Oh yes! Hope it stays this way or is at least the prevailing style for Yash's attire most of the time from now on! I will allow a little bit of relaxation of standards for his kurta, but that's it 😆.

@Aparna: I have nodded through all your words about Yash...I have been saying this for the past two days now...Bad Yash!!! At the same time, he is the perfect example of an imperfectly perfect member of Indian male papa species...so I grant him his illogical logic of respecting Palak's wishes. I don't think he has given much thought beyond that. He is only giving in to his daughter's whims and is probably scared that if he doesn't she'll again retract into her shell (typically a father's thinking)...wrong strategy, I agree. He is (what my husband was and still is😛) totally ignorant of a child's ways... that's why in the precap he looks so surprised at Palak's changed demeanor (he, as a father, could never bring that change...but Aarti, thinking as a mother, could). Probably he started tending to them in his limited capacity only after Arpita's demise...so slipped many a times in spite of best intentions.
As for the rest of the family, they were only kowtowing his wishes...they are as it is too scared to ruffle his feathers.

@redeye, your fantasy party sounds awesome. In fact, I got carried away in some of the imagery and am hoping it does play out like a mardi gras kind of now you see now you don't deal. Either ways, doesnt seem like Palak will come outta the event all happy - although I think the party will not go in vain, this may end up making Yash aware of how traumatized his kid is...anyway, what do I know - dont exactly have mind reading in my resume.😆

@Angel, nice observation. Aarti does seem like she is thinking on her feet and building on previous strengths. The Scindhias should all commend her just for her enthusiasm in making this relationship work.

@Melodious..I was gonna say, what abt the see through kurtas but I guess we have to allow him a few peekaboo costumes ;)

The drawing and her pronouncement to her dad that there's going to no letter writing this time was nicely done by the CVs. Aarti has already made significant inroads into Palak's heart, yet the mind (thanks to Bua and G3) is still rationalizing between what she hears from her original caregivers and what she sees and experiences at the hands of the new caregiver. Kratika's expressions of surprise, pride and satisfaction when she sees that there is a mother in the drawing making the family complete were simply fantastic. Way to go, Kratika!

Yash is surprised to see the drawing and is struck speechless when Palak asks a profound question about Arpita being happy with the new situation. A turning point for Yash... If he said yes, he would be acknowledging that he is moving on which, to him, on the surface would be a falsehood, yet underneath a growing truth; and if he said no, he would certainly be acting as a deterrent or even preventing Palak from moving on. That was classy, CVs!

wow I need to watch the episode again...was too busy looking for Yash's reaction to Aarti.

@redeye - i'm glad i read your thoughts on the episode...

Paridhi, the guru, was absolutely thrilled with her new chela , Aarti, shining in her interaction with G3. And G3 (what an actress!) can't figure out this new Aarti and looks with suspicion at Aarti's flowery praises. But she recovers to remind Aarti of the various conditions - the 3-month deal, even if no joy, no tears either in Palak's face and so on.

lol... i was wondering if anyone would catch on that... paridhi looked very proud of her student... i almost expected her to give aarti a pat on her back...

@Aparna...

😆 I am fantasizing, am I not? But I am becoming more and more convinced that it will be a success for Palak... for two reasons that I see now. 1. The child's tragedy and her fragility has reached all the viewers' hearts and even Aarti will never be forgiven if she crushes the child with her themed party, given everyone's advice to the contrary, and 2. if it is not a success, it would be horrendous and irrevocably catastrophic for Aarti- 3-month deal or not, Yash himself might escort her out the door.

However, the party will not go in vain for the naysayers because someone will be left incredibly upset and furious and that'd be Yash. Well, in his case, all I can say is - Deal with it...😛

Hey, everyone's allowed a fantasy..esp if it involves play-acting and such good looking characters.
Fingers crossed, hopefully no more cringe worthy torture of anybody...if it is Yash that's miffed, maybe thats not so bad..Aarti can change ploys now and make up to him real good.

Okay, will go to bed now and pretend I didnt type that. Good night/time of the day peeps.

Palak will definitely change for the better after this party. This Aarti/Arpita ruse will positively bring Aarti closer to Palak. That has been her sole objective regarding this whole party build-up, culminating in her assuming Arpita's "guise." Yes, Shobha did voice her apprehension...and yes, this might not go well with Yash and few others...but one must not forget that Aarti will assume the persona of Arpita, the mother and not Arpita, the wife...That is why I feel Shobha's fears were misplaced in this case. We must not forget that Shobha is looking toward a normal marital life for Aarti...but Aarti is very clear about her spacing with Yash...and Shobha is not really aware of that. As far as Yash is concerned, he might get upset at first...but Aarti will definitely put across her point, reiterating that she guised as Palak's mom and not as Mrs Arpita Yash Scindia...period. But this track has all the signs of paving the way for Yash's healing as well. With his growing admiration for Aarti, he will start looking at his attachment toward Arpita more objectively.
