The mother and daughter sequence was fantastic. Kudos to the writers of the show for that powerful scene. It is time for the "Indian nari" to spout a different dialogue and I am so glad that the pragmatic nature of the convo appealed to Arti and she decides to 'break" her fast to ensure greater harmony and hopefully love with Yash. Frankly, I was thrilled with that convo because in all the 4 generations of women that I have interacted with in my extended family, we were more pragmatic than all the rona dhona shown on tv. For the first time I could totally relate with the no nonsense dialogue of Shobha's as it appeared so real!

As for Yash's behavious- it is obvious he has fallen for Arti and he is feeling guilty and is acting out like a spoilt brat.

it was really an unexpected way to end the fast 😊 and i gather that it's very different from all who have used the same scene... maybe we'll get to see Yash making amends for that soon..

that would have been so cliched and would have spoilt Shobha's convo. so, no, am glad that Yash did not do anything. I am glad that Shobhas showed Arthi how Arthi is not behaving in her usual strong manner. Arti was a non nonsense woman before her arrial at Scindia house. Love does not mean you go weak, but you gain trength. And that, in a nutshell was what that episode was all about.

Yup that was one of a kind scene..I was impressed...all cliches that we see around be it Hindi movies or Indian Telly, were given a fitting reply...but Geeta Tyagi needs to get rid off some of her histrionics...She overdoes it all the time...this is my opinion entirely

OMG! Blokes is that you! It's been a while, not sure if you remember me. 😃 So so nice to see you here in PV.

As for the convo, yup I loved that scene. I was waiting with a resigned sigh for the same cliched wife keeping vrat - forcing husband to break the vrat - falling sick kind of scenario. And was absolutely thrilled that the CVs took the route they did. But like some mentioned Geeta Tyagi can go a little overboard with her very theatrical portrayal of certain scenes. But, I loved the essence of that conversation that is get over feeling like a matyr. What is important is to make sure you build on your relationship rather than force your husband to do something he does not want to just to prove a point to yourself and everyone around you. In Aarti and Yash's case, these traditions and its symbolisms do not mean a thing until Aarti and Yash start valuing their relationship and what they mean to each other.

I really hope we get to see more of you on this forum. 😃

absolutely aditi. u know what i feel about it.😆
and thats why the scene lost its charm for me!
I loved the concept. But Shobha's lecture killed it for me! and Aarti's" main Jeeungi" at the end was way way OTT as well!😆( I am not talking abt Kratika, she was perfect. I mean the dialogue was OTT).
I mean instead of connecting with the scene, and feeling overwnelmed, I burst out laughing when aarti talked about how she would LIVE! Was she planning to Die, really?!

🤣🤣 Ria, on a serious note I think the death phrase was meant in an emotional sense and not literal. 🤓
