*gapes in awe at the update on the screen*
*Edited!
I'm so addicted to this fanfic of yours, Mira...It's SO beautifully written that I can see the actors from the show as I read...It's so easy to picture Gurmeet and Kratika as Yash and Aarti in each and every part, and that makes for extremely delightful reading! A treat for the mind's eye! 😍 Thank you so much for writing this! 👏
Distracted?! If only Pankaj bhaiyya knew! He was going mad! Imagining things'.tasting things, sensing things, things he couldn't possibly have tasted or sensed'What the hell had come over him?
Ahaha, Yash. I'm going to keep saying this: Yash's reactions are too cute. His efforts at trying to jerk out of his "mad" state with little success are simply hilarious. Waise, the Scindia brothers would have a field day if they knew, wouldn't they? 😛 😆
Priceless mental image here: To his family's surprise, Yash seemed to have uncharacteristically large appetite for his rajma-chawal that night.
(Poor man, he's fighting a losing battle, isn't he? I wonder what Aarti was thinking at the dinner table at that moment...Was she as lost in thought as he was?)
Aarti's thoughts about the previous day's events: Such a beautiful part! Each and every word is perfect, but this specific bit warmed my heart the most and brought a happy smile to my face: She hadn't felt hopeful in a very long time!
Maybe this was the beginning of the rest of her life'
Absolutely lovely, and extremely touching. The lightness and happiness that these thoughts bring with them, that sense of complete liberation from the past, the realization that she has other things worth living for and the possibility of a happier future - all of that must be wonderful...And it came across so well in the description of Aarti's interaction with the kids.
"Ansh do NOT do anything naughty'mamma's just coming."
Aha! So the orange juice is the culprit! 😆 I like this idea quite a bit! Sticky orange juice and an encounter with the man who probably would have been all too happy to avoid her at that particular point in time, haha. But they can't avoid each other forever, can they?
Yash had woken late. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was Aarti's face, in the rain'bloody hell! This would not do. He needed a break.
And I repeat...they can't avoid each other forever, can they? 😉
Aaah, the scooter and the bathroom lock! How funny - and how true! The more she wants to get out of a situation involving a certain Yash Scindia being nearby, the more the world conspires against her. I love the amusement on Yash's part here, as well as the fact that he hardly realizes when he's next to Aarti, helping her with that obstinate lock. I think this is probably what happens when he's around her - he just acts automatically to try and make things easier for her; whether that actually results in good or harm...Well, THIS time, I'd say that the effect is not in the "harm" category, unless your name is Yash Scindia and you've spent the better part of the previous evening and night dreaming about a wife you'd never expected to be dreaming about! (Did that make ANY sense? I won't be surprised if it didn't!)
Aarti sensed him come up behind her. Felt his hand on hers. Shocked, she withdrew hers'only to brush against his arm'as she turned, her hand brushed against his chest.
Okay, from this point on, there is no point in saying anything because this is a brilliant description of the thoughts that must have been spinning in their minds. The expressions (*sigh* ❤️) you've captured to perfection! The bit about her hand brushing against his chest - aaah, I remember watching the promo over and over just to figure out if that had really happened or if I had imagined it! The expression on Kratika's face there is indescribable - she's totally like, "Okay, I'm just not going to move another inch. And I'll...keep my hands...here." Nonchalant is the perfect word for those little glances Aarti gives Yash after that. Nonchalant and adorable, if I might say so myself, haha!
It had been the briefest, most gentle touch'but he felt as though he'd been scorched'and that the wind had been knocked out of him.
He would drive to Lucknow.
For the second time in two days...such is the effect this woman has on him, and she doesn't even know it. Oh, I love love loveee the way both Yash and Aarti have the same reaction to each other's touch...Everything dissolves into a jumble of incoherent thoughts and they're both jolted into a state of immobility, more or less, from even the most fleeting contact in the most innocent way.
The last line: epic. I couldn't stop grinning when I read that! 😃 Good luck, Yash. If Aarti's absence doesn't drive you crazy, I'll be surprised.

That was just wonderful 👏 👏👏
Wow, wow, wow, when you said that you will be incorporating the promo #3 scene in this FF, I had no idea it would be this quickly, but it was perfectly executed and planned! Now I seriously wish we get to see the scene happening in a similar way like the one you have written!

Yash's internal dilemma and conflict was so much fun to read, the guy really seems to be losing his head when it comes to Aarti and so he is taking the easiest way out...leaving for a bit to hopefully clear his head, but like it has been doing so far, this distance is going to end up aggravating him and his feelings further. It's obvious that she has taken over his mind, and when she is not going to be in front of him, his inner voice should go into an overdrive, and it should be very interesting to see how he deals with being away from her and the kids, assuming it's the first time he is doing so post wedding!

And Aarti finally feeling a sense of calmness and hope wash over her...man that was just perfect and it made me smile like an idiot! The way she finally got her closure and her will to actually move on with her life was just wonderfully done. So now Aarti has permanently shed her past and have realized that she no longer has any feelings for her ex husband, this should help her open up to Yash, but like I have said before, that will only happen once Yash allows her in his life himself, and that will only be done when Yash closes the door to his past and to Arpita! So how you move on from here will be very, very exciting to see!

Finally, that subtle touch that happened in the bathroom and how it effected both of them was just too good. Everyday they're becoming more and more aware of each other and it is soon going to reach a point where it will become impossible for them to ignore each other!

Can't wait for the next chapter, I have been on the lookout for this one all day since you said you would be updating over the weekend, I am a hopeless cause when it comes to this FF, I really love it as much as I love the show! So here's to hoping that we might end up getting another chapter before the weekend ends! 😉

*Sigh* Borna why must you be so perfect in all your takes, that despite trying not to, I can't help but want to reply to some of your thoughts! And considering this is a FF that's we're analyzing goes to show just how amazing it really is! 😆

@bold: Your comment really resonated with yesterday's episode for me.The way the Scindia brothers convinced Yash for the bachelor party and then used some major dosage of emotional blackmail to get him to participate and dance, makes me believe that they're play a huge role in the matchmaking process of Yash & Aarti. Right now they don't mind using Arpita as a leverage over Yash because they know that's the only way to get him to agree to things, so they take full advantage of that weakness of his. But once he is married and Aarti is in the picture, I think they'll both back off this method of convincing, it might take a little time considering they've been using it for a while, but they're both very tactful and observant characters, and they know that for Yash to actually move on with Aarti, he needs to keep Arpita in his past. And Pankaj's words from Thursday's episode about how he needs to open his mind to Aarti were extremely deep and I think it's going to be him who will finally get to Yash and force him to think about his decision and priorities. And as time goes on, I think, with the close knit bond these brothers have, they both will become really, really interested to see how the AarYa relationship is progressing, and so some teasing and prodding will be a mandatory must. So if either of them had the slightest idea what was going through Yash's head in that moment, they would have had a field day and Yash would never have a peaceful moment in his life, but really how cute would that have been? Especially since now he wouldn't be able to deny his growing infatuation with Aarti to their face no matter how hard he tries! 😳

@blue: It makes perfect sense, no worries! 😃 Once again this totally goes with yesterday's episode! Yash basically can't seem to leave her alone in a tough situation, whether she wants his help or not makes no difference to him. If he can solve her problem in any way, then he's going to do whether she likes it or not. Like today, despite the coldness and awkwardness between them, when he saw her distressed, and realized that she will not be getting Maansi's attention any time soon, he disregarded everything, took her in his arms and walked inside not paying the slightest attention to her protests or the people around him. This shows that even though he has no interest in getting married again, and has no feelings for Aarti, he still feels a sense of responsibility towards her just because of the fact that she is his fiancee. He knows that she will be becoming a part of his life soon even if he isn't willing to wrap his mind around him, but subconsciously he is constantly on the look out for her. He cares about what she thinks about him, and holds her at a high regard as a mother, and these factors will play a huge role in building their relationship post marriage like it was shown here! The way he helped her with the latch, walking up to her without even realizing it, shows that despite his confusion about his feelings, he doesn't like seeing her struggle, and will always be there to lend a helping hand. The physical attracting is just a plus, plus, plus and makes the situation all the more sizzling and mind boggling for them. To see them come to terms with these changing feelings will be so much fun to see!

@italic: Haha yeah that's what I said in my comment! So far the theory that absence makes the heart grow fonder have been working wonders for these two. Up till now it was just the emotional distance that Aarti had put up between them that was driving Yash up the wall, now add physical distance to it, and he's going to go crazy for sure! I totally see him coming back home a couple days early just because he couldn't stand to stay away, and that delicious dilemma will be so much fun to look out!

And I really lose track of where I stop talking about the show and start talking about this FF! You really have written something beautiful here, and like Borna said, you portray characters and scenarios in a way that you can easily visualize everything, so major props for that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*rubs eyes in shock*
@Maham: TWO posts, Maham?! Jaan, PLEASE come to the GC-KS AT when you have time on the weekends...Obviously this show is driving both of us just as crazy as Yash is in this FF due to Aarti! (Okay, now that sentence does not make sense. I tried...Too tired to fix it. LOL!)
I'll be back in the morning to reply to your post aka spam Mira's thread - but I have to say...that whole comment about my takes supposedly being "perfect" and all...That is how I feel about your comments/views on the show and this couple especially! You need to reply to my comments more, then! I really like reading them. By the way, that reminds me...Did you ever end up "un-reserving" those spots in my Dwelling on the Details (DotD) posts? I was looking forward to reading whatever thoughts you had about those episodes!
@Mira: Look, this is what happens when you create a brilliant piece of writing in such a flawless manner! Thank you a thousand times for this! *standing ovation*
