*gapes in awe at the update on the screen*
*Edited!
I'm so addicted to this fanfic of yours, Mira...It's SO beautifully written that I can see the actors from the show as I read...It's so easy to picture Gurmeet and Kratika as Yash and Aarti in each and every part, and that makes for extremely delightful reading! A treat for the mind's eye! 😍 Thank you so much for writing this! 👏
Distracted?! If only Pankaj bhaiyya knew! He was going mad! Imagining things'.tasting things, sensing things, things he couldn't possibly have tasted or sensed'What the hell had come over him?
Ahaha, Yash. I'm going to keep saying this: Yash's reactions are too cute. His efforts at trying to jerk out of his "mad" state with little success are simply hilarious. Waise, the Scindia brothers would have a field day if they knew, wouldn't they? 😛 😆
Priceless mental image here: To his family's surprise, Yash seemed to have uncharacteristically large appetite for his rajma-chawal that night.
(Poor man, he's fighting a losing battle, isn't he? I wonder what Aarti was thinking at the dinner table at that moment...Was she as lost in thought as he was?)
Aarti's thoughts about the previous day's events: Such a beautiful part! Each and every word is perfect, but this specific bit warmed my heart the most and brought a happy smile to my face: She hadn't felt hopeful in a very long time!
Maybe this was the beginning of the rest of her life'
Absolutely lovely, and extremely touching. The lightness and happiness that these thoughts bring with them, that sense of complete liberation from the past, the realization that she has other things worth living for and the possibility of a happier future - all of that must be wonderful...And it came across so well in the description of Aarti's interaction with the kids.
"Ansh do NOT do anything naughty'mamma's just coming."
Aha! So the orange juice is the culprit! 😆 I like this idea quite a bit! Sticky orange juice and an encounter with the man who probably would have been all too happy to avoid her at that particular point in time, haha. But they can't avoid each other forever, can they?
Yash had woken late. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was Aarti's face, in the rain'bloody hell! This would not do. He needed a break.
And I repeat...they can't avoid each other forever, can they? 😉
Aaah, the scooter and the bathroom lock! How funny - and how true! The more she wants to get out of a situation involving a certain Yash Scindia being nearby, the more the world conspires against her. I love the amusement on Yash's part here, as well as the fact that he hardly realizes when he's next to Aarti, helping her with that obstinate lock. I think this is probably what happens when he's around her - he just acts automatically to try and make things easier for her; whether that actually results in good or harm...Well, THIS time, I'd say that the effect is not in the "harm" category, unless your name is Yash Scindia and you've spent the better part of the previous evening and night dreaming about a wife you'd never expected to be dreaming about! (Did that make ANY sense? I won't be surprised if it didn't!)
Aarti sensed him come up behind her. Felt his hand on hers. Shocked, she withdrew hers'only to brush against his arm'as she turned, her hand brushed against his chest.
Okay, from this point on, there is no point in saying anything because this is a brilliant description of the thoughts that must have been spinning in their minds. The expressions (*sigh* ❤️) you've captured to perfection! The bit about her hand brushing against his chest - aaah, I remember watching the promo over and over just to figure out if that had really happened or if I had imagined it! The expression on Kratika's face there is indescribable - she's totally like, "Okay, I'm just not going to move another inch. And I'll...keep my hands...here." Nonchalant is the perfect word for those little glances Aarti gives Yash after that. Nonchalant and adorable, if I might say so myself, haha!
It had been the briefest, most gentle touch'but he felt as though he'd been scorched'and that the wind had been knocked out of him.
He would drive to Lucknow.
For the second time in two days...such is the effect this woman has on him, and she doesn't even know it. Oh, I love love loveee the way both Yash and Aarti have the same reaction to each other's touch...Everything dissolves into a jumble of incoherent thoughts and they're both jolted into a state of immobility, more or less, from even the most fleeting contact in the most innocent way.
The last line: epic. I couldn't stop grinning when I read that! 😃 Good luck, Yash. If Aarti's absence doesn't drive you crazy, I'll be surprised.
