Hey Mayura, I love ur question.......... If we start on that there would be long really long debate. Even though Ram was considered as the best person ever born on earth, I just couldn't feel peace with the fact that he left sita just by hearing someone doubting her........ i was perfectly fine with agni-pariksha as that was done to prove to others how pavitra she is and he had full confidence in her....... i was happy......... but noone would be ever able to justify why he left her............ 😭And they are our Gods........ So, ofcourse Prithvi's act is really good when he was doing all that to save himself and his country......... Now I am at peace atleast for Prithvi......... 😛 for Ramayana?????? I dont think I would ever in my lifetime would find peace over there...... so I would just try to forget that........... 😕
btw, kai i m happy that u read our entire debate 😛 and reached good conclusion too 😛........ thanks for appreciating comments for my philosophical topics 😛 i m glad u like them 😳
even i want to thank many for giving me mental comfort with ur wonderful answers................... thank you guys.........i really mean it............. 😛
hi.. thanks a ton for ur reply.. this is the first time someone actually replied to my msg .. yippieeee 😃
as for ramji, no i can never understand why he took the agni pareeksha.. he said he had given his sita to agni bec. ravan cud not touch the real sita. if that is true then why didn't he repeat the same action to get her back? why did he insisted on doing the agni pareeksha in front of everyone? to prove sita was pure? n ramji said he has full faith in her n nobody questioned it still he insisted..once kaushalya told ram tht agni pareeksha was wrong bec. if u trust sita then there's no need for agni pareeksha and if you don't trust her then any number of agni pareekshas r useless.....
i think after tht incident , women folk lost their respect n cud not gain it till date..when ppl. can doubt sita then where do the normal ppl. stand in society? n if lord ram cud not do justice with her then who will? but ur right it's a looooooooong debate.
i wanna say something abt prithvi and sanyogita eloping. i think they both set a good example . some ppl. think what they did was wrong. but i don't find anything wrong bec. in history repeatedly the girls choice as to who she wants to marry is given preference. that's why we hear abt the swayamvar ceremonies. when a girl is forced to marry against her wishes, it's a sign of a regressive society . i'm glad prithvi eloped with her usne maan rakha sanyogita ka..
as for prithvi come on yaar who is perfect? we can't judge prithvi acc. to our morals. bec. everybody's morals r diff. as i said it's relative.. even if he's not following tht moral approach i love his character bec. there's a lot more to him than all this.
