yes. that was the problem between two countries... its good that now v r getting chance to clear the misunderstanding.. n actually mods shldn't close this topic.. it is doing great help.. n v r not fighting.. v r only sharing our views.. n clearing our misunderstandings

oky leave everything aside.. u guyz know abt canal water dispute.. y did it break out?? cuz india cut off the flow ov canal waters to west punjab in pakistan causing dire threat of famine n loss ov crops in west punjab.

first of all the dams were built on the rivers purely for the benifit of india.. n had nothing to do with harming pakistan. as i said.. the first duty that our leaders took was took develop india.. hence dam was constructed to help farmers n for other reasons also like generating electricity.
but when pakistan complained that because of this they r not getting enough water.. discussions started n in 1960 Indus Water treay was signed between both countries.. n india has been following that ever since...
