What was d need of Bua in this otherwise beautiful serial?

I haven't watched the episode, but I was disappointed to read that Vidhi was telling Aarti that she should be like Arpita. Aarti has her own charm and will make PayPal love her as their own mother. I'm glad that Yash believes Arti can win his daughters' love just by being herself. Yash's wife died three years ago, didn't she? So how would PayPal even remember that much about her? They were still way to young about 2 or 3 years old, right? They probably don't even remember their mother that much but only because Yash keeps Arpita's memories alive. And of course, the evil Bua there to poison the children's mind. Can someone tell me why it looks like Palak is more affected than Payal when it comes to Aarti? And did you guys also notice that after the new Payal came in, she hardly has any dialogue? Payal was the older sister right? I remember Palak calling her Payal didi, but now the new girl looks so young so she can't be didi anymore.
