@Indu...

Lovely take as usual..And I agree that your takes have always been positive and poetic without being judgmental about any aspect...

I also agree with your point (as also @sam's, I think) that Shobha's advice is based off of incomplete information, and that Aarti's plan is keeping only the children and in this case, Palak's happiness in mind. I think @skanda called Shobha's advice a red-herring and that is a pitch perfect word/phrase for it.

@saf...Thanks to you. I liked your almost systematic takes where nothing is missed...

@About Palak's reservations regarding the party : I feel in this case Yash is a clear escapist 🤔...When a child looses her mother and sees everyone mourning on that particular day every year , then natural tendency of any child will b to feel that she wont celebrate anything on that day and Palak did the same but here as a father it was Yash's duty to get Palak out of this guilt by making sure her birthday is celebrated as usual from next year which Yash never bothered to do and just assumed that ok Palak does not want to celebrate and so lets not celebrate ... It was more like Yash's secret wish not to celebrate on that particular day and when Palak took a decision based on whatever she felt around her , Yash was more than pleased to accept it ... I m not even talking about other family members since they r just a third party while Yash is the one to make sure Palak is out of this trauma and guilt rather than encouraging it further ...
I find some real similarities between Aarti's way of parenting Ansh and Yash's way of parenting Palak 🤔...Just how Aarti used to encourage Ansh's fears out of her poessessive towards Ansh since being a single mother she always had a fear of loosing Ansh too just how she lost Prashant same way I can see that Yash too is encouraging Palak's trauma and guilt by making these statements in front of Palak like "come back Arpita..noone can handle Palak better than u" or saying how he knew Palak wont agree out of his own guilt and insecurity since he himself feels responsible for Arpita's death somewhere ...The mistakes which Aarti did in Ansh case , I can see Yash doing same mistakes in Palak case 🤔..
Ansh was scared of going to a new school and we saw Aarti too opposed it rather than explaining to Ansh that mayb this change is for his betterment since his father will never take a wrong decision 😊...Same way today Palak is scared of celebrating her birthday on that day and we saw Yash too opposing it with the excuse of Palak wont agree rather than explaining to her that we need to move on and celebrate this birthday so that Arpita can feel at peace 😊...Its more like both Yash and Aarti are trying to put their own fears into their respective kid's mind ...
But the best part is in both cases we saw opposite parents coming to the rescue 😃...Yash made Ansh more confident and strong while I can see Aarti doing the same with Palak now 😳...Hopefully Aarti will succeed in her mission 😊 ...

Interesting discussions all 👏👏
@Aparna :Nice take 👏👏...I think Yash wants Aarti to take over as a mother in PayPal's life but his main problem is like u said one part of his mind and heart is still stuck up in that past incident of Arpita death and so even if he wants to move on , he is not able to do so ...Mayb the impact of Arpita death would not hv been so much extreme if she had not died right in front of his eyes ,..that made the whole difference in Yash's life and way of thinking I feel 🤔...
@Veena :It might b not exactly like the Ansh kidnapping case , but Aarti's plan might backfire I feel if she try to b Arpita ...Shobha already gave a indication that she is doing wrong by trying to b Arpita and then like u said "bharosa" word was repeated too many times ...but I feel a patch-up of mother-daughter will b shown as one of the emotional high point in the serial where Aarti will b her real self mayb 😳
@Kashish :DC is more hara bhara when we all hv some issues with the episode ...yesterday we all r more or less in agreement 😆...and I agree if all characters r picture perfect , then there is no story 😆...its all about the journey from a flawed character to being flawless and thats what makes a perfect story in the end 😳...in fact when a episode is not perfect ,we hv more discussions or debate in DC itself compared to a perfect episode 😆
@Saf :Wonderful take 👏..And I loved the way u described that starting scene which mayb many of us forget to describe but it was indeed very symbolic the way Yash stood turning his back against the room which is more or less like a Arpita museum 😆 and mayb this is an indication that he wants to move on but feels stuck up out of his guilt and then when Aarti comes with water , Yash could guess her presense even without turning back which is again an indication of being true soulmates 😳
@Indu :Awesomee take 👏👏👏...I loved the way u described the main objective of Aarti to get Palak out of her shell and give her life back to her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...And the way Aarti goes around convincing every single family member in the house was really commendable 👏👏... All she wants is to make things normal in the house like it was when Arpita was alive and for that she can go to any extent even if she has to change her own identity which might b wrong when we see it as a viewer but from a character's POV , she is not making any judgements there and she herself admits it that she is not judging whether she is right or wrong , she just wants to bring Palak back to her normal life 😳
@Angel :Yup Palak is still waiting for her mother to come back 😭..I doubt she even knows that noone can return from heaven ...as a child she was told Mother went to God's house and since then Palak might b waiting for her return ..mayb a part of her mind knows Arpita will never return but as a kid she wants to b in denial and wait for her mother's return because if an adult like Yash keeps saying come back Arpita then its no shock that Palak too is still waiting for her mother to return with a hope 😭
@Redeye :The CVs will b feeling proud for sure if they r reading DC since both u and Aparna today hv praised the episode 😆...I guess CVs of this show r better off without any such poll gimmicks like they did last week ...its clear that they hv a planned story in mind and they r going accordinly , so they need not do those last week type gimmicks to mislead the viewers
About Aarti becoming Arpita in terms of physical appearence , I guess this is certainly going to b big cliff hanger on Friday's episode when Aarti might appear in Arpita's get-up followed by a shocked face of Palak and episode ends with no precap 😆😆

I guess if we viewers like this part of the Aarti Arpita thing we may actually see the drama continuing over to next week too like we saw the Ansh drama extending over two weeks. So i guess they will leave the friday episode at a dramatic mode so that we are full of tension over the weekend.

Fingers crossed only hope they will deal with it sensibly and positively in the end.

@Jyo: Wonderful insights regarding parenting. 👏I guess that's why they gave opposite-gendered kids to both parents, so that these kinds of issues can be tackled. 😊Both were single parents trying their best under the circumstances, and when they came together they were bound to step on each other's shoes as parents...Individually, they handled their children's issues as per their parental role...Aarti's soft nurturing led to an emotionally secure and stable, though pampered, Ansh; on the other hand, Yash acted typically as a father would with his daughters...Though he gave them lot of physical cuddles and kisses, he didn't know how to sit and have a talk with them...Reflexes, so typical of a mother, were lacking in him. Therefore, these reverse parentings will make them abler parents, and eventually lead to their handling the kids as a team. 😛

@Phal :This whole struggle of Aarti to win Palak's heart might work for trps because viewers want to see more of how AarYa r trying to win their kid's heart or the family dynamics of all 5( AarYa and kids) rather than unwanted drama of Bua and co ... 🤔...
@Indu :I agree , I m sure CVs hv this whole track of Yash-Ansh bonding and Aarti-Palak bonding at the scripting stage itself when they decided to go for opposite-gendered kids ... I agree that Ansh lacked that physical gestures of a parent's love but was strong on emotional level while Palak hv got all those physical gestures like kisses from her dad or her dad playing with her every weekend but she lacks that emotional bonding ... Its when AarYa come together , they complete those incomplete needs of their respective kids 😳...Today Ansh has a father with whom he can play , learn fights and do all those boyish stuffs and mayb in future Palak-Payal will hv a mother with whom they can share those girly emotions 😳
