Phew!!!

Finally Watched the first episode of this show. I know I am too late to post my Reviews.

This show is... Sorry, words are failing me, the episode was that Damn Amazing😳

Sonarika was LIT❤️ The Fiery yet soft-hearted & pained Mrinal 😳😭A true diplomat, not some Overtly-Principled fool😃 The subtlety with which Sonarika portrayed each & every emotions Pain, Anger, Revenge, etc is LOVE

Ashish Sharma as the poetic, kind, just yet powerful & strong King is LOVE😳 The King who loves art, sings & dances with his fellow countrymen, yet who can destroy the world of Malwa's enemies is a true Gem😉 Reminded me of Rajarshi Janak

For the first time in ITV I am seeing foreigners not speaking in weirdo accented Hindi. And also for the first time the foreigners are not some weird red/yellow haired(wig) ppl😆 Loved the minute detailing of those Africans😉

The fight scenes were also much better than other historical shows, although it looked OTT sometimes, especially when PrithviVallabh fought those Africans singlehandedly, it looked a bit artificial, but apart from this everything was awesome😃

In short, I don't know how I missed this splendid show but this one is damn amazing After Chandragupta Maurya in NDTVImagine this is the one that has historically satisfied me( although I have watched only 1episode😆)

At the end neither intelligence nor foolishness makes any difference as life is short.A generous man would be percieved as a foolish one by a miser. But ultimately only the good karma glory created through your good actions stays with you. A person consumed by vengeance will bring only death and destruction to not only enimies but also ones own dear and near ones.

This is shown beautifully in mahabarath were even though panchali get her revenge killing all kauravas but end up paying dearly by losing all her sons.

I am unable to understand your implication!!!

Perhaps you have misunderstood my calling Mrinal a diplomat.

But I disagree with you, a common man can live a naive life not a king, if necessary, a king has to become a diplomat otherwise the kingdom or the country has to pay for the king's foolishness, example Indians suffering on the hands of British, just because of the foolishness of their Kings who welcomed those Britishers with open hands

There is a difference between generosity/kindness & foolishness and I am glad that Prithvi knows that line, as shown in the 2nd episode, where Prithvi defeated that Mantri with his argument😳

And after watching her entire family getting burnt by Malwa, you can't blame Mrinal if she seems revenge.

Related to Draupadi, although she suffered many personal loss, but if the Pandavas had not waged the war, then perhaps the condition of women in Hastinapur would have turned more pathetic, as said by Krishna of Mahabharat Star Plus. When you fight for justice, you definitely need to bear personal loss.

Finished watching episode 2!!!😉

The first half of the episode was quite light-hearted. Loved watching Prithvi pulling the legs of Senapati & Nisandraj (sorry if I have mistaken the name)😆 The respect he showed towards the commoner's wife, shows how much grounded & humble he is, despite being a Yuvraja😳

Vilas' entry was shown😉 She's a cute and bubbly child having huge respect for Mrinal😃 Loved her poetic description of Mrinalini, it is actually apt for Mrinal❤️

In the episode Prithvi's diplomatic side was shown. Loved watching him defeating the Mantri in arguments😳

Tailap Raj has a concubine!!!🤢 Yuckkk!!!🤢 It's pathetic to see that the brother of such a strong woman, like Mrinal is so much weak But why was Tailap-Kosha shown with Such detailing, is Kosha going to play a major role in this story in future?🤔

In short it was a good episode!!!

My implication is that life is too short that at the end it does not matter if you are good or bad. Yes a king to become great needs to plunder the neighbouring kingdom for resources and for territory. History is written by victors and not by vanquished. So the story created by victor becomes truth. Indian kingdoms faced ignonimity of defeat against british because indians were divided in the name of caste and religious consideration or petty personal rivalries.
