Ria some one from the PV team might be stalking this forum m assuming...so they should seriously consider this feedback...its high time she cuts it down...the scene loses its charm entirely...Zaheeda would have given that scene the perfect punch and it would have been even more impactful than it is currently...Not that I do not like Geeta as an actor...but she needs to improve ASAP...is she on any social networking site by any chance? aur haan dialogue writers of PV tend to go OTT at times and Geeta just adds more to it 😳

🤣🤣 Ria, on a serious note I think the death phrase was meant in an emotional sense and not literal. 🤓

Kirthi- I know That😆...but to use it emotionally also was quite OTT! I mean Aarti could have said Main apne rishte ko theek karungi, but the way she stressed on main " Jeeungi"...( listen to it again)...I was reminded of Samana's Martyr complex for Aarti😆

Aditi, no idea about Geeta being on social networking site, but I hope someone is stalking!😆I also think Geeta is a very good actor, she is really good in some scenes, but when it comes to such emotional scenes, she is always melodramatic!

U r so right about Zahida. she is awesome!

Haan, woh to hai. 😆

Do you remember that scene right after Palak's bday fiasco where Yash is about to walk out after asking SP about Arpita's shraad and being denied? Shobha goes and imparts her wisdom to Yash and in that scene she over-quivers her upper lips.🤣 I have no idea how she did it but instead of the scene touching me emotionally I was literally rolling with laughter.

yeah- it as a bit overdone- but I liked the "message"- it was time, I think, for Indian viewers to stop seeing these pativrata types who silently bear the burden of sorrow and even go hungry like what Arti was planning before her mom cut her short on that score!

OMG! Blokes is that you! It's been a while, not sure if you remember me. 😃 So so nice to see you here in PV.

As for the convo, yup I loved that scene. I was waiting with a resigned sigh for the same cliched wife keeping vrat - forcing husband to break the vrat - falling sick kind of scenario. And was absolutely thrilled that the CVs took the route they did. But like some mentioned Geeta Tyagi can go a little overboard with her very theatrical portrayal of certain scenes. But, I loved the essence of that conversation that is get over feeling like a matyr. What is important is to make sure you build on your relationship rather than force your husband to do something he does not want to just to prove a point to yourself and everyone around you. In Aarti and Yash's case, these traditions and its symbolisms do not mean a thing until Aarti and Yash start valuing their relationship and what they mean to each other.

I really hope we get to see more of you on this forum. 😃

🤗 Of course i remember from CB days :) Well, I rarely post these days- an odd post here or there. But, yeah this one scene propelled me to post as it was so "hut ke"! I like this serial as it is a bit more mature owing to the storyline- the lead pair are not teen agers in love or in their early twenties with a lot of "eyes-in-eyes" stuff- they have kids, they have responsibilities- family, job etc. and they have to lay to rest old "ghosts" and create a new path forward. It will take a lot of getting used to and a lot of adjustments from all sides. At least we have the mil in the right corner now- that terrible jobless aunt is irritating enough.
