Well, there are some similarities in the patterning of the storyline, yes. And DABH was supposed to start with the marriage of the leads but that only happened about a month and a half into the show because lots of stuff had to make it inevitable. Here it is already fixed but they are dragging where dragging is not required or even acceptable.

@Indomitable: Thanks for liking my take on the episode. And I have to agree. They are really testing our patience and I hope we get awards for passing in the form of a bit of pace. The thing is they are not even dragging where there is drama for TRPs. We all know Yash and Aarti are going to get married so why draw the engagement out so much as though creating suspense? 😕

@ All You know, I'm just going to chalk all this dragging down to Holi and hope that when it is over things go back to how we want it to be. I'm not excusing the CV's, since I think that they should be able to deliver for every episode, but unfortunately that is the "in a perfect world" expectation and not "in a real world" expectation. Also, I think part of the problem is the editors, whoever they are. If they have to "drag things" for whatever reasoning they are using, I still think that the editors could utilize the footage given to them in a better way than focusing on just one shot for a million seconds. Oh well. They've already shot this stuff already, so we're going to be stuck with this for a few more days I think. Hopefully the CV's will get their act together a little better and plan things out a little better in future when they have to accommodate holidays and actor's leaves.

Well, there are art movies and now I have realised there are art serials too. Its been over two weeks and the show has still not picked up pace and Sam, I agree that they need to up the pace if they want to hold on to their audience. They have an excellent cast but they are under-utilising them. I wonder whether they shoot the scenes at normal pace and play them in slow motion. How else can anyone move so slowly? Another thing I do not like about the show are the background scores. They do not let you get the feel of the characters and are more often than not quite jarring. Agree with you on the repetitive dialogues of Aarti's friend. She is really getting on my nerves. She comes across as being quite *** starved, going by her non-ending litany of how ***ny the guy looks.

I hope they get on with the story which is what got me hooked to the show in the first place (besides GC).

thats why i read your analysis and then decide whether i am ready for yet another torture.. thankfully i record the show so that i can forward the rona dhona scenes of arti and ill talking of mansi..😡

You know, even though we are getting annoyed with Mansi, along with a lot of other things, I think that we are going to be grateful to her in the end. I think her constant risque dialogues are really want is finally going to get Aarti to deal with the whole situation, after she has a big blowup of course. If Mansi wasn't there, I think Aarti would have continued to be in her passive, rona dona mode, even during and after the marriage. At least this way she will come out of that and get a handle on herself. I think.🤔
