@Jyo: That is sad about Sarwar. He was the perfect Prashant. It must be so frustrating for a PH like the Mittals, when they plan everything so meticulously and then one thing falls out of place. But actually it is good that it was the Prashant character because he is easier to replace. Imagine if Shweta Munshi had to be axed, what a fiasco that would be with all those blow-ups! 😕🤣

GC then would hv been asked to do some more photoshoots with new Arpita 😲🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...So yeah repalcing the actor playing Prashant ka role is easier 😆😆😆

@Indu: A lovely, poetic take as always! I especially loved the stumbling block, stepping stone analogy because it suits Aarti so perfectly! You know? By trying to be Arpita for the girls, Aarti is being most Aarti. It is her style of parenting to put a pleasant twist on the truth and present it so that the faith of a child is not shaken. We have seen her do it time and again with Ansh, with the letters, when Yash brought him the wrong toy, when Gayatri locked him up etc... So by playing Arpita, she is easing the burden of harsh reality off Palak's shoulders and in essence giving her back her childhood. I really hope I am reading this right!

@Red: I think that is the most glowing review of an episode I have heard from you but I cannot deny one word of it! You are just as candid as ever only the episode clarified certain things that were breeding skepticism and doubt, which follows naturally. 😊

One thing that you pointed out in your take, though which I am not sure about is what Palak meant to show when she drew a mother into her family portrait. I was under the impression that she was drawing Arpita herself and begging her father to bring her back. Palak by this time has learned to live without Arpita, content, though not happy, in the status quo but Aarti's presence and Bua's misguidance has led her to resurrect her mother once more and regress into an earlier stage of grief, which was never dealt with and so never achieved closure. That is how I interpreted the drawing anyway. But I do agree that on a subconscious level she is accepting Aarti's presence because that need to complete the family portrait has been renewed. From her previous drawing we saw that she was content with Yash, Payal and her as a family but now her drawing needs a mother. That need itself, borne I think from seeing Aarti as a mother to Ansh (remembering the way Palak looked at them eating ice cream), is a huge step forward for her.
