What an episode! It starts and ends with Pratigya knowing the truth about Sajjan Singh and his other son.

It was so funny to hear Krishna talking to himself while working out in his room, thinking of what he is going to do to the lawyer. He is so focused, so determined to win the match. If he could be that way about the restaurant, he could open a chain of them.
In the scene where the family is eating at the table, Shakti couldn't have been more disgusting by spitting into the lawyer's cup. Shakti has the brains of a flea, it's only because he is his father's son with his name that he has the courage to do what he does. And his only child is conceived out of violence, so again his family is more fake than the lawyer's. It's propped up by his father's money and power. And if Pratigya's ordering another cup of tea raised eyebrows, so be it. The woman comes from a better family than everyone, and you don't treat a guest like garbage. Abhimanyu getting angry looked amazing because there is no expression Mohit can't do. Maybe she is trying to keep the peace, or gain his trust but whatever the reason, I think she has her heart in the right place.
As for Abhimanyu and Krishna, I LOVED their banter in the living room. Abhimanyu sarcastically remarking that he could already see a glow on Krishna's face from the almond milk was priceless. The lawyer from the village is just golden when it comes to displaying his wit. Abhimanyu looked awesome in his forest green shirt, honestly.
Pratigya talking to her father about Abhimanyu was revealing. The fact that the Professor himself thinks that he is a good person speaks volumes. He may like Krishna, but the Professor will never overlook an educated man. And he is a decent judge of character, he sees the good in Krishna as well as that of others. He sees the potential in Komal's remarriage, then why not the potential of Abhimanyu. His opinion may have some influence with Pratigya in general. But the truth is, the interaction between educated people will be different than that between uneducated simply because of class. Pratigya has already regarded him as a lawyer, rather than someone of the servant class.
You have to respect Krishna for refusing his brother's silly pieces of advice. He is never going to cheat during a match, no matter how desperate he is to win it. The guy is made of better stuff than Shakti, which is obviously why Prats loves him.
The final scene with Pratigya and Abhimanyu was amazing. The tension was thick in the air when Prats came in with her laddoo, and I dont blame Abhimanyu for asking why she came to their room. for once, Abhimanyu dropped his guard and revealed that yes, the attitude of the Thakurs was getting to him. That he has feelings. And Pratigya didn't make excuses for them. She finally confronted him with the truth, and Abhimanyu didn't back down because he knows she isn't going to tell anyone what she knows. Also, theirs is the one relationship besides Samar and Abhimanyu that would make sense. Pratigya and Abhimanyu are both educated people who went to college. They are the only two people in the haveli who would not have thought to spit inside someone's tea. They both have class and more than anyone else put together. Kesar isn't bad, but she is still from the same caste as everyone else. When Abhimanyu tells Pratigya that he isnt doing this for a big mansion and all he wants is his rightful status, it was moving. I felt it was the best line of the entire episode.
Abhimanyu knows that without the admission of SS, he and his mother will never have the respect of the world. Everyone will stand on a false pedestal and look down on his mother and him in spite of how they have lived. And because of that, he has to be on this mission. Any man would be proud to have him for a son. But only because SS is conscious of his own reputation does he hesitate.

Agree with most of the points…………….but can't say that ASY is a good man ……………if so he wouldn't have wished death of an innocent man n fought for a murderer in court , thus cheating his clients ……… n a day ago he was saying to his mother that he wanted the haveli n now he is backtracking ………….

I don't agree to all your points and as for Prof being a good judge of character is laughable as he believed Tam over his daughter which is unacceptable. If ASY is so educated he has a funny way to show it. P only changed her opinion of ASY after finding out about ASY secret. She has not shown much in hospitality before that.

TBH, K is a better man than ASY as he would not use his personal vendetta to convict or hurt anyone purposely where as ASY has. His issue is with SS then what is the need to get personal to convict an innocent man. Here we have seen him unethical and using the law to bad use.

Mohit is good but to me he has work to do as AB and JM sometimes just walk over him in the acting dept

Noone said you have to agree to all of my points, it's a free forum. I said Professor is a good judge of character, not a great one. For someone whose daughter was forced to marry someone and later observed how much the man looked after her in spite of his own shortcomings, he was able to give Krishna the benefit of the doubt. As for believing Tanmay over his daughter, I think he didn't want to believe his own SIL was capable of killing his son. I think he's human. I also think the cv's wanted to create a conflict between father and daughter which is why they made Professor doubt Pratigya so it would haunt them later. It would show Pratigya in a strong light. Professor didn't exactly like Komal either but she changed while staying with the Saxenas.
I am not going to say if Krishna is a better or worse man than ASY. The two men are equal in birth. Krishna slapped his own wife in the presence of everyone, then later dragged her out of her parents' house in the middle of the night. So I think both men should face equal judgment. His issue is with SS, but he needed the man to realize what he has done by financially supporting them and refusing to accept him as family. Without Krishna, he couldn't make him understand the depth of his mother's and his experience as outcastes. People talk in villages, and I am sure everyone knew Shakuntala's marriage was a sham. Yes, he may have used unethical means to get at SS, but SS has harmed them both by not giving them his name. Did SS think about Shakuntala's innocence or his when he got involved with her? Krishna was ready to kill Abhimanyu without his wife's knowledge just a few days ago, so let's not get into who is the better man. He is a Thakur.
Mohit is a veteran of many serials, Pratigya is not his first show. He's done Jab Love Hua, Paraya Dhan, Millee, Durgesh Nandini. I am not worried about his acting skills and I think it's silly to compare him with others. I like his chemistry with the other actors, and I am sure other MM fans will agree. I only started watching the show after ages because I saw that he had joined the cast, and made it more interesting.

Wow...How did I miss this absolute gem of a post??? Splendid write up.👏
U're spot on from beginning to the end of ur post. Shakti is worst than a dog...found him disgusting to the core when he was spitting in the tea of ASY. These thakurs at TN r a bunch of junglees...except Krishna of course who has a pure heart. I hope K will accept Abhi as soon as he comes to know about his reality...but not shakti for he is the real ba***** at TN.
@red: So true. Abhimanyu has class & he is fighting for his rights. Why the hell one should question his act of fighting a case against K without discussing the reason behind his hatred towards thakurs. He is justified in going to any extent against SS so long as he is denied the rights n recognition he deserves.
