Megha,
Of course, there is a revenge feeling in Prithvi on this war...but it's not just that...I think finally he got there where he says, enough its enough...now stop!

We say Bhimdev fought straight forward like a true rajput on the battle field....tell me Megha, is that true? It was due to trick (dhokha) only he escaped the first war, and killed Someshwar in the second war!

I think expanding wealth by tricky wars - considered as bad intension, and
protecting kingdom, wealth and peace by tricky wars - considered as good intension

Don't get mad on me.......... please.............. I am also the biggest fan of PRC and Rajat. It's just that a thought occured to me that is this way of making enemy weaker with disguise and fraud moral approach? As just before few days we were praising Vanraj for not attacking Ajmer when Prithvi wasn't around. He was true Rajput and they attack only in Yuddh.......... Now, Prithvi himself is attacking silently and killing Bhimdev's strength........

Personally I feel this is not what our great and noble king such as Prithvi Raj Chauhan should do..............

Does anyone agree to me?

guyssss!! u have missed the point. prithvi is NOT a fraud !!!

he TOLD the senapthi that in the morning, all ur treasure will be robbed. if he was deceiving them, he wouldnt say tht! he would have easily jus robbed the treasure without notifying chitrangao because he has alreadi given prithvi a room to stay in his house and then, therew wouldnt be such heavy secuirty!

but NO. he didnt do tht! cuz hes not a fraud! he TOLD the senapathi and the mantri that ur treasure will get stolen tomorrow so do whtever u can! hows that going behind their back???? u guys saw it! he TOLD the mantri that kal subha tumhara saara khazaana chori hone wala hai, jo kar sakte hai karlo. if he had indeed jus diguised hmself, gotten into chitrangao's house and then stolen the treasure, THEN tht wud be a fraud. but he has warned them. so its not fraud guys. becuz in this case, prithvi is giving the mantri and his guards a chance to prepare and guard the treasure!!

hey dear!!!!!!!! if u check all our debate answers, u would get to know that after so many discussions, we reached to same conclusion u r trying to make.😛 btw, u got me wrong......... my point here was that Prithvi deceived Bhimdev by slowly killing his strength without his notice. he didn't fight in war but instead one by one killed everyone so that when bhimdev really comes to fight with him in war, he has already become weak.

neverthless i agree to what u r saying.......... as he wasn't fully wrong because while killing both senapatis he fought like hero and had warned them. So, that can't be told as fully wrong......

i dunt think prithvi's act is deceiving. because this time, instead of only using his strength, hes using his intelligence too. we cant jus interpret prithvi's actions in our own way and say hes deceiving. because we all know that our prithvi isnt like that.

remember that time when we thought he was running away from harya cuz hes scared? it actually turned out that he was fine but he jus wanted to bring harya away from his crew. and he even told harya, tht "tum yeh jaante hue bhi nahin samajh paaye ki prithviraj chauhan kabhi peeth dikha kar nahin bhagta."

prithvi's actions always seem to hold another meaning at first, but later, when he explains his motives, we go AHH! so thts wht he wanted! so again in this case, we all know that prithviraj kabhi keesi ko dokhe se nahin maarta(he has said tht before himself!) his current actions may look deceiving right now, but later, as his plan progresses and more of it is revealed to us, im sure we'll realise that he was never deceiving anyone in the first place.

well though now i dont think whatever he is doing is entirely wrong, but if they explain the logic in the way u r mentioning, then nothing can be better than that 😛 btw even i loved that dialogue of prithvi when he says, prithviraj chauhan kabhi peeth dikha kar nahi bhagata.....!!!!!!!! bravo, i just love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this was just one small thought that was being obstacle in my prayer for him as God...... so i had to bring it out!!!!!!!!!! let's see how they explain it or if they dont at all think like me

oh thanks universe_megha, i had forgotten that episode fully! u r right!!!!!!

now back to our interesting debates of morality and kingdom, coincidently even i remembered exactly dialogues of someshwar and prithvi. Prithvi always was a human and a good person, but when his goodness, kindness was coming in a way of his kingdom's welfare, someshwar stepped in and told him........ "Ek Raja aur Ek Pita, Ek Beta,,,,,,,, ye do kaphi alag cheej hai..... Jab tum in dono me farak karna sikh jaooge, tab tum sahi Raja ban paooge"..........

chalo atleast now i m not objecting prithvi's deeds so strongly with this explanations, else i was in mental debate myself that how come a king who can forgive enemy 16 times, can take such low level approach?

wow! thank you all!!!!!!!!!!

i'm not sure on this but i think prithvi forgave ghori once..when he captured him. but much before tht, ghori attacked india 15-16 times but he was not in direct conflict with prithvi. i read tht ghori n prithvi fought only 2 battles n prithvi as defeated in the latter.

Kashimani, I think u got me wrong here. Bhimdev never fought liek a true Rajput. The point i made was abt Bhimdev's first war...i said his intention may/may not be welfare of his ppl.

In my opinion, "expanding wealth by tricky wars - considered as bad intension" is not bad intention but but bad means to a achieve a goal. Also, "protecting kingdom, wealth and peace by tricky wars - considered as good intension" is agian bad means to achieve a gud end.

I still think prithvi's approach cannot be fully justified.

Well, watever it may be, i believe Prithviraj Chauhan had sum weaknesses too..jus like all humans have. But the thing that made him so strong a personality was his will, determination and focus to boldly face his fears, weaknesses and enemies.
