Once again an absolutely brilliant update! First of all, a big virtual hug for actually listening to us needy readers and updating another chapter before the weekend was over, it was much, much appreciated! 🤗
Second, this was an extremely entertaining chapter! Really I was cracking up through almost the entire thing! Yash's inner monologue was flawlessly done, the sarcastic comments he was making about himself and the people around him were just epic! And the restlessness and anger he felt when Aarti didn't show up to say goodbye was so significant, it shows that she has somehow taken over his life without either of them even realizing it, and now that his eyes are starting to open a little, he is beginning to absolutely hate the indifference he is getting from her, it agitates him, makes him do irrational things like drive all the way to Lucknow! He has never felt this out of control where his feelings are concerned, and he doesn't know how to handle this change, thus the reason behind his desperate attempts to leave town, which were just as hilarious!
I think one of my favorite things about this chapter, was the conflicting way both Yash and Aarti were perceiving each other. When Aarti asked Yash if she could help him pack, he was already at his nerves end not knowing what was going on with him, so he snapped at her, told her that he didn't need her help, but the second she turned away, he realized that this wasn't what he had wanted at all. Despite his refusal, he wanted her to be there, just in case, like a wife. So even though his brain still refuses to acknowledge it, his heart has started accepting Aarti as his wife, and the things he has internally begin to demand of her are a clear proof of that!
And on the other hand there is Aarti, man I felt so bad for her here! Just when saw the first ray of light hit her otherwise dark life, it was taken away from her in one quick go! She feels like she has overstepped her boundaries once again, and that thought kills her, because she firmly believes that Yash will never be able to accept her as his wife! She is constantly thinking about him and what makes him comfortable, so to know that she did something to put him in an uncomfortable situation was eating her alive! So here, it seems that Aarti's mind seems to have unconsciously started to accept her role as a wife in Yash's life, but her heart won't allow her to think that way, not because it's what she wants, but because she thinks that's what Yash wants! So all in all, they're both in a very twisted place right now, and I can't wait to see how you're going to unwind this!
Lastly, what a beautiful glimpse into their future through that family at the airport. The sense of calm that scene brought to Yash is a clear indicator that he has taken leaps and bounds from in moving from his past to his present and thinking about his future! And the fact that he hadn't thought about Arpita in days just goes on to show that she has finally found her place in his life, and that is just in his memories, something that are cherished but are not obsessed over! Kinda hated the guilt that came along with it, but I suppose that's natural and hopefully this feeling actually marks the beginning of his awareness of what he feels for Aarti!
Once again a brilliant update, I can't wait for the next part, as usual, so here's to hoping you'll be able to update soon!
