after returning from mumbai , yash is only and only thinking of arati
he himself wants to move forward with arati but his guilt seems to take over him .
hope this fight gives him the purpose to live life happily without any negative baggage

I felt the same! In fact she also didn't tell him directly anything, she just spoke to herself! In the ring, Yash didn't think about anyone. I guess we r so eager to see him fall in love with aarti, we keep reading more into the scenes. But while fighting, Yash was only fighting, he had promised that he would play honestly and thats what he was doing!
