A random thought just hit me.
When Aarti said a kid can study by the light of "lamppost" if they've a mind to study. Did Aarti study by the light of a lamppost when she was a child???😲😔. Aaartiii! Why, why is an adorable lovable girl like her put through so much??? I have a feeling she was talking directly from the heart right then. If only Yash wasn't so single-minded, he could open his eyes and see why Aarti is so clingy with Aash.

Just a couple of points to mention, otherwise not too keen to say much. I will respond to other takes.

1. The CVs do it yet again...go slightly overboard. As someone predicted (Samana?), we expected Yash to come a cropper soon, but this was too soon, and he goes too much of out-of-character, to do so. What's the need for it?

2. As for Yash's behavior, what bee is in his bonnet? I don't get it. Unless, there's a deeper mystery to his reacting like a psycho, I'd say he became his Mama's boy and Papa's true scion, in one swoop. Wow, what was with all the gyaan and lecturebaazi!

EDIT: One more. I propose that Palak and her sidekick Payal, be given entry as members of the Dragon Club. Palak is G3 and Buaji rolled into one.

@redeye: I don't think Yash is going to accept defeat so easily. He's very one-track minded. I'm sure he won't even believe the girls are responsible until Ansh's teacher tells them Ansh was in school that day. Oh he will take responsibility for finding Ansh, and he'll hold himself responsible "as a father", but not because he has done any wrong. It'll turn into a whole "ansh ran away" thing until its revealed Palak is responsible. Then the family will be obsessed with punishing Palak, instead of getting at the root cause, which is their own damn selves.
I think this whole Clash of Titans is going to go on for atleast a couple weeks before settling down some.

I know the Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh did as he was very poor.

I may be thinking too out of the box here but I feel Yash's behaviour the past couple of days also has a lot to do with his OCD. Perhaps one facet of this OCD is that he wants to see a 'perfect family' image at all costs. Which is why he is so extra keen to get Ansh to fit in .. to get along with his family and stay 'ghul milke' with his daughters and everyone else at the Scindia House.
What do you guys think? It just came as a thought because clearly nothing has been close to 'normal' for Yash ever since this marriage and especially because of Ansh .. Ansh/Aarti sort of brought a sense of natural and homely feel to this house and since that is sort of not normal in the Scindia dictionary they feel everything is out of place and should be set right back soon enough.

My mom used to study by candle-light. And she would only be allowed so many, so she had to ration it almost. Her hard work payed off though. She got accepted to the best boarding school in the country. I could just picture her nodding in agreement during that scene. Anyone who has the will to study, will find a way.
Breaks my heart to see Aarti like that though, alone, and forced to study by streetlights.

@Z: I wouldn't name it OCD, but yes you are right when you say it is a die-hard effort by Yash to steady the cart and get it to move as before...before he got married. But he is a man in a hurry...and that is where he is erring...he wants results pronto. In the process he is unsettling Aarti/Ansh more. On the other hand, Prateik, who is also in the same boat, is biding his time. Even his wife is rebelling...but since that rebellion is still hidden under covers of duplicity, he has time. Yes, the Scindia boat has rocked...it had to, after a double marriage...but who will make the whole lot understand that frigid is brittle and warm is malleable.

^I think Yash's OCD personality has a little something to do with this too. He's too single-minded with it, for it be coming from anywhere normal lol
That guyyy, what to do??? He's just unpredictable sometimes. I've never seen a lead character (or any character) like him before.

I wonder of this same OCD behavior mixed with his tiny arrogance got to Arpita? I kno that's totally unrelated but the mystery is killing me.

Omg I know! The mystery about his first-wife is killing me. There was something off there, and I want to know what.
From the scenes shows so far though, it seemed like Arpita indulged his OCD-ness. The way that Aarti was scrambling to do before this whole school change thing.
