not only Lakshmibai there were many courageous yet traditional in Indian history and everywhere else. And even in todays' scenario there are many for example some journalist in Pakistan( Jahida Hina), Mukhtaran Mai and some women village heads in rural India!!!!!

Combo of tradition plus modern thought is just out of world and wonderful satisfying thing!!!!

ya very true. u have to be very balanced always in real life. u can't go beyond ur culture bt at d same time u can't follow some outdated ruthless customs blindly. this is what we called thoughtfulness. u have to understand what is right & what is wrong.

In either case I don't think a pallu over a head is the only element in show that can be used to label a show regressive. You must look at the overall message of the show. It is about accepting the fact that women can remarry, that being a divorcee doesn't mean the women is immoral, and that there is nothing wrong with falling in love for the second time.

that is what i want to say yaar if this subject is unique. then why not d other things???? why they want support of this PALLU stuff???
