@Angie - I guess we differ on Sarita. I don't really blame her for breaking Divya's wedding - she had no idea how emotionally fragile Divya was at that moment, that she still cared for Raj and what kind of person she was. Ruchi, my problem with Sarita was not during that meeting. She was already feeling so down after constant comparison with Divya's serial avataar on one hand and then from Raj's lover on the other hand. So finding that Divya was the one against whom she was compared day after day (that too coming so close to getting abuse from Kamla's sister and Raj proposing another marriage for her), that she just had enough. Then on top of that, she felt that Divya was moving happily in life that she barged into her house and took out her frustrations on her.

But she did make feel Divya guilty by telling her that Divya cannot return 10 years of her life that Divya destroyed. But again I will put it down to her emotional state. Also she did finally walk out on Raj and it was Divya who brought her back. She did say in her dream sequence and in conversation with Shiela that Divya was her last hope. So in the end it was Divya's choice and it was probably not a good choice logically as Gaurav pointed it out to her.

My problem with her started afterwards. She finally made a choice of what she had proposed even if that final decision came just when Divya's wedding started. But it is the behavior afterwards that is making me question her. Again her insecurities/jealousies are valid as her inlaws (the ones who have no respect for her) constantly fawn over Divya because of her fame and wealth. But she is beginning to pull Divya too much when it was her decision to bring her into her marriage. So that's where my sympathies for her start disappearing.

Character wise, I am rooting for both Divya and Sarita to get happiness and peace. But not sure how long my sympathy will retain for Sarita if she continues to lash at Divya and cannot deal with her insecurities.

There you are right Ruchi , all the time comparison ,taunts , and when she came to know about Divya ,being the girl , that was the last straw , She did not know divya , nothing about her situation . Must be thinking , she suffered for a long time , her husband rejected her because of her and the other one is going to marry happily . In desperation people do not think about their actions .

Agree with you 😊. That's why I called Sarita a small time bully 😊. I wish she becomes kind and more perceptive about Divya. Emotional manipulation is what Divya will do to Raj (as per spoilers) - though it's going to hurt her bad.

I think the logical and meaningful thread with proper discussion without actor's rooting is always yours . ❤️ .

We got the reason for Raj marrying Sarita at last .So this was an emotional blackmail of mother and one another person which I couldn't get .So Angie ,You had already guessed it right .Just wanted to hear it in the show instead of assumptions of our own. Now I do really feel sympathy for Raj .Although want to know the real reason of Raj not supporting Divya 10 years ago .It can't be ego .How he can not understand her views ,How could he not have give his shoulders when her parents died .How they are showing raj's love now ,it seems impossible.

For that ,I even want to know the timegap b/w divya leaving and the time when raj's parents decided for his marriage with sarita. I mean may be talks had started and he wanted divya to make her meet with his family .He would not have wanted her to leave her siblings but didn't wanted her to leave him .

What his reaction and his views regarding that situation were ,which direction he wanted to step forward ,only cvs can tell . But I don't think he would have wrong .It has to be sthing with family only .

Regarding Sarita ,I too like her except that lashing out everytime on Divya. But in today's epi ,her thoughts were not like before .Even after listening to Divya's words ,she is not sure that divya is backstabbing her. She wants to know Divya's real plan .Yes 90 % same but 10% ,she is still believing Divya. Although I don't like her giving back answers each time her MIL taunts. Yes Frustration makes people like that but if you are doing this each time ,its not frustration but character .Instead of becoming like MIL,she should have choose another way of keeping herself busy and ignore such people .I can understand her not leaving this marriage bcoz i don't think she has her family support.If it was ,don't they would have noticed something not normal b/w her and Raj. Bcoz firstly Raj came late in marriage ,another thing they have no kids then Raj's interaction with sarita's parents and family.I know she will not tell herself but 10 years is such a long time .Anyone can guess it .Wonder if her parents are alive or not ??

Regarding Divya, OMG .How she has messed up her life and which type of family ,she has got in. She had a family where there was love between each other,Where everyone was equal .And here they are planning for making her bahu and to have her money ,to use her for advertising their raddi shop. She had become so guilty impulsive that she is not going to step back in any case now .How she will react after getting to know of their plans.

But she is wrong in playing with Raj's emotions .Lets see will she realize it or not .If she does then - when that time will come. When raj will actually shout at her ?? when raj will actually want her to leave ?? or before...

Ekta, they did provide an explanation for the forced marriage. But then the explanation actually erased my sympathy because then it is all his father's fault. So why is not standing up for his mother? Why is he tolerating abuse of Sarita? As far as his separation scene between him and Divya, they are only showing the same flashback again and again. So viewers are left to think that this is it and there is nothing more to it.

Yes, there was some evolution of Sarita where she still has some trust about Divya's intentions. But her insecurity remains. Her motives for staying in the marriage are mystery. Sohan Lal was scared of Sarita's father before marriage. Won't her father be even more angry if Sohan Lal brings a 2nd wife for Raj as he is planning to do so. So why is Sohan Lal not bothered about that. Then there is no explanation of Sarita's family leaving her in this crazy family.

Divya is not understanding the dysfunctionality of such a family because she is from a different background. Her rections are different that Sarita's. She cringes when she hears all this back and forth between Sarita and Kamla. I agree with you that it is waste of one's energy to fight with Kamla type person because you won't go anywhere and you will become like them. The best would be for Sarita to ignore Kamla or walk out on her. She should answer her back sometimes, but use one line or two calmly to drive her point across. But I can understand her reaction. After tolerating abuse, she started answering back and never realized that over the years she has become very Kamla like even though she detests Kamla. It is more than likely that Divya would be the one to transform her too because Divya has a different type of personality.

She is playing with Raj's emotions. Also Raj was telling her today about his belief in her that she would never lie to him. He knows her honesty and so is trusting her. He will be very hurt once he finds that out and may cause a different reaction than Divya is hoping for. But Divya is too impulsive and has a tendency not to think of long-term solutions. She does something that fulfils her goal in the short-term and think of long-term consequences later on. Probably when she is going to be close to filling her mission, Raj will find out because the mistress is already suspicious of Divya and Raj's relation. So she will be more than likely the reason for this disclosure.

@Ekta, they haven't given much of Raj as everyone is only harping on the fact that Raj changed after Divya left him. But I wrote something similar to what you have written in my earlier post. And that is what would I like to see happening when issue of Sundari comes up. That Raj stood up against Sundari, but it was Kamla who silenced him. Kamla gets very defensive about the husband because she had a lot of trust in Sohan Lal (as Dadi pointed out) and she was proven wrong. Kamla doesn't like to be proven wrong as they have shown here. Also it seems that Kamla in the beginning either did not have problem (probably affair is one thing but Sundari won't be given same rights) or justified Sundari coming to the house because she could a free servant. So it is possible that Raj protested, but then his own mother switched over the sides. So now he keeps aloof from both parents because he has washed hands off them.

Raj tolerating abuse of Sarita is more than likely due to the reason you mentioned. It seems that in his own convoluted thinking, he does think of her as his responsibility and so doesn't want to throw her out. He thinks that he hasn't shirked his duty if she walks out on him. At least that is how it is coming to me. But it is hard to say anything if they don't show his thinking.

In real life not very possible at that young age when you are not financially independent . The person who was turned to stone ,without any emotions , ten years back , is worried now about Sarita,s coming death . If Sarita would have been submissive , she would have killed herself long time back . Will Raj had reacted the same way . If am watching this , its only for Rubina , but i can not ignore the actors who are equally good with their expressions , As for Raj,s decision ,he is dreaming about his life with Divya . Lie has short term life . Yes very strange not once Sarita,s parents came to meet their daughter . Yesterday mother said to sarita about ( muh kala karvana ) with some neighbor . Know the meaning of that , she was having affair , i really liked when she gave her back . Really can not understand why this girl is taking so much of trash , should leave .So much of humiliation for a man , who does not deserve you . Are her parents alive , or settled in some other corner of world .
many times girls hide from parents not to hurt them . Is sarita is well qualified ? As for Divya , she feels guilty when Sarita accuses her , being a sensitive person .
Its melodrama of 70,80,s social movies . Its 2013 , why not bring some solutions for these kind of situations. May be this time also channel was in hurry to en cash the popularity of the show like it did with CB 2
Yes Misti i have seen all those good shows , i was always choosy about pictures or shows , never was in to Ekta,s kind of shows . That time scripts were written by famous writers , or story were well written , now writers has disappeared , day to day basis , depending on the TRP , tracks are written .
