Hi everyone 😃

So I was watching the show and think that the show is filled with amazing actors accept for guru😕 I thought he portrayed the maan look and role brilliantly but I see that he has changed his look but not the way he acts. I wish he could change his voice a bit from the "angry young man voice".

P.s dont throw chappals at me I am the hugestest maan/gurmeet fan😆

Nobody will throw chappals at you... Its your opinion...But how can a person change his voice beats me...where is he an angry young man... As far as I can feel, he seems to be lonely or may be brooding...Isn't it natural for Yash to protect his kids given the fact he has only those 2 cutiepies as a part of Arpita to remember...He will obviously treat them like princesses, which I feel is wrong...The time when he shouted at the servant was the only time he behaved like an angry young man which is quite natural to the character he is enacting...In which other way should he get angry😕...Anyway its your opinion I guess because the character of MSK is still fresh in mind...Give time to this serial may be you will find something different in GC's acting

Punar Vivah does have fantastic actors who suit their role perfectly,and Gurmeet is no exception. As for GC not being different,may be its actually the way we are perceiving his character. Many of us are still not over from MSK hangover. But if you look a little below the surface you would see the difference. MSK was bitter and angry. Yash is broken and pensive. And his anger is there,but very controlled, except one outburst(on his helper).

Besides their are many small nuances, which we hardly notice. Like being amused on the fight of his daughters, rolling his eyes on his bhaiyya - bhabhi's banters, or listening patiently to Aarti's outburst,and then calmly responding.

So yes difference is surely there. But we havent been shown much of Yash in first week,and he has only 2-3 dialogues per episode( except for 3rd episode), so it would take us a little time to completely appreciate the difference. First week has more been from Aarti's POV, so let us wait a little and as story progresses and we are shown different aspects of Yash and his personality, I am sure you would identify with it and appreciate Gurmeet too.

yash still has some anger but i feel that is just to hide his feelings

how hurt he is and how angry he is at his wife for leaving him alone

and his family forcing him to marry again

Yeah you were right, but we doesn't know what was the character sketch of Yash, may be his character has shades of Maan Singh Khurana that's the reason we could able to see the traces of Maan. But as per my knowledge GC is a versatile actor, he cannot get influence of one character on the other. It's too early to judge any thing now..😕

😆🤣...how can he change his voice, u can???
i think no one can...every actor (bollywood/hollywood/television) can't change their Voice, they only change their looks & some expressions only!!
