@Ruchi and Angie-It s not only that female leads in hindi TV soaps sacrifice the most but the same thing also happens in bollywood movies too.In Mukadar ka sikandar Amitabh Bachan, the bigger star sacrificed. In Sholay also Amitabh sacrificed. Usually when there are two leads belonging to the same gender the bigger star sacrifices more.😉

😆 That is so true. Amitabh's sacrifice in Mukadar ka sikandar made it a huge hit. But wasn't Dharmendra the bigger star than Amitabh in Sholay (as of that time), even though Amitabh was the rising star. Also, in 1970s movies, if there were two leads, the one not getting the heroine or not getting the hero always died. The movies of those times did not believe in people living alone. So either wanted a couple at the end or one had to die.

Why to leave the Movies in 70,s 80,s Social dramas , mostly based on south films , with two female leads , That era of Jitendra, jaya prada ,sri, rekha and many more , Sometimes two marriages With sacrifices . Full of tears and all . Why showing Divya near the tulsi , or the song playing , main tulsi tere aangan ki . Why she should be . As some one mentioned , its channel who must be after encashing the popularity . DJ,s have one show on SP , just started , someone asked me to watch that . It hooks you from the first episode because of emotions .
