So Mrinal's father Shivdutt n Prithvi Vallabh both are Gaj Kesari's
I thought of compiling the whole story in one post. Feel free to add anything else in itđ
Singhdant took GK Shivdutt's life to expand his kingdom.
But to conquer him, GK Prithvi was sent to him n Prithvi's entry in SD's life changed him as a person. So Malwa which was a kingdom full of vengeance turned into a kingdom of art culture n prosperity due to Prithvi. Mai also said Prithvi will atone Singhdant's sins(which happens exactly later)
Here under Shivdutt's rule Manyakhet was a kingdom of art n culture, but after Singhdant's massacre the evil in him transfered to Mrinal. She became another Singhdant thirsty of revenge n war.
She came to Malwa to avenge Shivdutt's death, but she met Prithvi who found his woman of dreams in her. He offered Mrinal to share her pain with him.
Mrinal tried to kill SD, but failed to do so n was chased by PV who instead of killing her, let's her escape. Though allowed her to escape, he captured her heart with his sword which she never accepted.
Mrinal n Tailap tried multiple times to defeat PV but he always defeated them n gave them lease of life.
Prithvi who knew that his own father is the cause of Manyakhet's misery n Mrinal's hunger for revenge (yeah we never got any scene but obviously SD must have told him abt the past) decided to get her close to life by acting as Dharti, also to protect her from the threats in Malwa. When Mrinal came to know about Dharti's truth she decided to cheat PV in luv n get her revenge from Singhdant, though she said that she's cheating, in reality she was already in luv with PV. Prithvi believed her n his feelings developed further for her in this process.
Meanwhile Sindhu who was brainwashed by Mahakai decided to kill SD n frame Prithvi n Mrinal for it. N the same happens. PriNal are framed but Sindhu's wife reveals his truth n Prithvi is released n he saves Mrinal as well. Prithvi instead of punishing Sindhu n giving rise to another revenge hungry evil Sindhu, changes his heart with forgiveness n love.
Mrinal couldn't get revenge from Malwa n her thirst for revenge became worse because Sindhu had insulted her. She leaves for Manyakhet leaving a heartbroken Prithvi behind.
Mai tells Prithvi that he has a greater purpose in life n to know his motive he needs to go to Mrinal n Manyakhet. Though not that convinced initially to go to Mrinal again, after some hesitation he goes to Manyakhet.
Manyakhet after Shivdutt's rule had become a land of hypocrisy under Mrinal n her puppet brother Tailap's rule where different rules applied for different people. Mrinal though cruel as a ruler, she has been selfless as a sister n given her life for Tailap n his family. N Tailap too loved his akka. Tailap's wife had developed hatred for Mrinal as she fully controlled him n allowed his concubine Kosha in the palace as she was pregnant. Tailap n Jakala's son is a psycho rapist and his marriage is fixed with Vilas.
Prithvi enters Manyakhet with a peace proposal between 2 kingdoms n to strengthen the relationships between the kingdoms he proposes Mrinal for marriage. Obviously Mrinal refuses it but allows Prithvi to stay there till Deepostav.To bring back art and culture in Manyakhet he asks Mrinal to permit him to make an idol. Finally on Deepostav day by revealing statue of both of them in a romantic posture Prithvi openly declaress his luv for her .Mrinal gets furious n sentences him to be hanged. Prithvi says his last wish is to die in Mrinal's hand.
The day of Prithvi's death arrives n Mrinal is extremely emotional,she comes close to Prithvi to hang him.
Prithvi subconcously takes her into an embrace n kisses her passionately n she kisses him back without realizing that people are watching them. Finally she realises n pushes Prithvi n stabs him.Furious Tailap orders to get Prithvi's body chopped into pieces. But a sage called Hemraj appears saying Prithvi is Gajkesari. N can't be killed, though they can arrest him, he also gets his treatment done.
Mrinal who is furious on Prithvi for the kissing incident subjects him to torture in the prison by whipping, but he keeps expressing his love for her. She tries all methods to break him, but he plays Veena n recites love poetries . Finally she arranges his public humiliation by caging him n getting him stoned by Manyakhet people, but he makes Manyakhet people realize that enimity gives rise to hatred, n hatred can be removed only by friendship n love. N they finally stop stoning him. That's how Prithvi finally atones Singhdant''s sins
Meanwhile Tailap who has completely got brainwashed by Vikramjeet, retires Mrinal from her duties as a princess after the kissing incident. Jakala insults her n asks her to check what people are talking about her in Manyakhet streets. Mrinal feels dejected n cornered by her own family. She goes to the streets where she hears an old lady questioning her character. Prithvi who is caged there takes a stand for Mrinal taking the full blame of the kiss n telling that the fault was his n he deserves punishment not Mrinal. This makes Mrinal trust PV's intentions n realize that his love is genuine.
Mrinal's friend Sulochana makes her realize that her family for whom she gave her everything, don't love her, but Prithvi whom she considers as enemy is the only one who loves her truly.
Realising this Mrinal decides the leave the palace n Tailap doesn't stop her. But she's somehow stopped by Guru Aditya.
Vikramjeet n Satyashrey on the other hand plans to get Prithvi killed. Vilas over hears the convo n Vikram stabs her, but she somehow is able to let Mrinal know about this. Hemraj, Guru Aditya n Mrinal stop Vikram from poisoning Prithvi.
Hemraj finally reveals it to Prithvi that he's Gaj Kesari and his motive is to unite all kingdom''s under his leadership n fight against Afghan invader.
Guru Aditya tells Mrinal that her father was also GK. And after the completion of GK's mission his powers diminish n his enemies can easily attack him. Mrinal vows to stay with Prithvi n protect him everytime.
Mrinal confesses her love for Prithvi. She expresses her remorse for torturing him. Both share a hug.
So Prithvi finally won Mrinal with love
But the evil in Mrinal has got transferred to Tailap. Power has blinded him. He's seen to be misbehaving with Kosha.
Prithvi decides to make Mrinal the senapati for GK team. Personally loved this part, how she was retired by her own brother from Rajniti n asked to leave, but Prithvi gave this strong woman a new path in life.
Prithvi makes Sindhu the king of Malwa n leaves for GK mission. Meanwhile Tailap on Vikram's advice decides to attack Malwa when PV has gone to Kabul to fight with Afghans. N after the completion of GK mission they plan to kill Prithvi as his powers would have diminished.
So whom will Mrinal choose then? Her brother for whom she has always sacrificed but he showed his back when she needed him the most or the man, who always stood by her in thick n thin protected not only from external threats but her internal evils as well n filled her revengeful life with love?
