This Concept Is Actually Inspired By A Real Life Incident, It happened With My Mami, So Here I Am With This. Hopefully You Will Like It😛

And This Is In No Way Related To The Storyline In PV. Only The Characters Are The Same.

When Destiny Has It Its Way

"Any pregnancy is unlikely for you Aarti. Being a doctor yourself, am sure you are getting my point. As much as it's a hard fact,I will say that you can never conceive due to various complications. I hope you are understanding the problem."

*You can never conceive.*

These words kept repeating in Aarti's mind. She became all cold. All of a sudden, she felt numb and her senses stopped working. It was as if she was being plunged into freezing water. She tried her best to absorb Dr Maansi's words, still she could swore that she was slowly freezing to death. The very thought of never being able to give Yash a child - his child, pricked her heart. They always wanted to have a small cute family of theirs, with one son and one daughter since as much as Aarti wanted a son, Yash wanted a daughter. So, they finally came to a compromise that they would have a son and a daughter with both of them wishing for the other's wish to come true first. But then, today, when Maansi told her the harsh fact of her life, it was as if her whole world crumbled into pieces in a matter of few seconds.

She will not be able to conceive. No, no, no, NO, NO!!!

2 days earlier.

"Gayatri, you are really lucky. You have got such a loving husband, caring sons and 3 pretty and cultured daughter in laws. Wish we also had a similar fate."

As per the monthly routine, Gayatri had again arranged for the get together among her friends at her place. And as usual, all were busy complimenting her and praising her daughter in laws, who were all busy in serving the elderly women.

Aarti was serving them tea when Mrs Kapoor said:

" Waise Gayatri, ab tumhe nahi lagta ke Aarti bahu ko humein khush kabhri sunani chahiye. After all, shaadi ko kaafi time laga hain na."

As all were busy teasing her, Aarti felt a red hue slowly colouring her cheeks. Being the shy person she is, she politely excused herself and went inside.

Well, Kapoor Aunty was right, she told herself. Shaadi ko chaar saal ho chuke hain and then even Yash was willing to start their family. So, she didn't see any problem.

Deciding to let Yash know about her decision she was about to go back to the living room when she suddenly started worrying. She actually wondered why hasn't she fallen pregnant yet. Well, they had a very active physical life and ever since they started discussing about their family plans, they stopped taking their precautions, then why!!!!! Being a doctor herself, she felt that something might be wrong. Still, she wished she was wrong and so decided to go for her check up while she will be at work in the hope of not getting any bad news.

Back to present.

Sitting on the armchair in their room, the soothing flicker of the fireplace was slowly massaging warmth into Aarti's exhausted body after a whole day of crying.

The moment she got home after knowing about her *condition*, she thanked her stars that no one was at home at that very moment as she surely was not in a state of providing an explanation. She just entered the bedroom, slammed the door shut and jumped on the bed, while pearls kept dropping from her eyes. By the afternoon, her eyes were completely puffed and red. As soon as she heard the clock strike 8, she somehow managed to regain her composure and decided to freshen up because she didn't want Yash to know anything as of now. She needed some time to come to terms with this harsh reality of her life. She was scared about something, something she herself didn't know.
