Besides hitting out at the gym for regular workouts, actor Gurmeet Choudhary also turns to karate to bring some variety in his workout routine. The actor would now be seen teaching some of his martial arts tricks to kids in the show Punarvivaah. In fact, it was Gurmeet, who suggested writer-producer Shashi Mittal to introduce a karate scene in the story line where in Yash (his character) can bond with his wife's son Ansh over some self-defnse tricks. "I think that being a dad to a small boy can be an uphill task at times, especially when he has known no paternal love before. What would be a better way for a father to bond with his son than over a macho sport like karate! While I teach Ansh the moves, not only will I get a chance to work out but I will also put to use the years I spent in training for karate," said Gurmeet.
The show airs on weekdays on Zee TV at 10.30 pm.

Wow !!! This is fantastic...

Infact in my opinion, I think all three kids, should be shown learning Karate from their Dad.

This way, a Father, will get to spend some good quality time with his kids and get to know them better and hence be the "Best DAD".

I love this idea, it will give a message to us viewers too, to encourage kids / students to go for karate class and learn self defence, which is really very important, in today's world
