Divya had to struggle too, things weren't easy for her. In the very 1st episode she tells that she did not get the job she came looking for.
They haven't really shown why Sarita did not do anything for the past 10 yrs. But since she did not do anything for her own self and her marriage, she doesn't come across as a person that would take charge and set things right is why I think maybe if she was in Divya's place she wouldn't have done the same. She seems like a resigned and happy to-to-be-in her place person eventhough its unpleasant. That does not mean she is selfish. While she did not do anything for the last 10 yrs does not mean she might have not done anything in the next 10? Maybe her realization is slow and she would have taken charge of her marriage in a few years?
After what they showed in today's episode, I don't know if I would really find issues with her for not doing anything for the last 10 yrs. Today's episode really threw me off.

I somehow feel the same too. If Divya was in Sarita's place she would have let go off Raj a long time ago even if it meant disgrace to her family, as she is shown to be a empathizing person.

You are right, why didn't Divya contact Raj even once in the 10 yrs? She didn't wanted to be distracted or wanted any interruption in her career? She was very very sure that Raj would wait for her for 10 long years? Did she really have a concrete plan 10 yrs back that she WOULD return after 10 yrs?
Did she talk about her plans clearly to Raj?
What I think is maybe she did and maybe he would have told we can get married and we together can look after your siblings? But probably she wanted to do it all by herself? Anyway its all a speculation from my side.
Already there are so many unanswered questions, and they seem to have added some more complicated stuff into the mix today.
About Sarita asking Divya to forego her marriage, I think that was not really pre-planned and it all came out at that moment?

I'm waiting to see if Sarita recognizes the fact that she and Raj can never have the love that Raj and Divya shared and will Sarita get Raj&Divya married? (The way they showed in Friday's epi)

Very pertinent questions. Abt Divya leaving, as I wrote to Angie above, maybe she did and maybe he would have told we can get married and I can look after your siblings? But probably she wanted to do it all by herself? Anyway its all a speculation from my side.

I agree, the more I think about Raj, I don't feel like he is good for either Divya or Sarita.
Though he keep himself 'pavitra' for his lover, what he did to Sarita wasn't right at all. He had no guts to speak to his father and stopped his wedding. How long was he going to continue in that marriage? The way he destroyed his career because a girl left him, doesn't sound good at all. He kinda comes across like a loser.
In comparison to Raj, Gaurav comes across much more understanding, generous and though deeply in love, he hasn't lost his senses and was trying to put some sense in Divya (as seen today). In my opinion any girl would be lucky to have Gaurav as a husband than Raj.
