I don't think the PH intended to end this season, I feel it's more of the channel's decision. They want TRPs after all ...

So well said about KS and GC. Never have I admired actors like the way I do these two and no it has nothing to do with how hot they look contrary to what a lot of people who loves to put these two down, keeps harping. But it had everything to do with the way they conducted themselves as human beings over the course of PV. I personally think towards the beginning KS got a much more raw deal and then the last week it was GC's turn. 😭 Yet, these two never stooped down to the level of the people who wanted to rip them of their self esteem. They worked harder to prove them wrong and by jove they did.

Yes, ArYa's story would be epic for me. It is one of the most untarnished love story I have ever come across. It still baffles me how devoid of ego and disrespect their relationship was and maybe that is why their story is coming to an end. Had they shown ArYa disrespectful to each other, abusive to each other then may be we would have been in the top 5 or 6 shows. 😆 But then would we have felt the same for ArYa like we do now. Honestly, when you look at their journey their relationship is so beautiful. They went through hell, yet once they saw the light and was able to break free of the chains that shackled them to the past there was no turning back for them. Aarti could have dumped Yash when he was being Mr Hulk. But she she persevered and it was because she stood by him that he was able to heal. When Aarti lied to Yash about Prashant, again he could have dumped her and she would have accepted it but he didn't. He stood by her and saw her through the difficult phase. Can there be a relationship as beautiful as this. 😳

I totally agree with you. There are many who love (or hate) GK based on their looks but I think it's GK's pure and clear souls that makes them the most beautiful people I have ever seen. True, they did receive a lot of flak, and they didn't deserve it at all. But like you have said, they never retaliated or anything and maybe that's why we love them sooo much! <3 What I would say though is that I wonder if there would be a pairing as rocking as GK's. They always stood up to each other and matched each other, in terms of performances. I would be looking forward to GK's new projects but the kind of acting partnership they have, that would be missed, alongside with their chemistry of course.

Hehe, the second paragraph made me laugh! 😆 Yes, their love-story is unique, blazing chemistry without those never-ending eyelocks/ push-pull-shoving up the wall kind of scenes! Do they rock or what?! 😎 And LOL, we were up in the top 5 shows, once upon a time, without those misunderstandings and petty fights. AarYa's love-story truly re-defined love-stories for me and I am so proud to have actually watched and followed their journey.

I was talking to Nina just now and both of us felt so bad for our leads, who have faced all the shit that anyone possibly could ever since the start of the show. They didn't deserve this. But then, I just read Gurmeet's latest message. He looked so fresh and happy that I involuntarily started to smile. It then dawned upon me that our GK are one of a kind. They are never discouraged by any road-blocks. Both are such positive-spirited people. They are so attached to the show and yet look at how bravely they are taking this, thanking their fans and telling them that they would be back with a better comeback. I wish them all the very best and may they excel in their careers, which I am sure they would. I don't know if I would ever get my GK back but wishful thinking, I hope I do, someday. I don't mind waiting for their comeback (together) because I know it would be worth the wait.

You should watch the video mix. Not only has the maker made it with such perfection but the scenes used would bring back such sweet memories. How far have Yash and Aarti come and how beautiful was their journey? If Yash Raj couples are the eternal love-bird kind of couples, then I would say that Yash-Aarti surpass them even. I have thoroughly enjoyed their journey and would treasure it for life! And with that, my tears have finally stopped flowing.

Hey Anu! 🤗 True, true! Like you and Nina, that's one thing that ran through my mind. Both of them went through so much grief when they took up the roles, that's why I really wanted PV to run it's originally intended timespan of about 2 years. But, like you, I just read about what Gurmeet said and how excited he seems to be for whatever is in store. They've really been such troopers and focused on making Yash and Aarti the best they could be. I have no doubt that he and Kratika will do brilliantly wherever their feet land. I don't know if we'll get them back together either. With the way their business cycles, probably not. But I do hope, as we've been saying, that they stay friends long, long after this. For me, that would be the best takeaway of it all. 😃

I will watch the video mix at some point. I promise. 😃 I just want to soak in the present in my head for a bit. We should totally do a video, picture, animation/gif retrospective during the finale week, though. I think I'll better prepped for it then.

Kirthi! WORD to both paragraphs of your posts. I never knew either Gurmeet or Kratika before PV, but I've grown to have so much respect for who they are as people and actors. I hope they never change. And, so true about Yash and Aarti. The Mittals crafted a beautiful love story that really went against the grain. While it may not be the formula others go by, their love story really challenges and changes the status quo, which awed us all.

this must be how a bad goodbye feels.. i can't seem to move on..i am a GC admirer from his last show and i wasn't really hurt that much when it ended. Damn! PV got me good differently. Completely agree with you girls, it was the respect they had for each other and the non-retaliation to all those crap that made us admire them thoroughly.

GC have started moving on in new projects, goodluck to him..And i hope we won't get that drought when it comes to Kratz although we already know she really tries hard to pick varying roles to enact.

Don't know Jac about this much either may be some reality show and yes I'm so happy for him

and wishing him good luck for all his future projects, but right now waiting to hear some news

about Kratika.. until then going to enjoy the remaining AarYa moments .

I have one wish though a joint interview of our GURIKA as a parting gift to all PV fans !

Jac, I know what you mean. Even I wanted PV to run for a longer while, not because I love Yash-Aarti/GK but because I felt that the show deserved to be on-air for a longer period of time. They showed us things in such a different manner. I would miss that. I would miss all the times when the CVs had transformed a typical cliched scene into something so different and lovable. But like they say, all good things have to come to an end. PV has to as well. My best wishes would be with the entire cast, especially GK.

But I do hope, as we've been saying, that they stay friends long, long after this. For me, that would be the best takeaway of it all. 😃

Call me selfish or whatever but this matters more than anything else to me. I don't know whether we would get to see this dynamic duo back together on-screen but I hope and pray that their friendship remains strong. I really do. And I shall still be optimistic and continue to hope to see them back together some day, because to be very honest, I don't think the journey has come to an end for Gurmeet-Kratika. In Kratika's words, the journey is just taking a turn, it's not over yet. They love to tease us don't they. We crave for a glimpse of them together, to see them having fun together but we don't get to see it that often. But when we get to witness those moments, we totally disregard the amount of time they made us wait for to see all those. I think that's what's going to be happening, once again. I do wonder who Gurmeet and Kratika's new co-stars would be and whether they would be able to create that kind of a magic (I don't think that would be possible though). Oh, and yeah, I am also wondering what Gurmeet's new project is about. Whatever it is, I wish him and Kratika luck! <3

EDIT -

Oh wait, Gurmeet is rehearsing for ITA. And he has accepted a new offer, but hasn't started shooting for that yet.
