I always feel that in our society it's women, ( more than men) who mentally torture other women. Men can physically abuse women, but it's the continuous mental abuse and torture that's been inflicted by elderly women in our society😡. Satya is a fool for blaming Aarti for the untimely death of Shobha.

I admit that he loved Shobha more than his life, but why couldn't he see that Aarti was a part of Shobha and her last Nishani. Infact he should've treasured and loved Aarti more than anything else 😡😭.
No wonder Aarti was a quite person as she had to face and go through so much abuse all her life 😭.

Yash was, is and will always be Aarti's savior and protector. Because of Yash Aarti was able to get education. Loved their little scene together. Though Yash himself was so young at that time, he understood Aarti immediately. That was the best part for me.

OMG such a horrible way for Aarti to get that piece of glass hitting her chest and to get that life long scar. More than that physical scar, it's the mental scar that left a mark on Aarti 😭.

I am shivering just thinking about what Aarti must've gone through.

It was a very emotional and very beautiful update Indu 👏 😭 👏

*Sigh* Nikki, you put some good points there regarding how a girl child is treated in many parts of our society, even today.👍🏼 As for Satya, this is one dimension of obsessive love...a love that refuses to shift gears. He just couldn't get the idea of his head that Shobha lost her life in childbirth and that she had opted to have this child over a life with him.

Mental scars indeed...spot on there.

Yash and Aarti...they have a different sort of progress here...if you have noticed.

Thank you so much for the feedback. 😊

Aarti has a really heart-wrenching and tragic past. You have beautifully woven Aarti's pain in words. Her father is a jerk treating his daughter like that. Loved the way Yash told his father and mother that Aarti is intelligent, and because of him she started going to school.

Awww what a beautiful written, heartbroken update Pal 👏 👏 👏 ...I knew it was something like that Aarti went through as a child but reading how the entire family turned on her just for being born just broke my heart 😭 😭 😭 IMO her father's family were all ignorant 😡 😡

I loved how Suraj and Yash stood up for Aarti as well as Gayatri, it was great of them to point out how unfair they were being towards Aarti 👍🏼 👏

Aww Yash was such a sweetheart, I loved the way he reached out to Aarti and the shy way she said "Goodbye" 😃 Yash will always be Aarti's knight in shinning armor 😳 😳

Marvelous job my friend 🤗

Thanks pal...I breathe a sigh of relief.🤗
I just feel pretty satisfied at the moment that that came out just about OK...and it's not over yet.

The father's family was just behaving as per their belief...their rigid, superstitious belief. Between her father's rigid, obsessive love and the family's blind beliefs Aarti was the innocent victim. She was punished for no fault of hers whatsoever, and worse, made her believe that she herself was the offender.

Yash was always instinctive where Aarti was concerned, as the two interactions have projected. Let's see how their individual experiences affect their responses to each other when they finally meet as adults.😊

Thanks Saffi...A thumbs-up by a fellow writer is always more satisfactory. You are right...a bit of Aarti's past still remains. Hope I am able to do justice to it.

It was really a heart wrenching update

Not only her father but the whole family never wanted her

Happy that she had Yash and his family to support her 👏
