@iMadz: i agree with you...though i am not a fan of ''intimate scenes'' i have seen them in many international shows, movies...but i don't want to watch them with my family...someone said that if they want work in entertainment industry, then they should be prepared for it...i think, this article meant only the tv industry which is family oriented...its not about the whole ''entertainment industry''...so, there is no need to be too judgemental about a certain actor...

Roop Tere Mastana was NOT intimate. It had a 'hot' portrayal because the leads were dressed in a certain manner and the setting was arranged in a specific way. Other than stroking cheeks and pushing tendrils of hair away - I saw NOTHING intimate. Heck, I was sitting on the edge of my chair rooting for them to get an inch closer (To my utter frustration).

I don't mind intimate scenes so long as the actress does not go too far with the 'sounds'. Goodness me I recall a show whereby the consummation was taking place and the heroine was sighing a bit too loudly. Ha-awkward! So long as I don't feel like I'm watching Jism (although I don't mind glimpses of John Abrahams forever beauty) or Julie - then it's all good.

Hell, I'm content with GC's naked torso and naked naked naked hands. The moment he dons on a glove, I'll go on a hunger strike! 🤣

Intimate scenes aren't "western." They are just a part of whatever role the actor is playing. I don't think intimacy is a wetern ideal; it is just a human way to express love... If executed in a classy manner, there is no vulgarity in it.

I live in the US and the only reason I think they are viewed in such a negative light is because they are so hyped up. If people stopped created such a ruckus around it, it wouldn't have such strong opinions around it.
