i understand satyendra was in grief of losing her wife but why he blamed a poor child 😡
don't he understand aarti is a 'last nishani' of shobha 😔

but i know and i understand what aarti must have gone through as i have seen the same thing with someone i m really close
uff a glass hit on her chest 😭

but i love yash has always been their to support aarti even in childhood.
because of him she could go to school😊
even loved radha and aarti's uncle -aunty😊

but the worse is maya .i have seen in our society a women is one who tortures and harass other women more than men 😡 what need of her made her to tell aarti that she was a curse and all she is such a 🤬

superb updates di 👏
and do bear with my late comments pls

Miti...you took time out to comment on the chapter...that itself is reward, so don't apologize please.🤗

Thank you for liking the chapters. Well, Satya may not be evil, but he is a a very self-centered and rigid man, whose love for his dead wife borders on unnatural obsession.

I'm not one to read a story and have tears filled in my eyes
this part was so emotional I could actually visualize each scene .
Satya loved Shobha , no doubt but is Aarti not part of that love , I mean he should've treated her like a princess instead he chooses to despise her , Aarti must have heavenly strenght to undergo all this torture and bad treatment as a child .
I'm also glad Yash is finding out more about Aarti's past so that he can help her
This part of the story really touched me
thank you for creating such an outstanding script for your readers

Hey Ria...Yeah, that's why I wanted us all to have the happy family picture at the back of our mind when we face Aarti's unhappy past. Her self-esteem was the biggest casualty of her childhood...We'll have to wait and see how Yash helps her out of this lowness.

Thank you so much for the appreciation. It helped to know that the part was well accepted.

Indu - pal, apologies due first. I wasn't in a frame of mind to comment on your earlier part , and now here you are with its extension 😭.

Abuse of a child is one thing i do not hold with. Completely unacceptable - but a harsh reality too. And when its emotional and psychological abuse, its worse in a way because there are rarely any physical evidences of it.

This part reminded me so much of that old movie - Anupama. Sigh...i had a hard time holding back my tears when i saw that film - and i had a hard time with this update. So i can just feel for you as you are writing it pal.

Kat, my dear friend...you need never apologize to me.
I know, pal...I know I have kind of touched a very sensitive issue here. If I have to name one chapter that kickstarted Samarpan, I would say it is this one. I met a girl who went through similar trauma as Aarti a few days before the idea came to me. So, you see we do come across such instances right in our daily lives.

You are so right...psychological scars are hard to erase. Even after twelve years of being happily married to Yash, Aarti still feels the pangs of those days at times as if they happened recently. When she is disturbed, she still ties herself to him, afraid he will leave her. So, although one has moved on and is happy, it just needs a trigger for the memories to rush back.

Anupama is a classic movie. One of the best of Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Now that you mention it, I can see the similarities. I sure went into a pretty traumatic zone while writing this chapter...it wasn't easy, I tell you. I had to write about a totally indifferent and insensitive father, when I myself had the most wholesome relationship with my own father who passed away not long ago. My father remains my only best friend to date.

not saying it didn't make me equal parts angry and sad for aarti...but it didn't...oh i don't know the correct words. you're the wordsmith here...it didn't kill me. i could handle it, even though it hurt to see aarti like that
adored yash here
sad to say i know ppl like dubey females
fantastic as usual Indu :)

Rutu...yours was one reaction I was waiting with bated breath, knowing what your feelings were regarding the past. Thanks for the green signal pal...I breathe easy now. Aarti did get the raw end of the deal, but all was not dark...there were people who were there to help her and to care for her.

Thank you once again for keeping your faith in me.
