a reality check before accusing him.
