yesterday, i had this funny musings about the Scindhia boys:
Pankaj: favorite elder son as long as he obeys SP and in turn the siblings will obey his example..
Yash: favorite second son as long as he brings fame and good cognizant to the family..
Prateik: favorite youngest son as long as he keeps being the youngest and remains being just that
and now, Aakash: favorite illegitimate son as long as there is some dirty work by SP..😳😃

To SP, each one has a task of his own and must suit his purpose😉.. even when he fancied Aarti once, because she is just what he thought her to be: a widow...

You have understood the character of SP well! Beautifully put...great!😃

I have studied the Mahabharata for years now and I don't think I have ever really seen it in a show. We always see parallels to Ramayana, but never to Mahabharata. That is what makes this track so interesting.

My thoughts regarding who is Karan... I think it is Aakash for 3 reasons:

1) he is the illegitimate son of SP (fun fact Karan's father is Suraj and SP stands for Sun).

2) I believe Yash means glory. I associate glory in Mahabharata to Arjun

3) Karan only ever wanted Kunti's love, nothing more really. We will need to see some sort of sacrifice being made by Akash for Yash to really find out who is Karan and who is Arjun

I have always felt badly for Karan while reading the Mahabharata. He was a good man with good principles but society kept torturing him for his roots. If we look back o the Swamvar, it was said that Karan couldn't fight for Draupdi's hand in marriage because he was not a prince, even though he was able to lift the bow.

Now, what if that is the point of Aakash. He is there to show that even though i might be rustic, i still have a heart.

Actually in the whole thing I think Yash in Kunti - he did tell Prashant that they shared everything :-)

Why do i also get the feeling that this is also going to be a little bit liek Masoom. Who wants the kids to sing and dance to Lakadi ki Kati!

I think Yash is Arjun and Akash is Karna who holds a grudge against SP (Kunti) for abandoning him! So Bua is Shakuni and who will be Kaurava????!!!!

Thats a fabulous post!

I just read Mahabharata in college & all the critical essays kept saying Yudhistr was the hero & I strictly disagree. Though he was a dharam putra , he was not out and out righteous! How could he put his wife at stake when he had already lost everything 😕 How could he kept mum when Draupadi was molested during their exile!
While Karna was a man of principles though he supported the villains out of gratefulness .

You never know whats up with the CVs! Maybe Yash turn out be Karna aka illicit son 😳
